13/07/2025: We booked for Friday evening, July 11th, they reserved a table for us, and when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. Luckily, there's a fishmonger next door. The restaurant was closed, so we decided to call back. I wondered if they said the place was closed. What was the problem? I didn't waste time calling back.

27/03/2025: Excellent quality of meat, vast assortment of fine meats, excellent service, fair bill, I will definitely return.

18/08/2025: Delicious ice cream with a nice spongato. The pistachio flavor is very enjoyable, but the brioche wasn't the best.

13/08/2025: We had breakfast here with granita and brioche: the staff were very kind, and the brioche that accompanied the granita was delicious, but I can't rate this one: I asked for almonds with cream, and they served me a glass of cream with a spoonful of granita (but by the time I got there, it was already almond milk). The bathroom definitely needs updating.

18/08/2025: I go there every summer when I come for holidays, I have known the place for years, always excellent food and also the service, last night I went back, food a bit poor, the quality is no longer the best as it once was, I can say mediocre no more, waiters are all different than in other years but they are truly awful 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️, I'm sorry that the place is being lost like this I hope they recover because it is worth a lot or at least until a few years ago.... I don't know if I will return and I wouldn't even recommend it at the moment!

17/07/2025: We went specifically to eat gluten-free food, having traveled almost all the way across the city in the heat. I'd read excellent reviews, so I booked on a weekday. The wait was incredibly long! There were three of us, and we waited over an hour for three sandwiches! The waitress even apologized, but the management of the kitchen staff (there were four of them) wasn't up to par with the orders we received (they also do takeout, and it was chaotic). We also wanted to try the spleen sandwich, but it wasn't available. Oh well... let's move on. We ate our three sandwiches and left. The quality of the food was quite good, but the long and unacceptable wait, despite the limited number of tables inside, made us nervous. The end.

28/03/2025: We ordered takeaway, the spicy kebab piadina not requested, the potatoes with charred cheddar on top and a "Mortazza" sandwich with mortadella from the discount store and with the inedible sour stracciatella. Once called for a new sandwich he made us pay the difference. Truly horrible, we were customers but we will not eat in this place again...

25/08/2025: The location is great, as it's in a quiet, pretty square. The food was average, especially the lasagna, which had no flavor and was just pasta with barely any meat inside. The pizzas were edible, but we definitely won't be back. They also charge €3 per person for a cover, which consisted of a few pieces of bread and olive oil.

22/08/2025: Beautiful cuisine We had a great time - the bruschetta was very good, the beef tartare was also great, and the grilled octopus was great!

24/06/2025: Abbiamo fatto un ottimo pranzo, con antipasti tipici e due ottimi tipi pasta! In particolare la pasta con ragù di cinghiale davvero eccellente! Personale super gentile e accogliente! Eravamo 20 persone e ci siamo trovati molto bene Davvero consigliato

14/06/2025: Purtroppo devo condividere altri giudizi negativi, cocktail di gamberi 15€ per una manciata di gamberi minuscoli scongelati, pasta allo scoglio discreta, buona la cottura, purtroppo tutte le vongole erano senza il frutto, perché metterle nel piatto? Pesce spada, 1 porzione discreta, taglio medio, l'altra tagliata tipo prosciutto e completamente secca, cucinate con lo stesso tempo dalla piastra. Buone le verdure grigliate, il prezzo pagato non giustifica la qualità. Bella la location, tutto il resto è stata una delusione. Non pubblichiamo la fotografia del pesce spada, mi pare di averlo già descritto.

23/07/2025: I can't rate the food because the rudeness of the staff literally made us run away. We made a reservation for 10:20 PM for dinner with a friend and our children, ages 14, 12, and 10. As soon as we arrived, a short, skinny man welcomed us onto the terrace and, seeing the kids, told us there was no table reserved in my name. Whoa! I showed him the phone number I called from and he confirmed it was the restaurant's number. He told us he'd find a table for us anyway, but in a very annoyed tone and without me even asking, he insisted on pointing out that the restaurant doesn't only serve first courses. "You understand me, ma'am, we don't only serve first courses here"!! 😳. To be honest, our intention was to have dinner and order both first courses, second courses, and appetizers depending on each person's tastes. I don't understand why this nice gentleman "put his hands up"! I kept repeating that I didn't understand his premise, and he insisted on his point. Very annoyed, I turned away and we left, as I don't intend to sit where I find unnecessary rudeness and rudeness. I wanted to tell the nice gentleman that my friend and I, as adults, would probably eat less, but the kids would have had enough if they didn't just choose the first courses... quite the opposite.

20/08/2025: I hadn't been there in several years. The seafood appetizer was unremarkable and much smaller than it was a few years ago, with the only treat being the cuttlefish meatball in tomato sauce. The friendly service leaves much to be desired. The fried calamari was good.

10/09/2025: I bought their imitation Pandoro brioche that they advertise so much on social media (I actually bought three, which I threw in the trash; they were impossible to eat). Unfortunately, I have to say they use discount store spreads, which are of very low quality—the classic spreads with a horrible taste. They don't use quality products like Ferrero or others. I appreciate the effort, but low-quality ingredients are simply unacceptable. If I want a brioche with discount store spread, I don't need an artisanal pastry shop.

15/05/2025: Great place to bring an infant or children as a tourist. Has air conditioning and bathroom. Incredibly nice staff and very clean! We used Google translate to help as their English and Spanish is limited. We got a small pizza, ham and cheese pastry, and Nutella croissant, and 2 lattes — the coffee was so great we got 2 more to go (total for everything was 11.30 Euro, a great deal — best coffee we’ve had on our Italian trip so far - they sell Gelato as well. Would come back! It is a bit of an uphill walk from the port to get up there - many nice bars and local restaurants as it is near the college.

09/02/2025: If you’re not Italian, please do not use this place. Apparently this place is only for Italians and if any other nationality people walks in the road, they’ll just serve you. It’s not they won’t serve you, but they just don’t care almost all like that.
