The location is beautiful, with a stunning view. The staff is attentive, and the prices are quite reasonable. The pizzas are excellent, and the restaurant is more than good. It's uncomfortable when it's hot, as the space (under a large awning) is poorly ventilated.

A fantastic place right in the small village of San Gregorio di Capo d'Orlando. The freshest fish is cooked with passion by chef Santino and served with warmth by owner Matteo. It goes without saying that every time we're in the area, eating at Matteo's is a must for the exquisite food and the kindness of Matteo and his entire staff. And of course, we must mention pizza chef Ciccio, who turns out fabulous, enormous pizzas. A highly recommended restaurant and pizzeria.

14/10/2025: We went to La Lupara for an evening meal. We had the grilled squid and grilled prawns, plus a couple of cannoli and a few beers. The owners are lovely people and offer great food and company. The restaurant was full of locals, with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit 😊😊👏👏
