The quality of the food is extraordinary: every dish has its own soul, expressing Sicily with authentic flavors and carefully crafted pairings. The staff is friendly, smiling, and passionate, always ready to offer advice without ever being intrusive. And then the location... simply dreamy. Dining under the stone arches, amidst soft lighting and an intimate atmosphere, is a moving experience. A place where everything is harmonious: food, hospitality, and beauty. It's truly hard not to fall in love with it.

13/12/2025: Terrible service. They made us wait outside in the cold even though we had a reservation. Once we got in, extremely late, they made us wait another hour for our pizzas. Absolutely not recommended.

08/12/2025: All this confusion leads to... a soulless pizza and a few bonus cramps. The location, though simple, and the cuisine, rushed and poorly prepared, demonstrate that aspiring to high ratings requires much more effort. It's all well and good to make money and entertain as many people as possible, but without quality, the return is merely illusory.

14/04/2025: We booked by phone at the last minute, but already by phone you understand the care and attention towards the customer. I saw really interesting and well prepared dishes being served. I ate an appetizer of artichokes and roasted mushrooms which were cooked and very tasty. A 1kg steak cooked to perfection and a simple but truly tasty orange salad that complemented the tasty meat, all accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Donnafugata cellars. Excellent experience

14/04/2025: We booked by phone at the last minute, but even over the phone, you can tell the care and attention they give to their customers. I saw truly interesting and well-prepared dishes served. I had an appetizer of roasted artichokes and mushrooms, cooked to perfection and very tasty. A 1kg steak was cooked to perfection, and a simple but truly flavorful orange salad complemented the delicious meat. All accompanied by a bottle of wine from the Donnafugata cellars. An excellent experience.

30/11/2025: We had dinner at Tocco d'Oro last night. Barbara (the owner) welcomed us as always, making us feel at home right away. The experience was truly impeccable. We chose pizza and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh, carefully selected, and above all, locally sourced, which truly make a difference on the palate. The restaurant is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail, and a warm and refined atmosphere that makes dinner even more enjoyable. Every detail is tastefully considered, and you can sense the owners' passion, always present and professional. A special thanks goes to Dario, the waiter who served us: attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and always smiling. A true added value to the overall experience. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, elegance, and superior service. A place you'll gladly return to! 🍕✨

12/10/2025: Overcooked rice, diet portions, and distracted, bordering on rude service (even though we had booked, we were assigned a table near the exit; even though there was a better-located table available, and even though we had explicitly and politely asked for a change).

09/12/2025: Trattoria located in the small square of Donnafugata Castle. Excellent food, from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and water, along with local red wine, ricotta razor clams, and coffee to finish. Excellent value. Kudos to Flavio.

02/11/2025: After the wonderful visit to the castle, we stopped for a refreshing drink. We were hungry, so we decided to share an appetizer. All the individual dishes on a single plate were local, authentic, and very tasty. The only thing that left me a little perplexed was the €3 cover charge per person; otherwise, the price was very fair.

We were there because big fans of Inspector Montalbano (restaurant was a location) so had his own screen favourites. Fan or not this restaurant should be on list if in Ragusa. Approx £80 incl wine.

08/11/2025: I stayed there for a few days in October. I'm talking about the accommodation, not the restaurant. It's important to note that there's no cell phone coverage here. There's only WiFi, which is subject to frequent power outages, and the resort doesn't have a UPS. Perhaps it would be helpful if the manager mentioned this on the website and at the time of booking! Rooms don't have bidets (this is Italy!). Recommended (perhaps) only in summer.

03/11/2025: Wonderful location! A little difficult to get to, but once you arrive, you'll be amazed! Surrounded by greenery and nature, the inn is an ancient residence that preserves its original architectural features. You can also stay overnight; there are rooms. We went for dinner. Delicious pizza! Very friendly service. I recommend it.
