Delicious food, generous portions, and good wine by the glass. The staff is friendly and humorous—they even served us half an hour after closing time because we looked completely famished after a long hike.

Fantastic experience. The lady and owner was very helpful. She recommended dishes to us, and I must say we ate deliciously, all featuring tuna caught by them—her husband, in particular, is a fisherman. The food was incredibly fresh, with flavors that have almost disappeared. I highly recommend it.

The "Il Pirata" restaurant is a wonderfully beautiful place, even as a location. The owners are very kind, the fish is very fresh, cooked to perfection and delicious, the staff is very kind and helpful, truly happy and satisfied with everything. I recommend it to all tourists who come to visit the splendid island of Marettimo, which in itself is a fairytale place, and if you come here, you cannot miss coming to eat at this fantastic place for lunch or dinner...

We've been here twice with Ewa from Weltweit Wandern and our group! The food was delicious and the fish was incredibly fresh! Prices are absolutely reasonable for Italy – we have nothing but positive things to say!

We've been to this restaurant several times since we were on the island for a few days, and we absolutely recommend it for its excellent fresh fish (the owner is a fisherman). You eat what you catch!
The amberjack carpaccio was superb, like everything else we ate.
The service was perfect, especially the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner-waitress.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
