14/09/2025: Excellent pizza! We booked a table for two adults and a child since it was Sunday. The pizza was really good, the tomato mix made the difference.

03/09/2025: Hosted as a pizzeria, the cooking is top-notch and the toppings are rich and high-quality. Regarding the dough, I noticed that it isn't stable: one day it was Neapolitan-style, nice and thick and soft, and the next day it was thinner and tougher to cut. You can also find lactose-free mozzarella, with a price difference I'm not used to paying—a whopping €2.50! All in all, it's still an excellent pizzeria, even if the prices are a little above the local average.

01/09/2025: A charming place in a modern and fresh literary setting! In the morning, come for the excellent granita and brioche, while in the evening you can enjoy a pleasant aperitif on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Strait of Messina.

07/09/2025: Definitely worth a try. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knows how to recommend, yet isn't intrusive and sometimes even very friendly. The food is excellent, and the garden is welcoming and has a lovely atmosphere.

07/10/2025: Stranded on the island for another day due to rough seas, we decide to eat with Signora Maria at the Hierà restaurant. We read the reviews and looked at photos of the dishes online, but it seems like the most authentic place on the island. It really is!! Beautiful!! The delightful, welcoming, and passionate lady is passionate about her work and her cooking. She takes care of every detail and prepares everything herself. She narrates her dishes and the history of the island through that of her family. It's not your typical restaurant dinner, but a true family welcome! We highly recommend it!!!

26/09/2025: What a delightful surprise this place is. By quite a distance the best tasting food on Marettimo, served in an incredibly authentic homemade style. The lovely lady who runs the place is an absolute joy. The prices are in the higher side on the island and the portions are not huge, but it all feels appropriate given the flavours. Don’t expect to be rushed here - it’s a place to go, relax, take in some gorgeous local ingredients (rarely would I recommend to order for each course in Italy given the prices - but this is one of those places where it’s a must). The calamari with Nero d'Avola and myrtle is a strong recommendation - one of the most unique flavours I’ve ever tasted.

29/08/2025: All new, a place with a modern look, where you can eat the best pizzas in the area. Excellent restaurant and service, I recommend it because the pizza is really digestible.

27/04/2025: The pastas and pizzas are good but very slow service (allow around 2 hours) even though we were the only table when the restaurant opened

08/09/2025: This evening we dined at this welcoming restaurant, meticulously prepared down to the smallest detail, where the passion for meat is evident from the first moment. We started with an entrecôte deglazed with Worcestershire sauce and rye whiskey, which proved to be a winning choice. The meat was tender, well-cooked, and flavorful. It literally melted in your mouth, leaving a delicious taste. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dry-aged Argentinean Wagyu T-bone. It was, hands down, the best meat we've ever tasted: a revelation. The rareness was simply perfect, and the flavor was exceptional. A true sensory experience that exceeded all expectations. Another aspect that impressed us was the owners' attentiveness. They asked us several times if we were satisfied and made sure everything was to our liking. A gesture that demonstrates care and professionalism. To conclude the dinner, we sampled the desserts, which were also excellent, and were very satisfied with the bill. Considering the quality of the meat and the impeccable service, the price was absolutely justified. Furthermore, having taken advantage of a 50% discount coupon made the evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely return to try other specialties.

07/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant nestled in a charming alleyway, finally given a facelift! The service was precise and attentive, always there when needed. The dishes were delicious and generous; the fish was fresh and well-cooked, and even the fried fish was dry and tasty. The platter featured a good selection of cured meats and cheeses.

25/09/2025: I made an appointment for a quote for my son's baptism. I arrived at the venue and was left waiting for over half an hour for the lady. I believe she's the owner, because once she arrived, she didn't even introduce herself or apologize for the delay. Very arrogantly, she told me she'd spoken to her husband and that she couldn't book the room because it was the Christmas holidays and it was more convenient for her to work with customers. Now my question is this: What's the point of making me come all the way there? She couldn't have called and told me not to come. Poor professionalism.

16/09/2025: Always fresh fish, a variety of appetizers, and friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

05/10/2025: Beautiful and modern room. The glass-enclosed shower in the bedroom is a peculiarity; perhaps a triple room lacked privacy, even though it could be darkened with a curtain. The window was very small and very high, making it seem like it was on a lower floor or a cellar. Overall, it was adequate, but the pillows were too high and uncomfortable, and the mattresses were quite uncomfortable; I didn't sleep very well! As for the location, I have nothing to complain about; I'd say it was perfect. The service was a bit lackluster, the breakfast was limited, and the space was cramped and basic.
