24/04/2025: Uno dei nostri ristoranti preferiti della zona. È una tappa fissa ogni volta che veniamo a Matino e non restiamo mai delusi. Anzi, tra i nostri piatti preferiti i tacos con Guacamole e tartare di palamita. Così come le linguine con crema alle cime di rapa. Piatto delizioso e non banale. La cornice stupenda con oggetti di design grande charme e un servizio impeccabile ma caloroso. A chi non c’è mai stato lo consiglio vivamente!

30/03/2025: Posto magnifico, piatti straordinari, il personale gentile e disponibile, servizio da ristorante di alta gamma, location mozzafiato anche internamente.

06/09/2025: An innovative and modern location, it offers a cuisine with a mixed choice, you can vary from fast food, to the land menu, sea and pizzeria. Personally I chose the pizza for this my first time, I must say a truly excellent product, the raw material is of excellent quality, you can perceive tastes and flavors at all levels and the dough is truly exceptional. The only flaw, but it is my personal consideration, the base of the pizza was too thin, so much so that it even made it difficult to consume the various slices. Having created such a high level dough it is truly a shame, but I believe, and hope, that it only happened with my pizza, but in that case, in the end, it is a small mistake easily remedied. Ultimately a beautiful place with high level cuisine, recommended for dinners with friends and work conventions.

12/07/2025: It's a relatively new place, well-decorated and welcoming. The menu is extensive, ranging from pizza to sandwiches, seafood and meat dishes. We've been there twice and the overall experience was positive, although the first time the wait was very long, but it was a Saturday and it was crowded. On that occasion, we had dinner and ate seafood. They also had a decent selection of wines. Another time, we went on a weekday to try the pizza. The pizzas were good, but ours were burned. We mentioned this and were told that if we'd told them right away, they'd have remade them, and that it can happen. But looking at the photos of other customers, it seems like it's a regular occurrence. The staff is friendly, and they have good beers.

09/09/2025: I used to come here only for the food and the 24-hour bar. Apart from that, I didn't like anything. The waiters always seemed pissed off and rude.

29/08/2025: Top breakfast in Brindisi, near the port. Excellent pastries and brioches, fast and friendly service.

05/08/2025: Terrible... they have a habit of accepting reservations even if they don't have a table, making customers wait a long time. We arrived right on time, they told us 3-4 minutes... we left after 30 minutes because there wasn't a table waiting for us... really not serious... avoid them!!!

01/08/2025: Canned mushrooms? Really! Ham too salty, pizza burnt. The staff is very nice but unfortunately, good pizzas aren't found here.

07/09/2025: Ok so the food was really good but the waiter was really nervous and almost agressive, good thing that the lady manager handeled the situation well :) if your job makes you angry - change it :))))))

16/07/2025: In the van with our Belgian Malinois, we loved the location in front of the beach, a very pretty cove. Our dog was able to... We spent two very pleasant nights.

26/08/2025: Looking at photos and videos on social media, I honestly expected much more, especially from the pizza. The appetizers and fried foods aren't bad, but the pizza, from my experience, is anything but. The toppings were actually very good, but it's the dough that gets you: rubbery, sometimes undercooked, and it seemed as if they hadn't given it time to rise. Kudos to the staff, who, despite being few in number, were able to manage the difficulties of that particular evening (though judging by reviews prior to mine, the "understaffed" seems more like a habit than an "occurrence"). I hope to return soon and enjoy a better-made pizza, perhaps on a quiet weekday so I can change my mind.

24/08/2025: We spent a pleasant evening with friends enjoying excellent pizzas. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

27/08/2025: The appetizer prices were exorbitant for a paltry dish. The wait for dinner was endless. We arrived at 9:20 PM and our dishes were delivered at 11:45 PM. Disorganized by the waiters and the kitchen. The long wait is apparently customary, given that there's a chalkboard with the message "Don't rush, and that waiting increases cravings and hunger." After more than two hours, my only desire was to get up and leave. The exterior was definitely nice. I recommend a guided tour only, without dinner.

26/08/2025: How wonderful!!! How wonderful to be able to eat in such a unique and characteristic place, with such masterfully prepared dishes, with truly excellent service, and be able to feel at home...gentlemen, this is what happens at Corte dei Simonari!!! Everything was beautiful, everyone was truly nice, from the first to the last. The owner is probably the sweetest of all; before we left, she even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. We can't wait to return to try other Salento dishes prepared (and in some cases revisited) by the talented chef and to be pampered by all the staff. P.S. I forgot to mention that the prices are MORE than fair.

07/07/2025: Pizza was amazing, spaghetti was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. They were really patient with us as we do not speak Italian. Would recommend this place for authentic local experience.
