I migliori ristoranti in Taranto

02/09/2024: Stamani invece dell'adriatico abbiamo optato x lo Ionio.Esperienza positiva x quanto riguarda il mare e la spiaggia.Lo stesso non si puo dire di questa struttura.Tre piatti di orecchiette al pomodoro x la modica cifra di 31 € 50.Da sconsigliarlo certamente.

27/08/2024: Mi sono fermato con mio figlio di 6 anni, il piccolo ha visto nel banco un piatto frutta, con melone giallo, arancione e anguria, all'interno della sperlunghina c'erano dai 400 ai 600gr di frutta, io ho preso un cono medio e ci siamo seduti al tavolino, mio figlio mentre mangiava la frutta a chiesto 2 bicchieri d'acqua e la signora molto gentile glieli ha versati subito. Fin qui tutto bene anche perché il piccolo non è riuscito a consumare tutto il piatto e sempre la signora gentilissima ha sistemato la rimanenza dentro una vaschetta d'asporto. Finito il tutto ho chiesto il conto, ben 11€, 3 per il cono e 8 per la frutta, che per carità la location, la cortesia della signora, ma 8€ per un piatto frutta mi sembrano un po esagerati, da mangiare con posate di plastica. Non credo ci ritornerò più!!!

23/08/2024: A place to forget. It is only saved for the location which is actually enviable (I gave two stars because unfortunately, despite the reservation, I was not worthy of being by the sea). Let's start from the fact that I arrived in Taranto after 120 km of walking alone from Polignano a Mare. The only thing I wanted, finishing the journey in the Taranto fish market, was to have a feast of good fish. Given the location and my desire to pamper myself a bit, I book "Al Palio". Never was a worse decision: to. I arrive and, despite having booked, I am given the ugliest table on the terrace, obviously not with a sea view (unfortunately, when you travel alone, this is often the treatment you receive... just to make things worse); b. they set the table on the spot and try to do it with a crumpled non-woven tablecloth (probably already used). I rebel against this and am honored to be able to eat on a new tablecloth; c. the wine arrives, but not the water which I find myself forced to request; d. the bread only arrives because I asked for it. All other tables have it; d. the mussel sauce arrives: TENDING TO COLD. In Trieste where I come from this dish is called "scota deo" because, wow, you have to burn your fingers in the mussel broth. I send them back and they come back maybe 1°C higher. Oh well, edible and I've stopped complaining about it; And. I go to the cashier and he says "31.51, but let's make it 31". Surprised by the fact that I have never heard such meticulous figures circulated in restaurants, I asked myself why 0.01 cents. The cash register setting was wrong: the service was set at 0.01 cents. All things considered, the young lady, who we remember had been beating services of 0.01 cents all evening without having any doubts, tells me "it's 32.50". And at that point I say "but how?? Please, I point out an error and I end up losing out?!". "Okay, come on, 32" the reply. You can imagine what the hell I was up to. In short, the right strategies to satisfy our kind customers... I repeat, it is only saved for the place where the room is located. Once that's over, everything's over. For me, if I lived in Taranto, I could easily close my doors. Nice rip-off.

23/08/2024: Tonight I, my wife and my son were in this place...a wonderful place in the city of Taranto almost on the sea...where you can admire the beauties of the city and forget everything that happens in the city...a place where you eat very well and savor the Tarantine delicacies... with a pleasant service.... What can I say, a post to see before or after the visit to the castle 🏰... I recommend you see it...

17/08/2024: The service doesn't exist, too expensive, they make spritzes in larger and smaller glasses perhaps based on their preference. Rude owner. You deserve that no one comes anymore. Oh and you can't force someone to buy above 5 euros if they want to pay with POS!!!!

15/08/2024: I can't understand how anyone can give less than five stars to this lovely kiosk. Very friendly staff, tasty food and drinks.

21/04/2024: Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The cuisine is almost all homemade and also of the highest quality.

15/08/2024: 15.08.24 very negative experience... After an hour of waiting (even though there was still no one at the tables in the pine forest) the pucce we ordered arrived with the sweet salami inside without the skin having been removed, furthermore the same pucce which had not been grilled had crumbled industrial mozzarella and to complete the work the pizzelle margheriti were completely toasted underneath making them, in fact, inedible. When we arrived at the cash register to pay, we politely pointed out everything described above and the lady at the register, instead of "taking advantage of" the legitimate criticism of a paying customer and offering an apology which would certainly have been accepted, replied in response: "and What should I do?". As far as we are concerned, an experience not to be repeated.

15/08/2024: After 6 years I am forced to change my 4 star review to highlight a worsening of the pucce and pizzas that the place offers. Completely burnt pizzas and cold pucce with unheated ingredients and crumbled mozzarella for panzerotti used instead of mozzarella slices. Even the puccia with salami where the skin is not removed from the cold cuts Truly inedible. The pine tree seats are also very dirty. There are no longer problems with very long waits and now I understand why. Absolutely avoid.
