26/09/2025: September 12, 2025, will forever be etched in our hearts as the most beautiful day of our lives... and we also owe all of this to Castello Pensabene, which gave us a magical and unforgettable experience. Our outdoor ceremony, under a fairytale starry sky, was enchanting. Every detail was taken care of with love and professionalism, creating a romantic and timeless atmosphere. The staff was simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, always present but never intrusive. The food exceeded every expectation—everyone showered us with compliments! A huge thank you goes to Dario and Alessandro, two extraordinary people who accompanied us with rare dedication. Their precision, availability, and kindness were essential to making everything we dreamed of come true. Without them, nothing would have been so perfect. We wanted to add a personal touch by making the wedding cake ourselves, which was greeted with enthusiasm and so much affection. And to conclude the evening, stratospheric fireworks lit up the sky and our hearts. Castello Pensabene is more than just a wonderful location: it's a place where you feel welcomed, listened to, and pampered. 09/11/2025: Located in the Capo market, in Piazzetta Carini, I had excellent spaghetti with clams. You can eat both inside and outside. The quality of the dishes and the attentive service helped make my short stay in Palermo memorable.

19/10/2025: Excellent in every way! Super fast service! We basically ordered, and after 5-10 minutes the pizzas arrived. Very kind staff and a welcoming and clean place. Excellent prices! Highly recommended!!!

20/08/2025: I bought 5 lemon granitas even though there was nothing granita about them with 3 brioches worse than those in the supermarket, hard and definitely not fresh, paying a total of €16.50. I strongly advise against eating the granita and brioche in this bar.

19/10/2025: I can confirm the five-star rating, everything tasted good and delicious. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The appetizers were delicious; the pasta with pumpkin and the mushroom lasagna were excellent; the meat main course was delicious. If there are five of you, I recommend no more than four menus because the food is plentiful and the price is very reasonable.

17/09/2025: The pasta was really tasty perfectly al dente, with a nice balanced sauce and well-cooked meat. The flavor stayed on my tongue even after finishing. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, good table setting, and the staff were very friendly and never rushed me. Overall a great experience!

31/10/2025: This restaurant was really good a few years ago, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, the food was extremely bad; it has nothing to do with the food it used to be. We've been to many restaurants, but this is by far the worst one for miles around. The dishes looked very unappetizing and were tasteless. The wine was terrible. The man who served us initially was very rude and clearly hated his job. He slammed the water and the empty bottles of oil and vinegar down on the table. The woman who served us afterward, however, was very nice. I would never go to this restaurant again. It's also ridiculously overpriced now. Stay away from this place. Unfortunately, it was all very disappointing!

30/10/2025: Four of us ate there. Steak, grilled prawns in cognac, vegetables, potatoes, and pasta. A complete disaster. Because the restaurant is always full, you'd think it must be good. Beware!!! Tourist trap!!!

13/11/2025: We had Pasta alla Norma with Pasta Fresca and Ricotta Salata on top – absolutely delicious!! We were there two years ago and the quality is still just as high-end/meraviglioso!! It made our visit to Ragusa truly unforgettable – highly recommended!!

04/11/2025: A beautiful Sicilian trattoria with insanely delicious seafood and a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The owner is very helpful, serving, greeting, and bidding farewell to guests himself.

04/11/2025: Absolutely avoid this place, it's a tourist trap!!! What a rip-off at the end of our trip to Sicily! We were with friends and ordered four Spritz cocktails with a large plate of grilled fish as an appetizer! We had this dish several times during our week in Sicily (we usually budgeted 15 to 20 Euros each time). What a nasty surprise to find that this dish for four cost 80 Euros!! What a disgrace!! After this bad experience, we checked the reviews, which are all too common.

01/05/2025: Siamo andati perché cercavo un buon cus cus e fidandomi delle recensioni ho scelto di andare lì. E devo dire che le recensioni rispecchiano perfettamente tutto. Proprietario gentilissimo ci ha accolti, illustrato e consigliato tra i vari tipi di piatti. Il mio cus cus vegetariano delicato e buonissimo mio marito ha preso il royal speziato e impegnativo. Entrambi molto buoni, accompagnati da un calice di vino ottimo e per finire il dessert. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, ambiente familiare e personale attento. Abbiamo già prenotato per sabato sera… Lo consiglio vivamente
