23/11/2025: November 22, 2025, Saint Cecilia's Day, a very special day for the people of Taranto, as it marks the beginning of the Christmas holidays. There's a band, decorations, and the whole city is awash with festive color. All the merchants, as pictured, work hard to ensure it's a festive day, offering, for example, the typical traditional sweet: pettola. It's a humble sweet, small balls made from a mixture of water and flour, fried and then dipped in sugar. That's all. Well, this business, however, tries to do business, always and in any case, even on a special day like this, "thinking" to display a huge sign outside that says "pettole" and then, once inside, the unpleasant surprise: the product is for sale!!!! And they're selling it for a whopping €15/kg... I mean, FIFTEEN EUROS per KG!!!!!!! I won't add anything else...

31/08/2025: Ordered custom pizzas and pasta to go. A great welcome. Although we didn't speak Italian, the whole team was there to help us, and they were so kind. And then the tasting: a real delight. We're staying right next door for four days; it's clear this restaurant will become our go-to restaurant!

31/08/2025: A reunion with friends and family at this trattoria-pizzeria. We chose a Saturday, and the place was packed both inside and on the open veranda; I imagine there were no tables outside because the rain had recently stopped. We waited about two hours after ordering for our pizzas. The pizzas were thin and not bad at all; the prices were now in line with the market... except for the Margherita (€5), the other pizzas cost between €9 and €10. The parking lot was full, everyone parked as best they could; I was forced to park outside. We had children with us, who were able to play in the space in front of the veranda where we were sitting.

26/08/2025: Despite our late arrival, we were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome, who offered us a meal. The pastry was excellent, hot, crispy, and thin. The topping, although of high quality, could have been a little more substantial. The setting is basic. However, the staff is very helpful, attentive, and friendly. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Philippe

18/08/2025: ❌ Highly not recommended! ❌ There were 8 of us at this pizzeria, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. All the pizzas were wrong, ingredients were mixed up, and the wait was ridiculous: I received my pizza after my relatives had already finished eating. Non-existent meat: no burgers, no bombettes, no sausages… basically half the menu was unavailable. At the register, they charged us for extra drinks, and the two mini pizzas we'd asked for arrived large because "they'd run out of small dough balls." Absurd! The worst part: at the register, they rudely told my mother off and didn't even give me a receipt! Truly shameful experience. Never again! 🚫

28/10/2025: I go there often. The food is good, and the kids have fun with the inflatables. A great place to relax for adults and children alike.

20/04/2025: Bel posto immerso nella natura con ampi spazi all'aperto per i bambini. Si nota subito che i prodotti usati sono freschissimi (quello che vedete nei piatti viene direttamente dagli alberi e piante che vivono li, anche l'olio) e preparati con cura dallo chef. Consiglio vivamente, soprattutto a chi ama stare all'aperto!

12/10/2025: We arrived at 8:30 PM and ordered at around 9 PM, but it wasn't their fault; after several reminders, the pizzas arrived at 10:15 PM. Given that nine people were served two at a time, the last three after everyone else had already finished. Considering there were very few tables, the wait was interminable. It's true that it's a matter of taste, but the dough was so tough that even the toppings hadn't softened it, and I thought it was excessive.

04/09/2025: We spent one night because we liked the motorbike, what can I say, it's a shame, the view from the back is very nice, the girl at the bar is very cheerful and etc. But the hotel is very very dirty, no air conditioning, a fan with 4 inches of dust on it, dirty bathroom, bed with a post-war mattress

31/08/2025: Good evening, I'm a tour bus driver, I stopped at Solo for lunch on Sunday and was disappointed with the bill at the end of the "half-meal" meal. €21.70 for the meal: - first course - salad - water - coffee - cover charge €2.50 Not even a discount for us workers... I miss the old managers who were there for so many years, where I remember it was always full both at lunch and dinner. It's a shame... because it's a strategic location for the place. What do you think?

01/09/2025: Lovely place, very friendly staff, and high-quality wine. It's a shame the aperitif was lacking in imagination and truly meager. A platter with only one dry, thick-cut cold cut and one type of cheese that wasn't even local. Tasteless taralli, lupini beans, and olives, and a dry, oil-free dip. If there had been a classic platter with various cold cuts and cheeses, a bit of focaccia from Bari, we wouldn't have gone home hungry.

27/08/2025: I generally like this store, but I don't think it's fair to change the price on a flyer at 7 p.m. the night before, without even posting a sign at the entrance to let customers know that the prices displayed would go into effect the following day. I paid double what I expected.

27/07/2025: Last night after dinner, I went to this place for the first time with my friends. I had a great time. We sat on the sofas, which were free, and enjoyed the location. The girl who served us was very kind and helpful. I ordered a cocktail called "Viola," which was really good, and I accompanied it with cream-filled zeppole, which were also very good. We didn't particularly like the macarons, but that didn't ruin our post-dinner experience.

27/07/2025: Gentlemen....you have to take into account that, even if you sit down and don't consume anything...they make you pay for the "cover charge"... 1 euro per person...after all, someone has to pay for the roof, right?...in fact it was packed with people...ridiculous

30/09/2025: Some orders are unfulfilled. The restaurant is crowded, probably because the kitchen is overwhelmed by the number of orders. It needs to be reconsidered, hoping it was just the wrong day.

09/09/2025: Quiet, well-managed place, very kind and knowledgeable staff, the food is truly delicious!!! I absolutely recommend it!

14/08/2025: We came with great enthusiasm, especially considering the daily menu, which included an appetizer and a pizza slice, including a drink. In fact, it was only one slice of pizza, meaning one pizza for every four people, so there was no pizza slice—truly misleading advertising. The appetizer wasn't appreciated either, it was miserable. That too, and in the end, we left the table hungry and disappointed. Not to mention the wait. We arrived at 8:30 PM and received a slice of pizza at 11:30 PM. For us, the San Marzano cave adventure ends here. Highly not recommended.
