09/12/2025: We were at the castle on day 8... we realized it was 1:30 PM, so I looked for a nearby restaurant and I was inspired by Il Gattopardo. I called and a very kind lady allowed me to reserve a table for four adults and one child. Despite the fixed menu of fish or meat, they allowed us to order à la carte. 1 children's menu, 2 cavatelli with eggplant and Ragusano cream, and 2 main courses with potatoes. Everything was truly excellent, the staff were kind and helpful, and the owner was so hospitable she made you feel at home. Congratulations, go there because it's worth it.

19/10/2025: Dinner at this elegant restaurant was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the care and attention to food intolerances, in my case, celiac disease, was exceptional. Thank you again for pampering me that evening at dinner and the next day at breakfast in the café next door. If I ever return to Ragusa, it would be a pleasure to return to Circolo D'Italia.

12/10/2025: The pasta here is so delicious. I had pasta for lunch, and the anchovy spaghetti and sea urchin cream paccheri were absolutely delicious. The anchovy spaghetti was perfectly balanced, and the sea urchin cream paccheri was delicious. If you like creamy pasta, try this. The atmosphere is nice and clean, and they even provide handkerchiefs in the bathroom. I definitely recommend trying this if you're visiting Ragusa. Just make sure to check the bill carefully when you pay! There were two waters, and the dessert was from a different menu. Enough for two Koreans.

11/06/2025: Been there with my family to visit the "fattojo", i. e., the place where they show how to make the chocolate from bean to bar. The visit was worth the trip: the two ladies showed us the the process of making the real Modica chocolate, explaining also how to roast, peel and grind the beans...interleaving the experience with sweet treats, from the cold chocolate to the chocolate flavored spirit at the end. Definitely worth visiting!

Le tavolette da 50gr vanno approssimativamente dai €2,80 ai €4,40. I tour esperienziali devono essere necessariamente prenotati in anticipo. Buona la cioccolata fredda a €3,50 e la cassatina al pistacchio a €5,50.

From the "gran crudo" (crude fish platter) to the Sirenetta Experience menu, it was a riot of flavors. Super fresh fish like oysters, scampi, tuna sashimi, and mantis shrimp, all expertly seasoned without overpowering the flavors of the food. Our friends also ordered a mixed fried fish dish, which was crispy and dry, not greasy. Our son also enjoyed and appreciated the shrimp cocktail and a portion of fish and vegetable couscous. The desserts were amazing, such as the pistachio parfait accompanied by a delicious and delicate ricotta mousse and strawberry ice cream. The chocolate cake was also good, and finally the Boero was unforgettable, handcrafted, with a delicious cherry and liqueur filling, I could have eaten 10 of them. Highly recommended.

I want to keep it to myself, hahahahaha, but it's only right to compliment the owners and the staff. The food is top-notch, the kindness and service are top-notch, and the prices are reasonable and fair. They even make excellent desserts. Mouth-watering. The only small flaw is that it's a small place, and when it gets crowded, it's really cramped. But that's not their fault. I'm just writing this to warn you that if you're a group of 10 people at lunch and want to sit down, it can be a bit of a hassle at certain times. Otherwise, it's a very nice and welcoming place. The people who work there are incredibly sweet. Even when they're under pressure because there are so many people, they always give you the right amount of attention and even a smile.

Tables are discreetly separated, and acoustic comfort is difficult to assess due to the small number of customers. Decent traditional cuisine: mixed antipasto, varied but unmemorable. The "lolli che favi" (a type of pasta filled with honey and honeycomb) are hard to judge, having never eaten them before, but they didn't impress me at all, while the ricotta ravioli with pork sauce were convincing. Decent house wine. Friendly and fairly quick service. Affordable. Rating: 7

31/07/2025: Un paradiso immerso nella campagna...l'accoglienza da parte di Paolo è stata eccellente, abbiamo passato 4 GG in totale relax, il luogo incantevole e immerso nella natura, il ristorante oltre ad essere elegante è ad un livello molto alto, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, siamo stati seguiti da Vito persona squisita e sempre disponibile, per quanto riguarda le camere possiamo confermare una pulizia eccellente, letto comodissimo e lenzuola e asciugamani morbidi e profumati, ci hanno fornito i teli per la piscina, quest' ultima con acqua pulitissima, la zona piscina ben sistemata con ombrelloni, sdraio e lettini, c è pure un bar aperto per acqua e caffè da fare in autonomia, consigliamo vivamente di visitare questo incantevole posto!!!

29/06/2025: Posto molto grande, edificio ben curato all'esterno e all'interno, camera carina e comoda, ben attrezzata, personale gentile, aria condizionata e wifi ben funzionanti, piscina grande e pulita davanti a un panorama mozzafiato. Unica pecca: la colazione. Davvero molto esigua e poco varia per quantità. Noi siamo arrivati alle 8.40 e c'era poco e niente: cornetti contati, 2 mini tortine e muffin finiti, due, tre fette di salumi...un hotel del genere, così bello e organizzato, dovrebbe presentare una colazione adeguata, per varietà e quantità, i vassoi non dovrebbero mai restare vuoti, il cliente si rende conto che non va bene. Quindi, consiglio di migliorare la colazione. In ogni caso ci tornerei volentieri!

28/10/2025: I was with friends strolling around Marina di Modica. Despite the late hour, we noticed the place was packed, so we chose it as our spot. They quickly set us up at a table, even though it was on the roadside but well-located. We chose a little bit of everything, from pizza to fish, to pasta dishes, accompanied by a good, authentic Sicilian Grillo. We chose the pizza with the fried fish of the day as an appetizer, and everything arrived quickly. Afterwards, we moved on to the first and second courses, from the peppered mussels to the pasta and fish. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place, although the price can be a bit higher depending on what you choose.
