Ooh I'd give it 10 stars if I could. It was a busy place, well supported and four of us added to the throng.
We dined at an outside table in gentle warm sunshine in a street full of casual diners basking in wonderful heat.
The staff were real welcoming and the sweet treats were fabulously tasty especially the yeasty rum babas - a throwback to the 1970's - when starters included prawn cocktail served in a quarter of fresh pineapple and chicken Kiev and Duck A La Orange were de rigueur. Black Forest gateaux too was all the rage. It was £1.20 for a bottle of chateauneuf du pape and under £3 for a 3 course meal.
I picked a range of sweet stuff for four of us to indulge in and indulge we did.
The coffees too were ace here and to make it even more sweet it was crackin good value too.
The rest room facilities were perfect and the WiFi fast.
