07/08/2025: Prices aren't sky-high, as has become commonplace in Messina and other cities. The quality hasn't suffered at all; in fact, it's consistently high. The location is very interesting and charming. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is clean!

Buonissime le pizze, ben cotte e ben condite. Io ho preso la messinese, ottima! Personale disponibile ed attento. Bravi!

27/07/2026: It had already been selected during my research for a dessert born in this pastry shop run by the grandfather Carlo of the current owner, granddaughter of the founder Carlo, the black and white dessert, a variant of the French profiteroles (The black and white is a typical variant from Messina (often called "bongo" in Tuscany) which includes cream puffs filled only with whipped cream, covered with gianduia cream and chocolate flakes. The profitterol is a dessert of Italian-French origin consisting of cream puffs filled with custard or chantilly cream and covered with a drizzle of dark chocolate.

We had the pleasure of trying real black and white for the first time, in this pastry shop where it was born!
Truly delicious!
It's impossible to imagine anything more balanced: just the right amount of sweetness, not at all cloying or heavy. The cream puffs and creams are incredibly light.
And, what's more, they're made to order!
The lady was very friendly and kind, making the short wait for our order a lot easier.
Excellent, we'll definitely be back!

21/09/2023: Vado spesso a mangiare da nord sud, offre diverse alternative eccellenti alla solita pizza del sabato sera, le galettes salate e i waffels col gelato sono fenomenali. In estate vale decisamente la pena provare i vari “pani cunzati”. Ingredienti di prima qualità, servizio ottimo e proprietario gentile e disponibile. Ci torno sempre con piacere. Consigliato.
06/08/2023: Ho mangiato ottime cprepes e waffle, accompagnati con gelato vari gusti. Ho provato creme pistacchio, cioccolato bianco, nutella.

20/05/2024: Wir sind spontan auf den Berg gefahren, um in diesem süßen und so Familiären Restaurant zu essen.
Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen und es wurde NUR für uns gekocht, da sie an diesem Tag eigentlich keine Gäste empfingen.
Es war total lieb und so so lecker! Man hat die Liebe im Essen und die Frische in den Zutaten total geschmeckt.
