27/08/2025: Just returned from vacation with my son, very beautiful and well-kept place, very kind and professional staff, especially Mr. Giuseppe, the shuttle driver, punctual, precise and attentive, as well as very friendly.

21/08/2025: The place is beautiful, and so are the rooms, but a bit pricey. The restaurant has limited choices, and practically nothing for children. Pasta with tomato sauce costs €10. The waiters need better training; if you ask two waiters for information, they can't always tell you different things. Aside from the reception, they need more smiles, which is the basis of hospitality. After all, guests pay for everything, including use of the pool.

13/08/2025: Since they changed management, the service has gotten significantly worse. Now you have to first get a receipt and then pick up your order, but the cash register doesn't work properly and it creates long, unnecessary lines. The wait is excessive for a simple coffee. Unfortunately, I won't be back again."

13/08/2025: Wednesday afternoon, 6:00 PM I come in to order and they tell me to sit wherever I want and that the waiter will be there shortly to take my order. It's 6:27 PM and no one's shown up yet... Nice, relaxing place, excellent food, but the service leaves a lot to be desired...

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore

10/02/2025: Pressappochismo, disorganizzazione, pessimo cibo e prezzi ingiustificatamente alti. Primi e secondi sotto la sufficienza, antipasto di piattini miseri e imbarazzanti. Ho dato 1 perché non si può dare di meno e francamente non capisco le recensioni positive che leggo qua. Forse siamo abituati a ingurgitare qualunque cosa e ci stiamo abituando al sempre peggio. Non tocco qui l'argomento "servizio" perché non mi bastano i caratteri!

10/02/2025: Pessima esperienza! Per il giorno del mio compleanno avevo prenotato un tavolo per 4 tramite TheFork perché più volte non hanno risposto al telefono. Il giorno della prenotazione mi arriva questa mail un'ora prima e nonostante tutto ci trovano un tavolo abbastanza arrangiato (al posto dei calici da vino come tutti gli altri avevamo le coppe aperol!!). Il "metre" ci spiega frettolosamente gli antipasti senza neanche farci capire e ci chiede cosa vogliamo mangiare e bere in maniera molto infastidita, a malapena dandoci il tempo di rispondere. Ci ha anche detto che un primo era finito per poi servirlo davanti ai nostri occhi a tavoli che avevano ordinato molto dopo di noi. Insomma, un grande maleducato. Alcune portate degli antipasti sono state completamente saltate e dopo sollecito sono arrivate più di una volta portate da cameriere diverse, come se non avessero comunicato fra loro e la colpa fosse nostra. La qualità del cibo era davvero scarsa. I bagni erano sporchi e senza carta né sapone. Servizio pessimo, organizzazione inesistente e cibo deludente. Se avessi invitato al pranzo del mio compleanno altre persone mi sarei molto vergognata della mia scelta. Non lo consiglio assolutamente!

22/06/2025: I have been to this place several times, and every time I am fascinated. It seems like a small village. You enter a courtyard of a building, and you access the place that has internal rooms and then you arrive at the external part which is a wonderful garden. The menu is very simple with choices that do not create confusion. Excellent quality and good value for money. Definitely worth trying at least once

24/06/2025: This is a place you have to visit - even if you don't eat sweets ❤️ - suddenly at night the door opens to the land of sweet rolls, hot, fresh, with perfect icing, noise and a queue at midnight - Italian wonderland - unfortunately no pictures because they were eaten quickly

02/09/2025: I had booked an 8-day full-board stay. Unfortunately, due to my wife's health, I had to cancel after two days. I left at night, informing the concierge of my early departure. I should point out that I paid for everything upon arrival. My main disappointment was not receiving a call from management. However, even though I only stayed two days, I can't say I was satisfied. I wasn't satisfied with the restaurant at all. Poor quality and limited choice of side dishes, no fruit or desserts. The beach was also very neglected. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and beautiful because it was newly built, although the bathroom lacked all the amenities. The reception was also very kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: I spent 15 days at this property with my family. I always interacted with Michele Rosa, a very kind and helpful person, always ready to answer any questions. The staff is always smiling and kind. Perfect location for those who want to go to the beach. There's not much nearby; you'll need a car to visit the nearby towns. My dogs were always pampered, and even at the beach they were almost like mascots! The only downside was the hotel meals...nothing like the restaurant across the street, which was also on the property. Excellent food and delicious pizza! Newly renovated rooms with spacious rooms and beautiful furnishings!

09/08/2025: Bella la location, camerieri molto garbati e preparati, antipasti e primi nella media , abbiamo preso un misto di 4 portate come antipasto ed orecchiette al ragù bianco di agnello come primo. I secondi molto deludenti , sia le bombette impanate che la melanzana al forno! Piatti serviti freddi soprattutto i secondi! Lo Chef dovrebbe migliorare molto la qualità delle portate!

27/04/2025: Place recommended by the hotel we stayed in. When we phoned a unique availability just for the simple gesture of having cooked ONLY for my son the pasta with sauce would deserve 5 stars but.... EXCELLENT starter and very filling. The meat is to be discussed, it wasn't very good in taste and I'm talking about dry pork meat and the taste was unpleasant while the veal meat was better but still nothing exceptional. Excellent dessert. The bill? Delivered on a notepad. Menu not present. High bill for what we ate. The place has excellent chances of growing only if it opens its doors a little more to new management and service

23/04/2025: Devo dire che i ragazzi che hanno preso in gestione il locale sono simpatici e volenterosi ... continuate così. Premetto che abbiamo preso solo due aperitivi con amici ma ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Hanno anche una certa competenza in tema di materie prime per i cocktails ... Penso che quest'estate proveremo il ristorante.

21/08/2025: We just left this place... sitting next to a barrel... we ate well... the portions were adequate and the prices were in line with other places. The only problem is that there's almost nothing on the menu for children... in fact, with two children, we could only opt for the meatballs in tomato sauce. Otherwise, I recommend it!

30/07/2025: It's a shame that tourists like us get oil that isn't olive oil, but has an unfamiliar smell and aroma. A bottle of wine without ice, while two friends of the chef next door have all of the above. I know the food and have had much tastier meals. Overall, I certainly won't be going here again. I wish the owner more attention to everyone. Cheers.
