A charming, cheerful, and festively lit restaurant located near the beautiful Frederick II castle, overlooking the sea. And that alone should be enough. The absence of architectural barriers allows for an informal approach from any location; sturdy tables are available indoors, outdoors, and inside. Promptly cleaned after each drink, you are quickly approached by the service staff who, with professionalism and a smile, inform you of the characteristics and requirements requested. Abundant food, served on beautiful, colorful plates... superb pizzas: with or without leavened crusts. With mixed grain flours or not... in short, truly something for all tastes. The waiting times, given the large influx of customers, are fairly normal. But the deliciousness is worth the wait. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The beers are strictly craft. And it's worth it. In short, my initial skepticism has completely melted away when faced with the facts. Well done to the team, and even more so to the chefs. I will return.

If you're visiting Manfredonia, one of the best places to eat anything and drink with friends is definitely Re Manfredi. You'll find waiter Giuseppe and the rest of the staff there to guide you throughout your culinary journey.

Very good food, fast and efficient service. The staff was courteous, professional, and welcoming. A little more expensive than other restaurants, but it's on the waterfront and the seafood is quality. We had two seafood starters with the catch of the day, a glass of wine, a Coke, and a coffee; we paid €26.

We started with a €20 seafood appetizer, which left a lot to be desired: small portions and rather limited variety compared to what you'd expect from a restaurant of this type and at that price. The overall feeling was that the dish was rushed, and we had to wait 45 minutes while the other tables, which had filled up later, were already receiving their first courses. The first courses and pizzas were decidedly better. The rice, potatoes, and mussels was tasty and well-balanced, the troccoli allo scoglio were well-seasoned and flavorful, and the pizzas were also very good, with a solid dough and convincing ingredients. A major downside for us was the bill management: there was no real flexibility in paying among friends, only a single bill or a Roman-style split.
