04/05/2025: Posticino molto carino a due passi dalla Basilica di San Bartolomeo. Pasta al sugo alla norma eccezionale, patelle fritte squisite, personale gentile e disponibile. Appena arrivati a Scicli ci siamo sentiti in Sicilia dopo questo pranzo gustoso e delizioso. Da tornarci!!

02/04/2025: Ordered a truffle at home, what can I say? Delicious pizza beyond all expectations, perfect cooking, not burnt at all, so good.

06/10/2025: A wonderful discovery: we had excellent pizzas with light, easily digestible dough and excellent ingredients. The service was very helpful and friendly. The prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

07/09/2025: We went to this pizzeria with friends, we had focaccia and pizza, the focaccias were not only small but almost empty, we didn't even like the pizza, we won't be going back

19/09/2025: Extremely negative experience. Two days earlier, I had ordered two ice cream cakes for my birthday. When I went to pick them up, one was wrong; a pistachio ice cream cake had become a bausette, and the other hadn't been prepared at all. A huge inconvenience for a birthday party. NOT RECOMMENDED.

19/09/2025: I ordered cassata online. It arrived on time, perfectly packaged and preserved. Excellent flavor.

05/10/2025: The place was freezing cold when you entered the first room. The pizza tasted awful, especially the one with cheddar. A bottle of still water was 4.50, which was too expensive for a bottle of unknown water. The sandwiches were limited and the prices were high for the quality of the food.

23/09/2025: I tried the avocado toast and I'd honestly recommend calling it a "starter." It's not at all pleasant to pay the price of a pizza and find yourself with two small slices of bread with four chickpeas on top and a bit of arugula: it leaves you feeling hungry. In Europe, avocado toast is usually much richer and more substantial. The beer, on the other hand, is good and the service friendly—no complaints there. Overall, however, the place is very expensive for a student lab.

28/08/2025: There are a lot of people on holidays, but it's okay on weekdays. The fried noodles come with cabbage and you can customize it with meat for 0.5€. The service will be slow if there are a lot of people, but it's acceptable.

17/08/2025: We went to this restaurant tonight after not coming here for years... let's start by saying there were only two people in the dining room on a Saturday night, too few to provide customer service. We ordered both baked and grilled ravioli, and I have to say they were really good. But when the "crispy" duck arrived, it was horrible! The fried food, which wasn't mentioned on the menu, seemed old, dark, and fried with oil that was definitely not new. The duck was dry and of a questionable gray color. Furthermore, "fried duck with Chinese herbs" meant half a lemon wedge... which really should have been removed immediately. Service was a bit slow, and the mixed-race guy was obsessed with taking the menu off the table repeatedly, even though they didn't serve menus since there was a whole stack in front of our table. Basically, if you don't know what to order, you have to be careful what you choose from the menu. Otherwise, the sautéed spaghetti with shrimp was good. The sweet and sour sauce was watered down and tasteless, except for the vinegar and water. I expected the kitchen to have guys who were consistent with the type of oriental food but not even a shadow... I don't think we'll return, a small and noisy place with tables too close together, I'm sorry to have re-evaluated it like this after years and above all to have re-evaluated the fried ice cream which is also questionable.

13/07/2025: I went to this wonderful pizzeria and I have to say I had a fantastic pizza (the tasty one), which I highly recommend. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Giacomo, the owner, was truly a wonderful person. I'll definitely be back again this week to try the rest of the menu.

08/09/2025: A charming atmosphere with two refined indoor dining rooms and a very pleasant outdoor space, open in the summer. The location is beautiful, near Ognina and very convenient for parking. I had the opportunity to try several different dishes. The highlight is definitely the restaurant, with its seafood selection: the dishes are excellent quality and the portions are generous. The pizzeria offers a wide variety of pizzas, with light, easily digestible dough. The staff is very kind and attentive. Mrs. Vera, always present in the dining room, is sweet and excellent with customers. Congratulations!

19/07/2025: I ordered a Parmigiana and a Calabrese on Glovo. They were delivered on time and were delicious. I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time. The dough was delicious and the toppings were great, and the prices were great. I'm really happy. Next time I'm craving pizza, I'll definitely order from you again!

10/08/2025: A place from another era, delicious food, and the owners are incredibly kind and friendly. It's very affordable, and the quality of the home-made cuisine is excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

02/06/2025: Small laboratory that prepares with care and dedication a wide selection of artisanal sweets. I have tried almost everything and I ship their products to customers and friends all over the world. Each type of biscuit is made with fresh and high quality ingredients and are truly appreciated. Always friendly staff and the owner Mrs. Rita is an attentive and super friendly person.

25/06/2025: We went to Olio on a recommendation and were not disappointed! The setting is beautiful, the staff are very attentive and friendly, and they even accommodated our special requests (vegetarian) without hesitation. Contrary to other reviews, our portions were more than adequate. The food was delicious, and we had a lovely evening! Thank you very much :) We'll be back!

13/04/2025: Primo piatto con porzioni minime. 15€. Crocchette di pollo dure, Hamburger piccoli e molto bruciati, neri, 15€. La cuoca ha insistito che era normale che si bruciano. 2,50€ il coperto. Nel complesso locale da evitare.

26/09/2025: Insigne Café is a nice, solid spot in Catania. The cappuccino and arancini were tasty, and the service was friendly. Nothing particularly special, but a good place for a quick coffee break and a snack.
