20/10/2025: Excellent product quality. But very poor service. Long waits, tables with dirty cups from people who had breakfast earlier, breakfast served twice... a little organization would make the service more efficient. But I repeat, excellent products.

04/12/2025: I had the pleasure of participating in a pizza tour at this place, and I must say it was a truly satisfying experience. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, with a selection of fresh and authentic ingredients that enrich every offering. The pizzas were all extraordinary, with light, well-leavened doughs and rich, flavorful toppings. The pizza tour was an excellent choice for those who want to try a variety of flavors, and I must admit that every pizza offered was a pleasant surprise. The very welcoming and well-kept place contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for a wonderful evening 😁

20/11/2025: It's a pizzeria I would definitely recommend. The welcome was excellent: the waiters were kind, smiling, and always available. The pizzas are truly delicious, with a light yet crispy crust. I chose the pizza tour and loved it because it gave me the opportunity to try gourmet pizzas that I'm usually afraid to order: all delicious, made with quality ingredients. The red pizzas were also excellent: the sauce was very sweet and fresh, which is anything but expected. Another thing I appreciated was that they didn't make a fuss if someone left a crust on their plate; in fact, they kept bringing new pizzas until we told them to stop. To top it off, they served us a delicious Nutella pizza, made with original Nutella. In short: everything was perfect. A truly worthwhile pizzeria.

08/11/2025: For €13.80 for lunch, I expected worse quality, but instead the fish is good and fresh, the service is fast, the staff is kind and courteous, and since it's a restaurant close to home, I've tried it twice but never rated it. I recommend it.

16/09/2025: The food is truly terrible.... Burnt spaghetti, food seemed spoiled, truly miserable dishes, the owner is rude, honestly I will never go there again.

A modern, welcoming place with attention to every detail. 💯 The endless variety on display captivates every time you enter, always varied and original with so many tempting new creations. 😋 The entire staff is very professional, honest, and friendly, always assisting customers with kindness and, above all, clarity! I've personally had the opportunity to taste several of their products over time and I think they're truly the best. 🔝 The icing on the cake is Gaetano & Marika, who, in my opinion, positively characterize the business, making it unique through their evident passion and dedication. 👏🏼 I'm sharing a photo of what I picked up for takeout this morning, as always, wonderful... 22/09/2025: Terribly disappointed... Saturday we sat down at 10:00 PM and immediately ordered croquettes, patties, and pizzas. The beers arrived immediately, the croquettes after a quarter of an hour, the patties after 20 minutes, and then everyone was dead.... At 12:10 AM we finally got our pizza and the famous fries, tired and no longer hungry.... Not to mention the service: the waiters were bored and didn't know how to respond to our requests... In short, a Saturday night to forget....

31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.

19/10/2025: Good afternoon, today I had lunch at this place and I have to say that the food was excellent, as were the savoury dishes and the various plain and chocolate cream brioches, etc. The place is very clean and welcoming and managed enthusiastically by the owners and their valid collaborators. In short, it is definitely worth trying and recommending for breakfast, aperitifs and lunches. You will certainly be more than satisfied.

21/07/2025: Extremely high prices (even takeaway... a caprese salad costs €9.50), burnt pizza, and subpar ingredients; the place is old, it feels like you've gone back 30 years... In fact, POS NOT RECEIVED: the manager of the place "recommends" (in 2025) withdrawing money from the ATM of the bank next door. SPEECHLESS

18/08/2025: I highly recommend this place; I think it's the worst restaurant in Avetrana. Today, for the first time, we went to a restaurant, paid quickly, having left everything (the first course we ordered) on our plates, and at 1:30 PM we were looking for a new place to eat. As soon as we arrived at the Perla, we politely asked if we could eat and were escorted into this large, dark dining room that gave the impression of being completely unsanitary. The lady brought us the menu, we looked at it, and when it came time to order, we opted for three different first courses. The "Lady" insistently asked us to order the same first course for convenience without giving any real reason, and we didn't take kindly to her. We decided to just order that (three tagliolini with scampi) and a bottle of still water. Once the courses arrived, we tasted them and a few forkfuls, all three of us realized it was not our day. We left almost everything on our plates and asked for the bill. We left having spent a total of 38 euros without having eaten anything. But the worst thing was that the owner didn't even care about our inconvenience. She just took our money and said goodbye!!!

17/06/2025: Tasty pizza, cooked in a wood oven, with quality ingredients. The staff is courteous and helpful, helping to create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The internal outdoor courtyard is also very nice, ideal for dining on summer evenings. Recommended!

01/10/2025: NOT RECOMMENDED. I visited this restaurant on Monday evening, September 29, 2025, coming from Taranto. When paying, I asked for fried panzerotti. The response was very rude, not at all professional, in fact VERY indifferent. He said NO because they were displayed on the tray, which he said was hot (it didn't look like it). I object to the rude way they deal with paying customers. I recommend a course in kindness and a different approach to customer relations. IN PRACTICE, THEY FELL US AWAY... THANK YOU

06/09/2025: A terrible experience, highly discouraged. The pizza itself may be decent, but it's bulky and hard to digest. The real disaster, however, is the service: we were told we'd have to wait about an hour, but instead we waited almost two hours to simply receive five Margherita pizzas. When we pointed out the absurdity of the situation, instead of apologizing or trying to make amends, the staff responded in an extremely rude and arrogant manner, even raising their voices. This is unacceptable and disrespectful behavior toward customers. In short: biblical waiting times, no respect for those paying, and treatment that can only be described as rude. Anyone reading this review would be wise to avoid this pizzeria: there are many better and more professional alternatives in Leporano.
