12/08/2025: A sweet and surprising discovery! I entered this gelateria intending to simply have gelato, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available, including a delicious crepe that caught my eye! The crepe was warm, soft, and incredibly delicious, with a cinnamon and Smurf flavor that made my mouth water. The presentation was exquisite, and the service was friendly and efficient. The staff was very friendly and helped me choose the perfect filling for my crepe. The place was clean and tidy, with a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. In short, I was really satisfied with my experience at this gelateria and highly recommend trying their crepes! I'll definitely be back again to try other delicacies. 05/07/2025: I have known this ice cream shop since I was a child...it has been there for a lifetime with a different commercial name now. I still remember when they made pipes filled with ice cream of various colors that I was crazy about. I remember that it was an institution in the area. Unfortunately, it has changed a lot over time. I don't find it expensive at all compared to other ice cream shops but the quality of the product has certainly suffered over the years. I also noticed (as per other reviews read) a bit of superficiality in the management of cleaning, especially in the spaces in front of the bar occupied by tables. Here...it would be a good idea to pay more attention to both the cleaning of chairs and tables, and that of the flooring....(given that it should be the customers' responsibility to maintain order and decorum even in a public place...but this is a separate discussion unfortunately....). I think we can work on the quality of the ice cream....

21/07/2025: Pizzeria in a slightly dated old house, probably in need of renovation. The terrace overlooking the Aeolian Islands is beautiful, but it's noisy because it borders the main road, with roaring motorcycles... impossible to talk. The pizza is average, perhaps a bit too large.

27/08/2025: 14 Galicians sipping gelato and coffee, having a blast. The lemon slush was delicious. The waiter was super friendly and pleasant. Of course, if I asked for chocolate and lemon ice cream... he'd give you a weird look. And he'd tease you...

16/08/2025: The owner's arrogance has gone beyond all limits. I called to order a gluten-free ice cream log and spoke to the owner. I went to pick it up yesterday, but they didn't do anything. The owner made excuses, telling me he realized it was ice cream that needed to be picked up on the spot. Then I reminded him that he himself had suggested I top the log with whipped cream and strawberries. What bothered me most was his normality; he didn't even ask me once that he was sorry. You've lost a customer.

19/08/2025: They think that tourists are people to be fleeced and unfortunately they have succeeded, even though grilled chicken and a large tub of chips cost 67.00 euros.

26/08/2025: The wait was too long, and the place was practically empty. We only ordered two pasta dishes; one was soaked in oil and the other in vinegar, so much so that we couldn't even eat it!

23/08/2025: Years ago, I had a wonderful meal at Rais, but this year, unfortunately, I was disappointed. The peppered mussels were inedible: overcooked and reheated, tough as rubber. The pasta with pistachios and shrimp, on the other hand, was overly sweet and unpleasant. The service was courteous, but the quality of the dishes isn't what it used to be. A real shame.

21/08/2025: I ordered takeout pizzas; I was the first one of the evening, and I waited 30 minutes despite the staff being very friendly. The pizzas are thin and dry, so the base is very firm. The toppings are average, but the quantity is limited. The place is simple, but well-kept and clean.

08/06/2025: Piccola rosticceria al centro di Calascibetta. Accoglienza scarsa il titolare è molto particolare ma verrete trascinati dentro dal buon odore @! Arancini superlativi direi meglio che in tanti altri posti della Sicilia ,taormina Catania Siracusa ecc ecc. Anche la pizza vi lascerà di stucco,delicata,impasto con lievitazione 48 ore leggera come una nuvola peccato i tempi di attesa . Lui ogni tanto lo sentirete urlare fa parte del suo status ma appena assagerete i suoi arancini passa tutto... Noi persone percorriamo 90 km per mangiarli ma ne vale la pena! Chef SQ

29/03/2025: Good diner, but very poor customer service. From a pan of pizza you can't choose the piece you want but you have to take the one the clerk decides and the size you want because they are cut badly. You will be served the coldest arancino or pizza and not the freshly baked and hot one. I find the price of "special" arancini/pizzas excessive.

12/08/2025: I'd been to this place once before, at the old location, and I didn't have a chance to write a proper review. I wanted to catch up this morning, but after ordering, we waited about 20 minutes and asked about our order. They told us it was being processed, but then there was nothing. Our order never arrived because we were probably systematically passed over by the gentleman's (if you can call him that) acquaintances who were taking reservations. After we got up and told him we were leaving because such a wait was unbearable, he even had the good sense to laugh in our faces.

03/08/2025: Rude staff... we came in at 11:20 PM and they rudely told us they were about to close (closing time is 12:00 AM). As soon as we entered, they arrogantly made it clear we weren't welcome!! We left and they lost our takings for 14 ice creams... just to let the owner know, who I imagine wasn't there.

14/06/2025: The best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Delicious airy dough, very large size and delicious toppings. Really what you're looking for in a pizza. In addition, it was also cozy sitting and good service. Definitely recommended!

12/05/2025: Restaurant sieht schön aus. Obwohl es genügend Platz im Saal gibt, bekommen wir einen Tisch direkt beim Eingang. Wirt wirkt ungepflegt und unpassend in Schlabberhose gekleidet. Essen sehr salzig.

12/03/2025: We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I don't understand it at all. The service was bored and disinterested; Sicilian specialties were basically out of stock. A wet plate with wet salt packets arrived at the table without comment, along with bread and half a bottle of oil. I would have liked to order olives and a piece of pecorino, as the bread was fresh and delicious. The waiter didn't even look at us, even though we were the only guests, along with two others. A simple insalata mista for €10 consisted of a shallow dessert plate, just as shallowly filled. On top, some iceberg lettuce and some radiccio. The main course, touristy calamari fritti, was OK, but overpriced for its quantity and simplicity. It's a shame; with more interest in the customer, some of these mistakes could have been overlooked. And we would have gladly paid extra for the dolce vita, if we had had the money!
