We come often and have always had excellent food, both pizza and fish, but today, for my daughter's First Communion, they truly outdid themselves. Exceptional menu: rich and carefully prepared appetizers with crostini, bruschetta, cured meats, and a truly delicious porcini mushroom flan with pecorino fondue. Spectacular first courses, from paccheri with scottona ragù and 24-month-old Parmigiano to risotto with broccoli, burrata, and walnut crumble. Impeccable second courses include sliced ​​beef and pork tenderloin with roast potatoes. A truly extraordinary finish with a mille-feuille with Chantilly cream, simply incredible! Impeccable service, fast and always attentive. Everything was fabulous, highly recommended!

05/05/2026: We wanted to have dinner in San Piero a Sieve during our hike on the Via degli Dei. The friendly man who greeted us asked if we had a reservation. After I said no, he showed us to a table. A young woman took over our table. We were given the pizza menu. Actually, I didn't want pizza, but something else... In short, what bothered me was the assumption from the outset that tourists only wanted pizza and ONLY handed out the pizza menu, and the woman didn't give me much time to decide... afterwards I understood why... quite a few people arrived who had reservations. Nevertheless, the pizza was excellent :), great value for money!

24/04/2026: Came here for lunch after a long morning and was super pleasantly surprised. The spaghetti vongole and fried seafood was perfect. They also had fried artichokes that were amazing and a lamb ragu that was perfectly un-gamey. Highly recommend!

05/05/2026: On our way back from Siena, we stopped at this quiet little restaurant in Castelfiorentino. The village is truly charming, simple, less crowded than San Gimignano, but very quaint. Moreno is very friendly and, above all, kind. The cuisine isn't typically Tuscan, but it's still high-quality. An ideal place to stop on your way back from Tuscan destinations.

01/05/2026: We tried the pizza with the dark crust (a mix of whole wheat flours and grains) and it was delicious! Despite the restaurant being fully booked, service was relatively quick. The atmosphere is very pleasant, spread across three levels, all very welcoming.

They offer combo menus to 14-15 year olds who go for pizza and only then tell them the price (which is obviously essentially double the price for pizza and drinks, and just for adding an appetizer). Then, when anyone says they don't want it, they insist that it's already ready and they have to order it... There's no clarity with kids... who obviously get overwhelmed. Let's just say it's only recommended for adults, eh? It's a shame they could be more considerate because the food is generally decent.
