22/09/2025: One of the best takeout pizzerias in Catania: consistently excellent dough and top-quality toppings. Their scacciate and seasoned bread are also delicious. Highly recommended!

06/05/2025: Takeaway pizza arrived almost an hour late despite having asked for confirmation of the time several times. Furthermore, it was also really cold because the deliveryman, not using Maps, couldn't find the way to my house even though I had chosen that pizzeria due to its proximity.

12/08/2025: I have been going there for years, the ice cream and granita are among the best in Sicily, I especially recommend the pistachio and nougat ice cream, magical.

12/10/2025: I went in to buy something and from the moment I set foot in this store I felt uncomfortable. They treated me with a very bad face and I think they followed me around the store.

28/08/2025: We had lunch here. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. If you're looking to save money in Ortigia, this is the place to go.

18/10/2025: We (two people) stayed here for two nights in mid-October and found everything wonderfully relaxed, spacious, very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was particularly delicious and varied by Italian standards. The owner offered us a freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, which tasted particularly good. Otherwise, there was everything our heart could desire. The bread was particularly good, as were the cornetti. We don't eat sausage in the morning, but we enjoy homemade jam, cheese, ricotta, eggs, etc. The pool was already closed, but it was reopened especially for us. We were able to have breakfast whenever we wanted. Dinner was simple Sicilian cuisine. In nearby Riposta, we found an excellent osteria one evening that conjured up exceptionally delicious food. This agriturismo was a highlight of our almost three-week trip to Sicily. The location is ideally close to Mount Etna, Catania, and Taormina, as well as the sea.

17/10/2025: We spent 4 nights here. It wasn't our first time. The welcome and service are always top-notch. We eat Sicilian and seasonal specialties. The pomegranate juice, freshly squeezed from freshly picked fruit, is delicious. For me, it's a must-visit.

14/08/2025: A simple place with a welcoming atmosphere, ample parking and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly but not very attentive. The sandwiches are tasty, but the portions aren't particularly large. Gluten-free options are available. The prices are average, perhaps a little higher.

05/10/2025: Here you can truly enjoy gelato worthy of the name. Or, as they say in Palermo, "as it should be." Add to that the splendid sea view and the friendly staff...

07/09/2025: Calling this place a pizzeria is going too far! I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was terrible! The tomato sauce (probably passata) was all watered down and sweet, not to mention the sugar. The mozzarella was acceptable, but the pizza was very heavy... rubbery. The swordfish caponata was the worst I've ever had during my entire stay in Palermo... I think it contained something similar to fish fingers... well-known frozen products.

12/01/2025: Excellent bar, I recommend it for lunch as they make home deliveries at an affordable price.

28/12/2024: Great bar in the suburbs, quick breakfasts and lunches with excellent cuisine that surprised me because it produces a daily menu of good quality with simple and popular dishes of Sicilian and local cuisine. It is no coincidence that it is very popular with traffic police, police, firefighters from the nearby barracks, and many citizens who use a takeaway service of hot food, ready meals of first and second courses, pastries. Shared parking but nearby it is possible to park easily.

02/10/2025: We stayed here with our campervan. The site is fairly flat. 20 euros with electricity and the possibility of taking some water, absolutely OK. Quiet, safe and with a great view of the vineyards and Etna! The Circumetnea stop is just a stone's throw away. The restaurant is very good right next door.

18/09/2025: Extremely overpriced. No service, no explanations, nothing related with wine. The room is very basic and not clean. They say they have a kitchen but it's only 1 pot and you will need to eat with plastic knifes. Swimming pool looked horrible. Would not recommend

17/10/2025: Excellent bar before sealing to the Eolian Island. The granita is a must. You have to eat it. This is the typical sicilian breakfast. Try any flavours, they are all good. The place is a bit chaotic; therefore, I advise you to not wait your turn before ordering. The best solution is to approach the bar and ask.

15/10/2025: Stopped here before taking a ferry. Had a good coffee and cold draught beers (they have lots of beverages available). They have loads of sweet and savoury pastries on show, perfect portable food to takeaway if you don’t have time to eat. It’s also easy to point to items should you not speak Italian! We sat outside (so menu costs a tiny bit more for table service) as was nice to sit and room for suitcases. Really lovely waitress, appreciated her good English. I liked the retro interior, please never change it :) Lots of Italians drinking at the bar so must be good coffee. The perfect pit stop.

08/11/2025: As you can see on the picture, the food was okay. Like convenient pizza, where the "buffalo mozzarella" suspiciously tasted like normal mozzarella. That's all with the good things. First of all the service came to receive our order. That was the only word they talked to us the whole visit. No asking for anything more, no oil, no salt, no pepper. Nothing. What they did was: they were reordering tables behind us with +4 people instead of caring for us. The moment I finished my last bite and tried to wipe my mouth the waitress already took away my plate and everything else on our table, so we took that as a gentle sign to leave. The worst thing was that we had to pay 3€ p.P. for the service (isn't that funny?). When I asked for what the 6€ were, they were answering: for fork and knife and so on. I woud really advice everyone who wants a real Italian/Sicilian restaurant experience, to visit any other place around there, since we were not getting disappointed anywhere else. Sorry but this was horrible

06/11/2025: Completely forgot we were even sitting there and took forever to take our order. Took about 45 minutes to get our bruschetta out and that’s after we asked where our food was. People who sat before us got their food before we did and we were a party of 2. The food was okay. The calzone was burnt.

01/10/2025: A small sandwich shop and more, with very fast service. From sandwiches to pasta, both ready-made and express, spleen bread, panelle, croquettes, and much more... all very good and reasonably priced. Dining in is also available.
