Walking around Bari Vecchia we came across this restaurant thinking it was the usual one for tourists but I changed my mind, we had a first course of fresh tagliolini with seafood with stracciatella and tuna tartare, what can I say, amazing, more than generous portion, then a stellar fried food, stop in the evening we didn't have dinner... Worth trying, especially for the people of Bari!!!!

The best octopus sandwich in Bari, combined with a great atmosphere. Of course, on August 15th, you're expected to have to wait a half-hour; that seems normal given the long line outside. Plus, you can take out, but you can sit down and eat in peace in front of the restaurant. Excellent value.

Lunch at La Tana del Polpo on Friday, August 14th. There were eleven of us, immediately greeted enthusiastically by Michele, the owner, and his son. Excellent service and incredible food. We had the chance to try the raw seafood, a true must-try for those who love this type of dish. The fried anchovies were also excellent, and the octopus salad was truly delicious. Honorable mention for the octopus assassin, highly recommended. Thanks to the delightful Michele and all his staff.

02/02/2026: Located in the heart of Bari, Burbeero is one of the best beer halls in the city. The place is small and welcoming, with outdoor seating available. Beer reigns supreme, with four taps and an excellent selection of bottles and cans. The menu isn't very long, but it's incredibly varied, and everything is delicious! The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. It's a must-visit when in Bari. Highly recommended!
