12/04/2025: Vivo del Carmine is an excellent pizzeria in the heart of San Frediano, even with just a margherita you can savor the freshness of the product, the specialty of the dough and the kindness of the waiters, especially Dennis!

15/04/2025: I recently had lunch in this tavern in the heart of Figline Valdarno. The restaurant is located practically in the centre, inside a historic building, which gives a certain charm to the environment but also entails some limitations, such as a very small bathroom and not suitable for people with disabilities. The internal space is limited, with few tables available, so I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want to have lunch comfortably seated. The menu is surprisingly broad, with a good choice of first courses, second courses and side dishes. The raw materials seemed to be of high quality, and the table service was quite fast, which makes it the ideal place for a quick but satisfying lunch. The only downside: the prices of some dishes, a little above average. For example, a plate of pasta with pesto for €10 is certainly abundant, but it is still expensive due to the simplicity of the dish. Overall, I recommend it for those looking for a tasty and quick meal in the centre, but taking into account the parking difficulties and limited spaces.

18/01/2025: Avoid! Very poor quality industrial cold cuts. Excellent pizza dough, the rest is to be forgotten. Never and never again.

18/05/2025: We booked lunch after a basketball game and there were 27 of us! Excellent and fast service. The tortelli with ragù were delicious, but the real surprise that everyone appreciated was the tagliatelle with mushrooms: FABULOUS! Generous quantities and fair price! Thank you so much! If we return to those parts we will definitely see each other again!

17/04/2025: You also eat with your eyes, Candlelit dinner... thanks also no I prefer to enjoy the food with my eyes too. However, don't take the vegetarian dish... the artichoke was fine, the rest was passable, but there was a sort of inedible sponge covered with equally unworthy vegetables. Whoever was with me had the beef fillet... they asked for it rare and unfortunately they were overcooked. Goodbye

24/05/2025: Courtesy and kindness.. you are/will be in the right place! Wonderful low and light pizza. Not much choice but I don't think it's necessary to have more, all the classic toppings are there! The only flaw, in my opinion, is the mix between those who stop in the restaurant and the take-out orders.. let's say that apparently they could do better! Waiting to have "another" slice of pizza that we are served all the take-out orders of the moment/time is not very nice. Anyway, Congratulations!👏👏

22/02/2025: Historic pizzeria in Sesto Fiorentino with the best pizza ever! New management with welcoming and trained staff. Now the order service also works great with respected times. Even on Saturday evenings pizzas were set for 8pm and at 8.10pm I was already out with the tray. The variety of pizzas has also been renewed and with more choice, although for me the classic mushroom without mozzarella remains the top of the pizzas!! Now they also make cuddles, today I got them and I must say they were very good and crunchy on the outside despite being cold. Freshly baked I think they are world-class. The products are good and the pizzas have a low and crunchy base. Highly recommended

09/05/2025: Pizzeria by the slice which also offers takeaway and table service, I stopped in. 1 month 2 times: the first time I took a whole pizza, then 2 pieces Fresh ingredients, shallow pizza as I like it, and compliments to the girl who serves quickly and kindly

02/06/2025: terrible service from the girl who took our order at 9:40 pm. First of all, the girl accidentally spilled coke on one of our friends and didn't even offer to change the bottle with a new one. The appetizer arrived after 10 minutes but all the first courses arrived 40 MINUTES after we finished the appetizer. Everyone was hungry. Strangely, after having asked for the order, everything arrived after 5 minutes. All the other tables that arrived with us had already left while we were still waiting for our order. It is not possible to have this type of service in a well-known restaurant.

31/05/2025: Berberè was recommended by the host of our Airbnb. The food is made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. The wait staff was kind and happy to have us there. Try the crostini with anchovy, butter, and grated lemon peel. It was delicious! They do charge a 2€ coperta per person, but most places do.

29/05/2025: Stopped here for some food , got a table and asked for a drink , the ignorant waitress didn't have what I asked for , she went off and spoke to another member of staff pointing at me and making comments and pulling a face , rude and unprofessional , ordered food, paid ( with a service charge !!!!! Should call it rubbish service charge ) and went , this company will never get my buisness again.

02/04/2025: Excellent GLUTEN-FREE pizza, exceptional dough, fried dough and welcome prosecco, all GLUTEN-FREE. Average prices and quick and very friendly service. We will definitely be back.

29/04/2025: I was in this place on a Monday evening, i.e. the evening of the events, and I understood that it is simply the evening of the chicken spinner.... Everything is expensive starting from the theoretically free parking but you pay €5 without any receipt obviously, not to mention the sky-high prices of the drinks.... I think it is better to go there on the other days of the week.

05/05/2025: What a fantastic find in Florence! We had pizza, carbonara, and a burrata salad — and every dish was absolutely delicious. The pizza had a perfect, crispy crust with rich, fresh toppings. The carbonara was creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. And the burrata salad? So fresh and silky, it practically melted in my mouth! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. They were quick, helpful, and full of great energy.
