26/08/2025: The room was very, very dirty, with wine-stained walls (I hope!), hair in the bathroom and on the sheets. There was even a gecko keeping us company. Too bad.

21/08/2025: I'm leaving one star only because it's not possible to give 0. The apartment is extremely dirty, especially the bathroom and bedroom, where I found hair, ants, and sheets with black stains. The towels weren't very clean. The location is central, and the rooms are potentially nice, but the management needs a complete overhaul. Not recommended.

25/08/2025: There were four of us for dinner, and I have to say it was all very good. The Angus beef was really tender and juicy... exceptional bombette. See you next year!!

07/09/2025: Unfortunately, one star for this place, the only thing that's fantastic is the location! We arrived at 9:30 and, after several reminders, we managed to order. We desperately ate at 11:30 PM, sending back a completely raw and cold tuna steak, resulting in more wasted time and endless waits! Perhaps there was only one person in the kitchen, otherwise this terrible nightmare cannot be explained... what a shame!

02/09/2025: Terrace overlooking the sea, fantastic atmosphere, unparalleled courtesy and professionalism. We ate wonderfully: orecchiette, beef with potatoes, fried calamari and shrimp, everything exceptional, including dessert. I recommend booking.

31/08/2025: Excellent pizza, hard to find in Puglia because it's so cheap. The tuna steak and fish appetizer (simple but appropriate for the location) were delicious. The staff was fantastic at handling large tables with tons of requests.

05/08/2025: mi è stata raccomandata questa braceria da un paio di amici e quindi ho deciso di andarci. il menù era vasto con diverse specialità locali e carne di buona qualità, ma il problema arriva. Ho ordinato una porzione di polpette di melanzane e sul menu c’era scritto chiaramente “polpette di melanzane FRITTE”, ma sono state consegnate preparate con il sugo, ma non è neanche questo il problema più grande perché le polpette non erano fredde ma GHIACCIATE all’interno. Passiamo al dopo, ho ordinato una birra alla spina ma stranamente il signore alla cassa ne ha segnate due e anche dopo che ha ripetuto tutto l’ordine senza aver specificato se le polpette erano al sugo o fritte non ha neanche detto che aveva segnato due birre. Procedo a far notare al ragazzo che spillava le birre che ne avevamo ordinata solamente una e con tanta gentilezza e professionalità procede a ridarci il resto in contanti della birra che non avevamo pagato, subito dopo però arriva un signore che suppongo sia il titolare che è venuto a rimproverare sia me che la persona con cui stavo per non aver prestato attenzione quando il ragazzo alla cassa che prendeva gli ordini ci aveva ripetuto quello che avevamo comprato ma, come ho scritto prima, non è stata specificata nessuna seconda birra. Quindi io mi chiedo attenzione a cosa? all’incompetenza di chi sta dietro il banco? Ma va bene, andiamo avanti. Successivamente sono arrivate le tagliate, carne di buona qualità e servizio inaspettatamente rapido, ma per il resto assolutamente bocciato.

02/08/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questa braceria ieri sera, intorno alle 22:30. Abbiamo chiesto se fosse ancora possibile accomodarci e ci è stato detto di sì, ma fin da subito abbiamo percepito un atteggiamento di pressione affinché ordinassimo in fretta, perché la cucina stava per chiudere. Abbiamo ordinato tutto subito: il servizio è stato veloce, ma decisamente sgarbato. La carne era buona, ma purtroppo è stata l’unica nota positiva della serata. A metà cena è iniziato l’inaccettabile: i ventilatori sono stati tutti spenti, il telone del tetto chiuso, i cancelli parzialmente chiusi, i tavoli esterni ritirati. Il personale si è seduto ad un tavolo esterno per mangiare e pere qualcosa (come è giusto fare a fine serata quando tutti i clienti hanno lasciato il locale) lasciando la sala praticamente vuota e trasmettendo un messaggio chiaro: ce ne dovevamo andare al più presto. L’episodio peggiore, però, è avvenuto in cassa, al momento dell’ordine. Mentre decidevamo quale vino scegliere, il ragazzo ci ha detto, con un tono sarcastico: "Vi dovete sbrigare perché già vi abbiamo fatto un favore a farvi sedere!". Una frase del tutto fuori luogo, che ci ha messo a disagio fin da subito. Abbiamo scelto di restare solo per rispetto, ma quel rispetto purtroppo non ci è stato restituito in alcun modo. Capisco che fosse tardi, ma se si decide di accogliere dei clienti, è doveroso trattarli con cortesia e offrire un servizio all’altezza. In caso contrario, basta dire chiaramente che la cucina è chiusa e non far sedere più nessuno. In conclusione: servizio da rivedere, personale poco professionale. Una brutta esperienza che non ripeteremo.

31/08/2025: Beautiful place, young and helpful staff, very good coffee and ice cream! Great spot for a snack while you're at the lake or for an aperitif at sunset.

19/08/2025: A place with stellar potential, but poorly managed. No table service, average €4 packaged ice cream, unappealing sandwiches, and a lack of everything at the tables (no napkins or sugar for coffee).

26/05/2025: Quand tous les restaurants sont fermés on est content de le trouver, c'est la seule raison pour laquelle je le recommande. Le patron était sympathique, c'est déjà ça.

10/05/2025: Questa sera siamo andati a prendere l’aperitivo per cui a Pasqua abbiamo speso 19,00€ a persona e lo stesso menu ci è costato 35 € a persona, penso che questo non deponga a serietà del locale, anche perché abbiamo invitato delle persone , evidenziando il rapporto qualità prezzo che questa sera è stato disatteso. Abbiamo pagato due porzioni di tonno sott’olio ben 40€, penso che non prenderemo più in considerazione questo locale. Vergogna!!!

28/09/2025: I don't live in Taranto! I decided to order a cake from this pastry shop we've been going to for MANY years. I ordered a cake in person. With some special requests and even a photo of how we wanted it. It was supposed to be a 2.5 kg cake in the shape of a small cylinder!!!!!!!!! Three days after picking up the cake, I was told they couldn't apply the flowers I'd requested. But that's okay. Today, when I pick up the cake, I was presented with a 4 kg cake! A completely different shape than the one I requested. And the response? "Oh, there was a problem. Now I'm going to cry over the money" without even deigning to say I'm SORRY!!! No, dear sir, you're not crying over anything because I paid €70 for a cake that isn't what I asked for! I advise you to be more careful and, above all, be KIND AND RESPECTFUL to the customer who comes and pays, because you don't give anything away here. Thank you and goodbye.

22/08/2025: The mini pastries were very good, but the service from the lady at the counter was lacking in courtesy. In addition to the four small pastries, I ordered 5-6 meringues to take away, and they were dry on the inside and overcooked. Adding a coffee, I paid €9, which I believe was rounded up on purpose. Given the strong competition from so many excellent pastry shops in Taranto, I won't be returning.

17/08/2025: Ordered for home delivery at 8:45 PM. At 11:10 PM, the dough was finished (after calling twice to hurry). Terrible service.

14/07/2025: It's a shame we can't give 0 stars, because we've had several experiences that completely disappointed us. We were regular customers, but now we won't be ANYMORE! The wait was excessive; once we ordered takeout with the wrong order and the wrong receipt, they made us wait 40 minutes, after having ordered at least 2 hours in advance. Despite EVERYTHING, we gave it another chance, and what happened???? An hour and a half wait!! Outrageous! I don't think it takes an hour and a half for a baked panzerotto, I won't be back! Also, to conclude, the owner was nice (really) but the others were rude. Bye.
