04/08/2025: They have wonderful pralines, a dozen different kinds, my favorites are coffee and almond cream... Then just as many, if not more, pastries with cream and chocolate, cream cannoli, etc. The coffees, cappuccinos, and lattes are also truly excellent. And at reasonable prices. They also sell tickets for the "circular" train, and for Foggia, etc. Very kind and professional service. In my opinion, the best—also in terms of refinement—café in the city and the surrounding area. ************* Now, towards summer, you can find various types of gelato (instead of pralines...). Downstairs, there's a self-service restaurant, which—the manager assures me—serves complete lunches (or 1st or 2nd) at regular prices. Now, in August, lots of gelato, frozen cakes, many pastries and cannoli, and cream-filled pastries in various types and shapes. For all your needs.

24/02/2025: I purchased some zeppole at a cost of 3 euros each, as I have been a renowned pastry shop for several years now, thinking I could make a good impression on the guests. In my opinion, the cost was too high for the quality, all diners found them to be too oily and heavy, not very fragrant (soggy and perhaps a little moist and raw inside) and with a quality that was not at the top compared to expectations.

05/10/2025: The staff were very friendly and quick. We had an aperitif and a carbonara. Cured meats and cheeses were very good, but it's a shame there wasn't much bread. The carbonara, however, was a bit bland, and the pecorino and guanciale were nonexistent in the flavor of the dish.

16/07/2025: A poche centinaia di metri( occhio al navigatore) del casello autostradale di Candela, il ristorante con ampio parcheggio e grande sala e veranda esterna,espone ovunque a terra o appesi moto,radio vintage,macchine da scrivere,mamgiadischi!!,attrezzi storici,pentola e in rame,màcinini e tante altre memorabilie. Si mangia anche a prezzi modici,noi di passaggio, le orecchiette alle cime di rapa buone e abbondanti. Titolare vera star del locale.

12/07/2025: Valida trattoria di campagna. Unica delusione l antipasto, considerato il livello dei prezzi nel menù per 15 euro ci aspettavamo qualcosa di sostanzioso invece era davvero miserello e triste. Basta orientarsi su primi e secondi. I dolci attraenti ma confezionati. Considerando il panorama gastronomico della zona ci è andata più che bene e siamo tornati nel viaggio di ritorno

16/07/2025: We were attracted by the location and the presentation of the restaurant, but unfortunately the overall experience fell far short of expectations, both in terms of quality and quantity. And, even more seriously, it didn't match the final bill of €103. 🍝 Cuisine: between small portions and poorly balanced flavors The orecchiette with eggplant puree was inexplicably bitter, so much so that it was unpleasant to the palate. A poorly balanced dish, difficult to finish. The "shrimp and burrata" appetizer consisted of six tiny shrimp (we counted them) and a barely visible burrata, so much so that it seemed to be there only to "dirty" the plate. The so-called "gran frittura di paranza dell'Adriatico" (literally "great fried Adriatic fish") turned out to be a mix of obviously frozen calamari and shrimp, with a few anchovies and fresh red mullet to counterbalance the overall effect. The spaghetti with clams were meagerly portioned (no more than 80g of pasta), with the clams literally counted one by one. No seafood aroma, no emotion. 🍨 Bar-style dessert, served carelessly The only dessert ordered, a Sammontana white truffle, was served frozen and without any presentation, straight from the refrigerator of the adjacent bar. No additions, no detail. 💬 Service and atmosphere The staff was polite but cold, and the ambiance—though pleasant from the outside—didn't make up for the overall impression of neglect in the food offerings. 💸 Value for money: completely unbalanced Spending €103 for such a poor meal, where we couldn't even find a truly satisfying dish, leaves us with an overall feeling of dissatisfaction and bitterness. Not recommended location...

11/07/2025: Exceptional location. Dinner offers a breathtaking sunset. The food is average, nothing exceptional. The service is poor. The waitress knew the people at the next table and let slip a couple of swear words. She spilled the wine and a cork ended up in the glass... she replaced our glass :-(

25/09/2025: Small rooms, lacking comfort, uncomfortable beds, neglected sports facilities with rust and moss in both the playground and pool areas. Some children's games were patched up, some were broken and therefore unsafe, the gym was unusable, and most of the pool loungers were broken. Uncomfortable beds, rooms in need of renovation. When a group arrived for two days, there was chaos, great confusion both during the afternoon rest hours and at night, even on the beach; the restaurant felt like a market. There were no warnings, as the group continued to make a racket without any problems. Unreasonable wait times for breakfast during the group's stay: a 40-minute line at the only machine for a cappuccino, with a bar open, and no staff member made a coffee or anything else. The water for showers was lukewarm, but after we informed them, the temperature was raised. The place is infested with mosquitoes. I recommend mosquito nets in the rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. But the price isn't worth the service. The only positives are the staff and the good food. Salvatore is the top maître d'.

05/08/2025: The facility could use a bit of updating, but otherwise we spent two weeks relaxing and having fun. My little Antonella really had a great time, thanks also to the entertainment staff: Gaia, Michelle, Federica, Nunzia, and everyone else, including Michele, the super-friendly shuttle driver. Everyone was really good and well-organized. The facility is truly child-friendly. We'll definitely be back next year. Thanks to everyone, especially Bruno, who was always there for us. Thank you. 30/08/2025: I'm sorry to report terrible service. After booking a table for 18 people days in advance, we arrived yesterday evening and found ourselves arguing with the waitress who insisted on choosing a pizza menu plus an appetizer that we hadn't requested. After much insistence, we managed to get the menu per person with an explicit statement that we would have waited a long time. Well, aware of this, I don't see the reason, perhaps out of spite. After about 2 hours, the pizzas arrive, well, we eat, but no, my pizza hasn't arrived. I call the waitress and she tells me it'll take another 10 minutes for her pizza. After 29 minutes, it finally arrives and I say thank you, but it doesn't seem fair to me that all this waiting for only one pizza left and the waitress tells me I told you you'd wait a long time and I say thank you, I'm pleased to hear that ironically. After a while, the same waitress comes back, apologizing, saying that she hadn't passed the order to the kitchen. Well, you can conclude, on my part, it was truly rude, perhaps due to my initial request. I can't say what the pizza was like because I didn't eat it since I was the only one left and everyone was getting up to leave. Personally, if I have to bring groups of friends, I don't.

26/08/2025: Good pizza, good service, and a fair price. The dining room is a bit small and can be a bit noisy because it's always crowded.

27/08/2025: We ordered a box from this bar on Too Good to Go, and they gave us a tray of pastries and a terrible sandwich! I think they were old and definitely kept out of the refrigerator because the cream in the pastries was completely spoiled, with a sour taste, like expired milk. Too Good to Go isn't designed to give customers things you'd otherwise throw away. You risk serious harm, and it's best you don't offer anything at this point.

19/06/2025: This is one of those agriturismo places which, if I understand it correctly, is a farm that has its own restaurant so that you can experience farm to plate food. These tend to be stuck out in the countryside, as this one is, a few miles outside Peschici. The location is lovely, as was the experience dining amongst the olive groves. Unfortunately, the food and wine experience did not match. The food we received was OK but nothing special and we certainly experienced much better Orecchiette pasta on this trip round Puglia. And as for the wine well……. Now I have to say we visited here as part of a tour group with a UK travel company, so perhaps we were given the cheap stuff, but frankly it was closer to non alcoholic fruit juice that the excellent red wines this region produces. However, on this particular lunchtime it was full of locals (including the local Carbonari) with people queuing to get in. Sadly though not for me. I would not choose to come here under my own steam.
