18/11/2025: We were allowed to park here over lunchtime and visit Castel del Monte via a lovely hiking trail. We ended up staying for lunch, even though it wasn't a requirement. The food was very good, albeit expensive, and the service was friendly thanks to a young man – a wonderful experience.

26/07/2025: We had breakfast at this bar, and if it weren't for the 40-minute wait for our order (after the waitress saw us and served people who came after us), everything would have been perfect. The Tetta della Monaca and fruit tarts were excellent. Fair prices.

19/04/2026: We arrive at 1:00 PM sharp. We're among the first to be seated, we order, and the appetizers arrive immediately. So far, so good. Once the appetizers are finished, we wait for the first courses. An hour passes and nothing, we ask the waiter, and he tells us they're preparing the dishes, another hour passes and they tell us the dishes are arriving. In the meantime, we order a fried fish dish for the second course, considering how long it takes for the first course. It's 4:00 PM when the first courses finally arrive. Spaghetti with seafood. With raw mussels and closed clams. Disappointed with the first course, we wait for the fried fish to satisfy our taste buds, but only the waiter comes to tell us that the fried fish is finished. Meanwhile, it's 4:30 PM. We get up to pay the bill, and not a single euro is discounted. It's a shame because the place is very nice.

28/03/2026: We returned to Kaori after the change of management. The welcome was immediately pleasant, and the atmosphere suited the setting, with just the right amount of lighting that didn't tire us out throughout the entire dinner. We mostly love eating at the counter, and here we immediately met Thiago, a Brazilian-born chef with experience at various sushi restaurants, including Nobu Milano. Speaking with him, we immediately understood his passion for his work and his dedication to listening to his customers' needs. The right amount of dialogue and surprises the chef offers are crucial to the omasake experience, and in our case, we also share his love for citrusy, bolder flavors, unlike the current trend at most sushi restaurants, making the dishes extremely sweet with the magical soy sauce that covers everything. In short, the perfect blend of Oriental and local flavors that the Kaori staff manages to convey.

01/02/2026: It's a shame that the Kaorino cocktail bar isn't a standalone review (only the restaurant is listed here), because it deserves its own review. A very refined location, an intimate and private atmosphere, and well-crafted cocktails. The only thing I can't justify is the €3 cover charge per person: we dined at the bar, with no table service and not even water included. In other cities or abroad, similar service is accompanied by tangible elements (filtered water, welcome snacks, table setting). A pleasant experience, but this detail completely clashes with the quality of the concept.

Magically these people find a place. I retrace my steps and challenge the inappropriate behavior. Response: Excuse me, I'm sorry and sorry for what happened, now there is a place, like a few minutes before, absolute refusal, then will we find a place? Passing through here in Andria now even if I'm from Andria, 50 years that I have lived outside. I don't think I should say anything else, even if there is no seriousness, and then for having fooled a potential customer, who will never set foot in that place again

22/03/2026: At New Oberdan Canosa, dear friend Nicola, superlative food, with some of our guys returning from the mini retreat, with a presentation of the ProGiT Cycling Team in Lavello and with all the biomechanics carried out at the BIOMEC BIKE LAB Laboratory, before an afternoon training session on the race course in Adelfia (BA) on April 12th organized by the Polisportiva Velo Club Adelfia.
