01/05/2026: Rustic setting in the Florentine hinterland. Well-crafted home cooking, varied dishes, and generous portions. The wait times are a bit long, but more than anything, they're uneven: appetizers and first courses are very quick, but then there's a long wait for main courses and side dishes. Otherwise, the staff is courteous and very friendly, and deserves a special mention.

30/04/2026: I love this place—the simple, welcoming setting, the incredibly kind staff, and the excellent pizza. I went on Sunday with my boyfriend, and the gentleman who served us was incredibly nice. I had the chance to try both the pizza and the pizzone, and of the two, I recommend the pizzone to share. You can choose up to three flavors, and it's perfect for two people. Thanks so much, guys!

My pizza tonight was damned perfection: thin crust, but also thick for those who prefer it, crispy on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside. Every bite is an emotional journey: it makes you close your eyes, sigh with pleasure, and think, "This is why life is worth living." Top-notch ingredients, a wood-fired oven that adds that perfect smoky touch—standing ovations are in order! Yes, I've read (and shared) a few reviews complaining about the wait times, especially when it's busy (and it always is, because it's good!). But as a regular, I tell you: those 15-20 minutes are an absolute treat. You sit down, chat with friends or reflect on the day, savor the family atmosphere, and watch the pizza chefs at work with incredible dedication. They don't rush: they cook every pizza "to perfection," with obsessive care, because their true joy is seeing happy faces like mine at the end. It's pure satisfaction for the team—I can tell by the proud looks they give me every time they bring me a steaming plate. In a world of fast food, here the wait is the prelude to a genuine emotion. 31/05/2026: Unfortunately I had this place recommended to me however, the service was terrible and the pasta was probably the worst I’ve ever eaten. Overpriced, underwhelming and there must be hundreds of local restaurants around it that do authentic Italian food better! Save your money and tastebuds for something else.

27/04/2026: We had a wonderful lunch. The restaurant is typically Tuscan and very charming. The menu is very varied, from meat to fish, which I recommend. In the evening, they also make excellent pizzas. I can't thank the owner and staff enough, they are truly lovely people.

10/04/2026: We spent a night at the restaurant and came with our camper through AgriCamper. Honestly, we were very happy with both the food and the service. Since we were traveling with our two-and-a-half-year-old baby, we really appreciated that they served her first. Contrary to what some Americans have mentioned here, for us that was great, especially since we didn’t even ask for it. It was truly wonderful and one of the highlights of our experience. The service was consistently excellent, and the food was delicious, extremely delicious. I highly recommend the pasta, especially the seafood spaghetti. I enjoyed every single bite. Bravo to the chef. Another thing we loved and highly recommend is ordering a local digestive at the end of the meal. We found out it’s made by the father of the owner or manager, who only speaks Italian. It’s definitely worth trying after dinner. It’s a shame we couldn’t buy a bottle since they only have large ones for the restaurant, but it was incredibly good. 100% recommended.

22/03/2026: We tried Pizzeria Origano in Calenzano, ordering two takeout pizzas—a Margherita with artichokes and a Quattro Formaggi—and were truly impressed! The dough is simply among the best we've ever tasted: light, well-leavened, and highly digestible. You can immediately taste the quality, and every bite confirms the attention to detail. The ingredients are also top-notch, perfectly enhancing the final result. Both pizzas were exceptional, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a pizzeria we'll return to often—highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Thank goodness this delightful little place exists in Calenzano! The round pizza is delicious, from the dough to the quality ingredients and the many flavors to choose from, along with many beautiful and delicious desserts. Plus, the girl at the cashier is incredibly kind, really nice and helpful—well done!!! I'll be back to try many more flavors of pizza, both round and sliced, and various desserts!

02/05/2026: Nice local spot with delicious pizza & good prices. It looks unassuming when you first walk in, but we really enjoyed our meal and felt we had an authentic (not touristic) Italian experience.

06/05/2026: We ordered coffee outside, the waiter took our order and left, disappearing for 10 minutes. When we returned, he didn't even take our order. Then he came out again and said one of the ingredients for the caffè corretto wasn't there. I should also mention that they had a maximum of 5 other customers inside.

23/05/2026: This is a complete tourist trap , if you like and think olive garden is "good real" Italian then this the place for you. But if you didnt travel 1000s of miles to be given food barely definable as Italian then don't come here. I ordered a meal with black truffle (one their most expensive first courses ) and they forgot the truffle so I paid 20 euro for a ball of mozz and some green salad ....after I complained they came back with some sort of shavings that was anything but black truffles...it was ok not even worth 12 nevermind 18. Service and people were great but they set a bad taste for me the rest of the night. Location is ok as well.

13/05/2026: Tourist trap restaurant... I ordered a mixed salad which was served in a cheap salad bowl... no effort whatsoever... lots of lettuce, an open can of tuna, and two sad-looking pieces of tomato. Absolutely no dressing! I was told that oil and vinegar were on the table (!). Impersonal service... I do not recommend it.
