10/08/2025: Discovered this year, we haven't left. Free parking, fair prices, top-notch services, generous space between umbrellas, and a splendid sea, with two options for swimming: either from a sandy cove or from a ladder directly into the deeper water. Friendly staff, and a shout-out to Antonello, the lifeguard, who is always there to help with even the smallest mishaps.

13/10/2025: A place with a breathtaking view. A perfect lunch in a fairytale setting. Appetizing appetizers with delicate flavors. A discovery of flavors, far removed from the usual condiments and pairings. More than a lunch, for us it was a sensory experience, one we will definitely repeat in the future. A special mention goes to the courtesy of the staff and the owner's immense availability, attentive to our every request. Our heartfelt compliments

10/09/2025: Nice seating. Service was good. Food was good but not great. Pricey.

20/09/2025: We happened to go for pizza here at the end of July. It was unbelievable. An hour and a half wait for a pizza. So we decided to just pay for the drinks, and they also charged us the cover charge thanks to the information of the incredibly inexperienced staff, who were like, "She liked the beer in the glass, ehehehheheh." Crazy stuff.

17/09/2025: Found by chance and intrigued by the name, being a cyclist, we decided to stop for a quick break before heading off again. I have to say, the pizza is truly excellent. The dough, in my case a whole-grain one, was truly excellent: light, fragrant, and the ingredients were truly excellent. The same goes for the baked panzerotto my friend ordered, which was really rich in toppings and nice and large. The service was lively and light, which is exactly what you need in that context. Well done everyone. We'll definitely see you again when I return to Sammichele.

27/10/2025: We had delicious salmon pasta with tomato sauce. A huge portion. A mixed salad as a starter. We were very satisfied. Everything was perfect.

02/11/2025: A very welcoming, family-friendly venue, meticulously curated down to the smallest details, in the historic center of Lecce. A place where you can breathe in the history of the place, upon entering you are immediately greeted by a highly respected wine cellar and by Francesco, who takes guests on a journey of flavors and aromas from another era, always remaining very contemporary. From here, it begins with Chef Aldo, who guides his guests through a range of traditional local dishes, dishes from other regions, and seafood, preserving the culture in both craftsmanship and raw materials. Highly recommended for all audiences.

11/10/2025: We had a quick lunch here. I wanted to try the « fave e cicorie» as it’s supposed to be a traditional dish of the area. It was lovely and creamy. We enjoyed some nice cool beers and the staff were very friendly. Apparently they are new owners and I think they should be encouraged. It was slightly out of the main tourist centre on a quiet but attractive street. We ate outside so I’m not sure what the interior of the restaurant is like.

10/08/2025: Dear Ms. Chiarelli, during the Jonio Jazz festival, after reading the excellent reviews, we decided to stop by your place for takeout sandwiches. Well, next year, I'll dine elsewhere first and then come to listen to the music. The sandwich was a large ciabatta sandwich with three slices of sausage inside; perhaps a smaller sandwich would have made a better impression. In fact, I assure you, half of it ended up in the trash after finishing the sausage part. A half-empty aluminum container of chips cost €5 and a 66cl Heneiken beer cost €5 (your supplier pays you €0.80). I repeat, all takeout and not served at the table. I realize you only see tourists during this music festival, but by treating tourists like this, you really make a bad impression.

25/07/2025: We had dinner with friends at Royal Grill. Everything was good. The meat was excellent and well-cooked. The fries were delicious, as were the ice creams, and above all, the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back, especially since the price was reasonable.

26/08/2025: We stayed from August 12th to 15th at Over The Top Affittacamere, specifically in the Lu ientu room. The room was truly beautiful: spacious, innovative, and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was wonderful, with a lounger perfect for relaxing in the evening and a comfortable table for dinner. The functional kitchen allowed us to cook with ease, the bathroom was modern and meticulously maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. A special thanks goes to the owner, a wonderful person, humble, sweet, and always available: whenever we called, he was ready to help us and, surprisingly, he tidied our room every day. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by his kindness: the room was perfect, clean, and tidy, and he even provided us with two slices of delicious cake for breakfast, which truly amazed me. Furthermore, there were coffee pods, still and sparkling water, and even little details like salt and laundry detergent: in short, nothing was missing. We highly recommend staying in this apartment, because not only is the property stunning, but the staff also makes a difference. Plus, right downstairs is a beautiful grill restaurant, where the irresistible aroma of freshly grilled meat wafted from every evening. It was an experience that left us with wonderful memories, and one we hope to repeat!

31/10/2025: I celebrated my retirement in this beautiful location, where, thanks to the mastery of Chef Vincenzo, he brought excellent flavors to the table that everyone enjoyed: rich and flavorful appetizers, a fabulous risotto, and the delicious braised entrecote. A special mention also goes to the manager, Tony, and the maitre d', who ensured the service was excellent. Thanks again.

The wait staff is friendly, welcoming, and highly professional; the chef will delight your taste buds. Parking is available on both sides of the street.
