26/06/2025: Shady spot for lunch, welcoming host and varied array of very reasonably priced food 😊 We ate outside and chose from specials board - lasagne zucchini, mushroom wraps, antipasto… I just wanted salad which they were happy to rustle up for me, my husband had the lasagne which he pronounced delicious! Had to finish it off with Tiramisu! Great find out of the heat of the day 👍🏻😊

03/05/2025: È raro trovare un ristorante dove sentirsi a casa, mangiare genuino, tipico, casareccio e dai gusti ricercati allo stesso tempo. Piatti buonissimi ed abbondanti come si addice a posti rustici, senza fronzoli, ma in cui si percepisce la cura nello sfamare i propri ospiti e farli uscire con il sorriso. Isnello si conferma anche con questo un posto di gente attenta e di cuore. Grazie

22/05/2025: Good welcome, but the bill is indeed steep for basic food...60€ for a chop and a sausage to share, plus a plate of pasta for two, a small plate of caponata, two desserts, a glass of wine for two. Basic room also very expensive. 80€...A shame, compared to the squalid establishments frequented in Sicily.

18/05/2025: The only hotel. Also a pizzeria. Good pizza

08/09/2025: Great view and a lovely spot. That's why we decided to try a crepe despite the excessive prices. Unfortunately, the glass was dirty, and the staff seemed stressed. Ice cream was missing from the crepe, but it later appeared on the bill. The floor throughout the café was unfortunately littered with paper and food.

07/09/2025: Cozy place with excellent service. The waiter offered us to sit inside because of the bees. Cornetto with ricota is special !

17/05/2025: A small Japanese style restaurant that conquers you at the first bite. I ordered the tonkatsu, the absolute star: crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside, served with fresh cabbage, rice and a homemade sauce that enhances every bite. A simple dish, but executed to perfection. If you are looking for authenticity and flavor, this is the right place, I will definitely be back!!🇯🇵

30/04/2025: Although it claims to be Korean style, it is difficult to say that it is Korean style by Korean standards... The owner doesn't seem to be Korean either, so I hope he doesn't refer to it as Korean-style chicken gangjeong. It's hard to say that the curry is particularly Asian-style curry. ㅠㅠ Maybe I had high expectations, but I was a bit disappointed.

10/04/2025: Super arancini, very kind staff, I took some arancini to take to Calabria, even after days, delicious as freshly baked.

20/03/2025: If you want to eat Messina focaccia, this is certainly the least suitable place. Focaccia in which the only sensation was grease, but not a tasty grease, a grease devoid of any taste. Terrible service, the staff made comments as if the customer couldn't listen to them, also not very attentive.

02/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato l altra sera e siamo rimasti entusiasti da questa esperienza. Personale molto gentile considerando le nostre intolleranze alimentari sia a latte e derivati ed al glutine. Pasta alle vongole da stella Michelin. Frittura spettacolare. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente considerata l alta stagione. Da consigliare a tutti i turisti qui a Vulcano

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale (La Bottega, Vulcano) e, onestamente, non ci ha lasciato nessuna impressione particolare. Un posto senza infamia e senza lode. Il cibo era discreto ma nulla che giustifichi i prezzi piuttosto pompati rispetto alle porzioni ricevute. Il coperto è davvero spropositato (7€ per due persone!), e il servizio non si è distinto né per gentilezza né per attenzione. 60€ per due grigliate di pesce che erano nella norma, 3,50€ per una bottiglia d’acqua da 75cl, e 4€ per un semplice cannolo: tutto risulta sopra le righe per ciò che viene effettivamente offerto. In zona ci sono decisamente alternative migliori, sia come qualità che come prezzi. Non lo sconsiglio in modo assoluto, ma non ci tornerei.

07/08/2025: We ordered a rotisserie and it was delivered on time, piping hot, as if freshly made. We weren't thrilled with the products we ordered, despite having been rated excellent by Gambero Rosso. The filling for the pidoni, in particular, was so poorly placed that depending on the bite, we could have ordered just pasta, just ham/vegetables, or just mozzarella. It must be said, however, that there were generous quantities. The dough isn't very crumbly, and ours tended towards undercooked. The arancini are forgettable. The place is really ugly... P.S. It wouldn't be a bad habit to return a greeting and show attention to customers when they enter your establishment, especially if you're sitting on the floor in front of the entrance smoking a cigarette.

07/07/2025: Excellent choice and variety of pythons, a little complicated to find parking because it is right in the center, better to go by scooter to collect the culinary delights, then at the table they eat as if there was no tomorrow!

18/06/2025: The first time I ordered home delivery, the owner asked me for the address and I told her but she asked me to repeat it a first, second, third time... I started to smile and she hung up on me, I called back and she told me she didn't want to be made fun of (but she wanted it repeated because in the meantime she was talking to other customers and that's certainly not polite). A second time I called for a home delivery on Saturday, it was 7pm and I asked for 8pm, can she even deliver at 7:45pm? Otherwise, nothing because I understand that on Saturdays there's a long wait, she said yes, yes of course. At 9pm, still nothing, I called and she made an excuse about the delivery guy who hadn't arrived, the pizza arrived at 10pm cold and without being notified. Third time, I called (she kept me on the phone for more than 5 minutes while she talked to other customers, that's their politeness) and I asked if I'd come to pick it up, she had 2 pizzas ready for me, yes, I'll make them right away (I waited 50 minutes). When they are ready I ask, while I take out the notes, how much do I pay and she says don't you pay with card? I answer no cash and she insists no with card and I no cash and she but I have no change, so I point out to her that in addition to being absurd she could have told me before instead of making me wait 50 minutes and her legendary answer is but now everyone pays with card, I tell her that then she has someone else pay with card because I don't take them. I must say that the pizzas are good even if a little small and the prices are average but education 0 and for that is the most important thing, reason why I will not return.

14/05/2025: One of the best pizzerias in the area tried so far, the pizzas are good and not heavy, the prices are average. The service was quite punctual even though it was a weekend.

30/07/2025: Il personale è disponibile e molto cortese.Ottimi gli antipasti,i primi piatti ed anche i secondi.Altrettanto buona la pizza e anche i cocktail...consiglio vivamente lo spritz al limoncello.Prezzi giusti.Se vai a Favignana per forza devi andare al Nautilus.Complimenti ad Alessandro!!!

26/07/2025: Servizio pessimo! 4 thè freddi serviti a mano senza vassoio, "abbandonati" sul tavolo senza bicchieri e, quando li abbiamo chiesti, ci hanno portato quelli di plastica, per la modica cifra di 5 euro cad. uno. Assurdo! Cameriere molto cupo. Mai più!

13/08/2025: Everything was great! Deducting one star only because the food selection is a bit limited (very few pasta dishes and no meat dishes with sauce), but what's available tastes great, it's very cozy, and the tables aren't too close together. The service was extremely fast and friendly.

11/08/2025: This is a difficult one to review, as the food we ordered was hot and tasty. It didn’t take long to arrive and the staff were happy to serve me. However, the toilets here are absolutely terrible. The keypad doesn’t work, so anyone can use it. The toilets are dirty, broken, there wasn’t any soap and the sanitizer was empty. It made me feel physically sick in there! This McDonald’s needs these toilets refurbished and also more staff to clean them. There was barely anyone cleaning tables whilst we were there, I had to find a wet cloth myself to clean the table outside. There are station toilets nearby, which I believe have been newly refurbished- but they are chargeable. Could McDonald’s share these toilets instead ? Come on McDonalds, you can do better.

06/08/2025: First, the ordering kiosk wouldn’t process payments, forcing us to pay in cash at the counter. Then, the food took way too long to prepare—even though there were barely any orders (less than five) at the time. It should’ve taken 5–10 minutes max, but after waiting with no food, we had to ask the staff, and only then did the kitchen start making our order. We waited over 10 minutes, which made us miss our train and completely ruined our plans. Terrible service! Avoid this place if you’re in a hurry!
