14/09/2025: A great place to hang out with friends... a very, very nice and historic pub!! Excellent selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles, and excellent food too, with top-notch burgers and very, very good pizzas!!

18/10/2025: I was not at all satisfied with this ice cream shop. As soon as I entered, I was met by two servers—probably a mother and daughter—looking bored, unsmiling, and clearly uninterested. This alone shows that professionalism is lacking. My experience was negative from the start: the lady took the cone with her bare hands, the same ones she had just used to give change to another customer. She didn't just touch it, she actually handled it thoroughly. Then, only afterward, she took a small protective paper cone and put inside what she had already touched with her bare hands. The paradox is that that paper cone exists precisely to prevent the cone from being touched: doing so afterward makes no sense and completely defeats its hygienic function. I ordered dark chocolate ice cream, another disappointment: the color was too light, like hazelnut, and the flavor was flat, more like milk chocolate. The texture was also wrong, not creamy and lacking in character. Unfortunately, after eating it (and not having touched food all day), I felt severe intestinal discomfort in the hours that followed. I don't blame anyone, but it's hard not to connect the two, considering what I saw behind the counter. A disappointing and unreassuring experience. Definitely a place I'll never return to.

06/09/2025: I was here in early September for lunch. Spaghetti with sausage for my daughter and pizza for me. Unfortunately, I'm forced to give the food a poor rating. The pizza seemed frozen, the spaghetti tasted like nothing, and the poor-quality beer tasted like sparkling water. Although the place is beautiful and the waiters are professional, they work hard because they're in the center of Florence and have daily staff turnover. If it were a restaurant on the outskirts of town, it would have closed a long time ago.

27/08/2025: It was quiet when I visited ... but that could be as I arrived just after 7:30, and everywhere is at that time in F. The campari spritz were tip top, and the food looked amazing, but I didn't eat.

24/08/2025: Excellent location, very green and pleasant garden, excellent pizza and antipasti. You can choose from a simple pizza or a typical Tuscan lunch or dinner with genuine, local products. The night we went to Scuderie de l'Antinoro with friends, we had an appetizer and a pizza. Unfortunately, many customers that evening requested pizza (which is understandable because it was really good, with a decent crust, but not overpowering), so there was quite a wait. The waiter is the owner, but they offered us an extra beer and water, and then when paying the bill, they also offered us an amaro and even gave us a small discount. The gesture was greatly appreciated because it doesn't happen everywhere; it was truly a very welcome gesture! We'll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: I had pizza there a few weeks ago, along with an appetizer. It was good, but not as exceptional as the name suggests. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was average. A good place for pizza.

01/10/2025: We passed by this wonderful place during our Florence trip and liked its atmosphere, so we made a reservation for dinner. The food is wonderful. The meat I ordered was incredibly delicious and cooked exactly as I wanted. The waiter was extremely polite and helpful. We loved it. We recommend it.

05/10/2025: We're inside the Casa del Popolo in San Martino alla Palma, and the restaurant looks really good. The hills above Scandicci provide an excellent backdrop to this location, which is above average for a CDP. We tried the pizza and desserts... everything was excellent. Lots of variety with a very extensive menu... perhaps too much so. Good selection of beers. Prices are a bit high for a Casa del Popolo, but in line with the quality of the offerings.

01/09/2025: Pizzeria in the hills of Scandicci, a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful terrace with a view. Fast and friendly service, a wide selection of excellent pizzas. I'll definitely be back.

07/07/2025: My boyfriend is from Umbria and he says this pizza is true to the original! Maybe a little too thin for me, but still very good. There is always a good variety of choices.

24/05/2025: Courtesy and kindness.. you are/will be in the right place! Wonderful low and light pizza. Not much choice but I don't think it's necessary to have more, all the classic toppings are there! The only flaw, in my opinion, is the mix between those who stop in the restaurant and the take-out orders.. let's say that apparently they could do better! Waiting to have "another" slice of pizza that we are served all the take-out orders of the moment/time is not very nice. Anyway, Congratulations!👏👏

29/09/2025: Nice place. The outdoor space is definitely more charming, but the interior is also well-maintained and well-lit. The waiters are attentive and friendly, the food is good. Plenty of convenient parking is available.

28/09/2025: High-quality dishes, well-presented, and good pizza. A wide selection of meat and seafood first courses, delicious (and plentiful) fregola, and exquisite tagliolini with squid, burrata, and chopped pistachios. The desserts are beautifully presented and delicious. Nice place, attentive and precise service, but a bit cold. Average/high prices, definitely not a restaurant/pizzeria for everyone. Update September 2025: Unfortunately, we found uncleaned shrimp in all the fregola pasta we ordered. This is unacceptable in a restaurant with these prices.

15/10/2025: Excellent experience here. Food was excellent and the service was above and beyond from Aldo, Ambra, and Maicol. Had great conversation with them and made some great friends! Also did a cooking class while at the resort - was a once in a lifetime experience with Carmelo and Ambra. Absolutely recommend!

28/09/2025: We waited an hour for our food. One of us was served half an hour before the others. For €15, we got three small, dry pieces of fish. However, the organic Chianti wine was very good. The server was very pleasant. We didn't order dessert.

09/09/2025: Ristorante Corsini is a small gem nestled in the splendid setting of Corsini Park, beneath the medieval towers overlooking Fucecchio. The location is unique: nestled between history, nature, and a romantic English garden that creates a truly special atmosphere. Reserving was quick and easy. I asked for a table inside, and the manager, with great kindness, seated us in a cozy and intimate room. The welcome was perfect: as soon as we were seated, we were served a warm schiacciata, which already gave us a hint of the quality of the dinner. We started with an appetizer of coccoli and prosciutto, delicious and served with great care. Then came the star of the evening: the Florentine steak, brought on a hot cutting board to keep it at the perfect temperature. A true poem: tender, juicy, flavorful, with that salted butter sensation that only a few chefs can achieve. The wine list is interesting and well-thought out; we chose a Chianti, perfect for pairing with the meat. To round out the dinner, we were more than satisfied with a homemade dessert prepared by the chef. The service was impeccable: attentive but never intrusive, making us feel at home yet pampered. The value for money was excellent: €60 per person for appetizers, steak, dessert, and wine is more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food and the beauty of the location. A restaurant worth discovering and one that I will definitely be returning to. Kudos to the entire staff!
