04/05/2025: It's 3:37 am and I just got home from the emergency room! I had asked for a lactose-free crêpe with dark chocolate, not with Nutella, because I'm allergic to dried fruit. As soon as they delivered it to me, I asked if it was dark, to make sure I could eat it. They tell me everything was ok. After eating part of it, I started to feel very ill, I took the antihistamine at home, but it had no effect and I ran to the emergency room, where they gave me an IV and tests. It turned out to be a strong allergic reaction, therefore the lack of attention from the staff was very serious. It is important to be careful about CONTAMINATION or INGREDIENTS… when a customer exhibits allergy/intolerance. Really SERIOUS, I went through 3 hours of hell, I won't go back again. From complaint!

25/05/2025: In a small street... a small sign... the Il Presidente restaurant is not to be missed, well-run, with guaranteed gastronomy in an exceptional and peaceful setting at a very reasonable price... professional service and a chef who delivers with smiles from the staff...

24/06/2025: Tucked away in a quiet side street with just the right amount of local life — a few scooters, friendly passersby — the setting here is relaxed and authentic. The service was very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The pizza we had tasted good, flavor and fresh ingredients. However, the dough on my pizza seemed underdeveloped: the base was very thin, and the crust formed only a shallow, hollow edge rather than the airy, structured rim typical of a well-proofed dough. Almost like a Flammkuchen. After short time, the crust started to turn noticeably soggy and dense, little hard to bite through. That might not be the norm, though: other photos clearly show a pizza with a more typical, puffy crust. Since we were there right at opening time, I wonder: was the oven maybe not fully up to temperature yet, or had the dough not rested long enough today? Either way, I’ll give it another try the other day — the flavor is promising, and with such a nice setting and friendly service, I’d love to see how the pizza performs another day.

08/06/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, perhaps a little too crowded, there should be a little more space between the tables, a little more light not dim, a more careful organization between the owner and the girls at the tables, rather slow service, between appetizer and Pizza a good hour almost an invitation to leave after the appetizer, prices in line, most likely around there are places at the same cost to say the least better than the aforementioned. An evening dampened by the wait for the orders, and by the corrections made to the girls who bring the wrong orders to the tables by inverting the tables of the customers, obviously this is the result of the disorganization that reigns supreme in that place.

19/07/2025: Aside from the fact that I had booked and they lost the reservation, we arrive and they put my baby in a corner, something that would make Patrick Swayze turn in his grave... after 3/4 times that I call a waiter the menus arrive and after as many calls they take the order... I should point out that I was with 3 girls for whom I had asked for 1 pizza for three along with the fried appetizers which were honestly delicious... I arrived at 8:50 pm and the appetizers arrive at 9:30 pm... but the pizzas are disappeared at 10:00 pm the ham and mozzarella appetizer arrives... at 10:40 pm we hear the pizza chef say that the ingredients for 1 pizza still hadn't arrived... at 10:45 pm we sadly get up and pay the bill... we have the pizzas deducted and go to the mc... to the happiness of the girls... stunned waiters and out of control command... shame because the little that arrived was good.....

23/07/2025: I returned to this restaurant after many years for dinner and was quite disappointed. Aside from the atmosphere, the panoramic view of the Murge, and the courtesy of the staff, there wasn't much left. I didn't appreciate the revisited parmigiana or the dessert they served (basically a biscuit with cream). The other dishes were fairly bland. The portions were small and the prices a bit high.

11/07/2025: We had a sensational wonderful pizza from this fabulous little restaurant as you enter Giurdignano .... the pizza crust was brilliant and the vegetarian pizza with salami was outstanding ! I can't recommend it highly enough ... great friendly staff, ready in minutes, easy to find, great price, and we can't wait to go back !
