03/06/2025: Nice restaurant, minimal but effective decor with exhibition of works by Sardinian artists such as Angelo Maggi. Excellent food, from pizza to fish. The owner is kind and helpful, excellent service and excellent selection of wines for those who like to accompany meals with a nice glass. I always come back with pleasure when I return to Nuoro.

18/07/2025: Slow service and disappointing food. The croissants were terrible – sometimes they’d even bring a bun and call it a croissant. There were just too many disappointing points overall. The service, in general, really wasn’t great. The only reason we kept coming back was because of the waitress Becky. She was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely the highlight of the place. We actually started calling it Becky’s Restaurant.

15/07/2025: Barracuda: a sure thing in the heart of Baia Sardinia We returned after two years, and once again, Barracuda exceeded all expectations. So much so that we returned for two nights during our vacation. The restaurant is located in the main square of Baia Sardinia, in a very central and charming location. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were extremely kind, punctual, and extremely efficient. The comfortable seating also deserves a special mention—an often overlooked detail, but one that makes the experience truly enjoyable. We started with appetizers recommended by the waitress: Fried shrimp candies to be eaten whole, crispy and delicious, accompanied by fried seaweed. Fried tuna meatballs: flavorful, light, perfect. Mussels with crostini: a classic executed to perfection. But it was with the first courses that Barracuda truly won us over: Mezze maniche with mantis shrimp and cherry tomatoes: full and balanced flavor, a memorable dish. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: a surprising summer choice, but definitely worth trying for its delicate, balanced flavors. Spaghetti with clams: simply perfect. A true Neapolitan, we've rarely tasted anything so good. A masterpiece of simplicity and technique. For our second course, we shared an octopus tentacle on pumpkin cream: haute cuisine presentation, a flavor worthy of applause. To finish on a sweet note: tiramisu, baba, and torta caprese. All excellent, especially the tiramisu, soft and delicious. The service was fast, courteous, and always attentive, with excellent value. If you're passing through Baia Sardinia or the Costa Smeralda, Il Barracuda is a must-see. Excellent cuisine, a charming location, and a perfect atmosphere. Thank you for giving us another unforgettable experience.

Ice cream shop says outside and you find 5 flavors in total and even half finished ones and who knows for how long. Too bad the place could be worth and work a lot. I will never go in again.

17/07/2025: Disastrous experience: after a long wait before being seated at our table, they finally took our order. Even though the place was far from full, we waited for 45 minutes until the waiter came back to the table and asked if we wanted dessert! They had completely forgotten about us. The pizzas arrived in a rush, with gross errors compared to the directions we'd requested. When we asked for a sorbet, we were told they didn't have any due to a refrigerator issue. We would have at least expected a discount for the inconvenience, but nothing.

07/07/2025: Sunday 6 July 2025 together with my wife we ​​decided to have dinner in this restaurant, thinking of spending a romantic evening and enjoying good food, unfortunately we soon had to change our minds: poorly prepared staff, poor fregula, sea bass covered in an inedible black olive pulp, bitter and burnt julienne courgettes "unpresentable" on the other hand my fried fish was decent even if inside there were two heads of prawns ... But without prawns. In their defense I can say that after realizing, after our complaints, the expiration of some dishes, they deducted them from the bill. Last but not least, a large dog entered from the street, wandering between the tables and approaching ours several times in the absolute, initial, indifference of the staff.

There are all the essential services: changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, bar..., games for children, umbrellas, sunbeds. The entire resort is in good condition. It would deserve 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the sea in that area doesn't give its best: it is not uncommon for it to be full of algae. So 5-star resort, 3-star sea... final rating 4 stars.

In such a situation, the least we could do would have been to close everything and turn on the air conditioning, but unfortunately this was not done, making our stay uncomfortable. As for the food, nothing special: the mussel and clam soup contained very few clams (7-8 in total), and the linguine allo scoglio were barely sufficient, without any particular notes of flavor. In short, everything was average, but with prices that were not exactly cheap. The evening ended with an infinite wait for dessert (seadas) and a filu ‘e ferru that we finally gave up on being served, paying the bill and leaving. Overall, a disappointing experience: overheated place, slow service, anonymous cuisine. Two stars are too many.
