19/08/2025: The best granita we've had in all of Sicily. We were on vacation for 15 days and ordered granita every day throughout the island. Without a doubt, we had the best here. The pistachio and almond flavors were exquisite, and the chocolate granita was also very special. The brioche was also delicious. Highly recommended.

11/06/2025: I had high expectations considering the exorbitant amount I spent on this sugar paste cake. It looked nice, but as soon as we cut it… total disappointment! Terrible flavor, strange consistency, almost inedible sweetness as if the cream were a bar of butter. A real disaster, especially considering how much I paid for it. Never again!!!

03/05/2025: Absolutely zero. They don't respect anything that is asked of them. I wonder how they are not ashamed of delivering certain products. Beyond the arrogance and rudeness that can be felt inside the place. NEVER AGAIN. A total DISAPPOINTMENT.

27/04/2025: I saw one of Messina's historic restaurants as a child and several years have passed, the food is quite good, yesterday I tasted the pasta with swordfish bottarga which was good, the other dishes were also satisfactory, prices were normal for ganzirri and unlike other places the kitchen was still open even though it was almost midnight. It has closed permanently, update yourself

03/05/2025: Long waiting times, poor service, Aperolspritz watery and served in plastic cups. There were also old rubbery chips - not Italian like at all! Disappointing. It's a shame because there was a wonderful sunset in the evening

03/05/2025: Good pastries of all types, they lack a bit of education including the owner who luckily often stays hidden in the laboratory.

11/02/2025: Apart from the owner who has to take a course in good manners, it is unfortunate that with his character imbalances he sometimes leaves the laboratory, he should stay hidden and only do his job as a pastry chef. Somehow the shop assistants, despite their environmental difficulties, are a little more polite. However, the desserts are good even if the quality is lower than a few years ago.

15/06/2025: Me and my girlfriend (both British) came here the other day and it’s now our favorite spot in Agrigento, the food is both super affordable and surprisingly delicious, and the atmosphere is a perfect, cosy very family orientated environment for couples and families. We will most definitely be coming here again. (My girlfriend is gluten free, and they specially made her a gluten free version of the pizza she wanted) and do so for all guests.

16/06/2025: It does exactly what you need it to do. Coffee, cold drink and local snacks. Staff friendly but not over the top. Discreet. Quiet. Perfect for those wanting to just people watch.

16/04/2025: Great little bar, right in town, along the winding streets up to the top of Salemi. Good food options and lovely service. We got pasta and paninis, as well as drinks and snacks. It was a great place to stop during our Sicily Divide bike ride.

20/08/2025: A restaurant just steps from the central square where tranquility, kindness, and friendliness reign supreme. Wonderful quality. We ordered an exceptional shrimp carpaccio (a thoughtful touch I really appreciated: the lady taking our order made sure the chef had the right shrimp before sending our order forward). The Sicilian caponata was fabulous, as were the grilled tuna and the busiate (pasta) with Trapani pesto. The bread made by the chef was delicious! Go there, you'll be satisfied!!! As for the bill... excellent!

17/08/2025: I had dinner at Tavernetta del Gusto for the first time. We had mussel soup, excellent, but the croutons were oily because they were fried, not baked. I chose a first course from the menu they brought, but it wasn't available. We had chosen another, but nothing... In the end, we chose seafood risotto, which, because it was written, was supposed to be for two. Bringing a menu and then not having what's written isn't good; you might as well just say what you have. Oh well... I had a mixed fried calamari and shrimp, but it was too oily. Honestly, I'll think twice before going back.

01/06/2025: We went on holiday to Modica, I asked where to eat a nice crepes and they recommended Da Giorgio. I only found foreigners working there, and honestly as a Modican I don't go to these places.

05/09/2025: As French people who live in Valguarnera, we ordered pizzas and trusted the shopkeepers, but in the end, instead of paying 24.50 euros, they charged us 27 euros. It was only after we got home that I realized the mistake. I don't think that's very businesslike at all. Apart from this inconvenience, the pizzas are good.

02/08/2025: Very disappointed by our visit to this restaurant in Valguarnera. The wait between ordering and the arrival of the food was extremely long (probably due to a lack of organization: only one waitress for several tables). The plates were greasy, the glasses visibly unclean, and the cutlery was also dirty. Despite our complaint, the same cutlery was returned to our table, which is unacceptable for a public establishment. A dish was left out of our order, and no gesture was offered. Added to this was a €2 charge for the use of cutlery – even under these conditions. We will not be returning. It's nothing like the nearby Il Pepperoncino pizzeria, which offers far superior service and hygiene.

12/06/2025: Good pizza.Friendly service.The restaurant was recommended to us,over several others in the town,and it proved to be right.We arrived as they opened and got a table straight away. Book in advance if you plan to go at peak times

04/08/2025: Rude staff. After we'd eaten, we asked to use the restroom. We were allowed to, but they began knocking insistently and forcefully, then accused us of being rude and told us we shouldn't have used the restroom.
