Gran Menù In Grottaglie

We really had very high expectations when we decided to come and eat in this historic restaurant. We were attracted by the name and we expected to go to a historic place where we ate typical food cooked like in the past. We were extremely disappointed. A place that seems to have remained in the 80s both in the room and above all in the menu. We opted for a mixed starter which had both land and sea dishes. Sufficient starter, with some fish dishes that seemed to be packaged. Presentation in the shells not up to date and flavors not so good. We continued with a first course each, trofie with sausage and mushrooms and orecchiette with meatballs. Sufficient flavor here too, we didn't find the flavors we expected to find. Still generous portions and average prices, but we expected to find more quality and above all more passion.

Historic trattoria in Grottaglie, unfortunately I only had the opportunity to eat one first course: orecchiette with turnip tops and fried breadcrumbs (I went back twice for this first course). As soon as possible a complete meal is a must! 😀

Excellent food, as if I were in my beloved land of Calabria. Excellent appetizers, sublime pizza and a lot of kindness from Mrs. Lina and all the staff. As soon as I get back, I'll have an experience to do again.

Must try...the Grand Menu...15 courses including meat, fish and vegetables, platter with typical cured meats, fried dumplings, aubergine roll and much more accompanied by a delicious Primitivo Amabile Rosso. Clean environment and fast service. Super prices

Storico locale dove passare una serata tranquilla

Pranzo con colleghi di mia moglie. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Prezzo onesto. Tempi un pochino lunghi per le portate ma buona compagnia. Ottima scelta.

Siamo tornati con piacere dopo anni e ho trovato la stessa professionalità e qualità di quando il tutto era sotto l'occhio attento del compianto Cataldo

Ogni volta si riconferma un posto eccezionale dove mangiare ottimo cibo ad un prezzo più che onesto! Consigliatissimo!!!

Si mangia molto bene, ambiente tranquillo e ottimo antipasto!
