It will be the fourth year in a row that I have visited him, but despite the loyalty of a loyal customer; this time I noticed a huge difference in the dishes with a lack of choice and unfortunately the prices have risen. Waiters advise future customers to give them a little more privacy by not hovering over them maniacally.

27/07/2024: Well unfortunately nothing to eat 4 half slices of bread and a poor quality caprese for €30.50 seems too much to me. A glass of wine (one finger) €5. Service, absent, the waiter didn't even know he was a waiter I presume.

01/09/2024: Spiace, dopo 50 e passa recensioni doverne dare una negativa, anche se il voto finale è 5. Location voto 6. Voto sufficiente. Nella via questa pizzeria è adiacente ad un'altra. Menu 7,5. Quel che si mangiato è più che buono. Le pizze, a detta di mia moglie e i miei figli, sono di qualità organolettiche superiori alla media e anche gli ingredienti usati sono ok. Conto 6. Corretto, nulla da eccepire. Servizio 0,5. Ordiniamo tre pizze diverse; io non ho fame ma per non dover guardare loro che mangiano scelgo un contorno. Mi aspetto che i quattro piatti, ancorché dissimili, arrivino insieme. No. Arriva il mio contorno. E basta. Nell'attesa (25 minuti circa alla fine), i miei figli spiluccano dal mio piatto. Quando arrivano le pizze è quasi vuoto. Guardo loro mangiare e finisco quel poco che è rimasto. In un famoso reality culinario, 4 Ristoranti, chef Borghese ama spesso ripetere che i commensali vanno serviti tutti insieme. Ma forse io non venivo considerato "un commensale". E il "contorno", evidentemente, è un piatto che potevo far a meno di richiedere. Forse è la prassi di questo locale o dell'intero settore della ristorazione. Non lo so. Non mi mai capitato di "dover ordinare solo un contorno". Se mi dovesse succedere nuovamente in futuro, a scanso di equivoci, chiederò a mia moglie e ai miei figli: "Telefonatemi quando state per finire, così passo a pagare".

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO. The place appears warm and welcoming the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country. The staff is quick but a bit resolute. Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes. The mise en place is good.

06/08/2024: Servizio caotico sgarbato ed incompetente, cibo scadente, mangiato pasta e vongole praticamente senza sale e sapore.

01/07/2024: It was our first day of arrival and we actually just wanted to have something to eat and went to the pizzeria despite the slightly worse rating and we were completely surprised. I can say with certainty that this was my best pizza out of the 5-6 pizzas I ate during my trip to Italy. It's a simple restaurant with great prices and super tasty pizza. The lady at the service was also super warm and accommodating.

06/08/2024: Spaghetti with sauce and mushrooms, guess what, without mushrooms🤣🤣. Luckily the staff is very kind and helpful, it saves you if you don't know where to eat and pass by

30/07/2024: Il Cimatori, tambien 5 Amici, es un ambiente muy recomendable para comer la verdadera comida florentina/toscana, sin turistadas pero adecuado a quien pasa rápidamente por Florencia. La bistecca, la ribollita, la tagliata, la tagliatella.... Y el buen vino chianti o lo que quieran. A no perder.

27/04/2024: Cold environment, poorly balanced first courses (too much sauce or too much cream compared to the truffle) Dishes that are found in a school canteen in terms of quality. The watery pizza with too much mozzarella and few ingredients (3 slices of ham, 4 frankfurters and 3 slices of salami)... the desire to try dessert has passed Bad experience, absolutely not recommended... better fast food just before.

26/07/2024: Ottima locazione , buono il cibo, servizio da migliorare. Trascorsa una serata piacevole a bordo Piscina. Facilmente raggiungibile.

25/07/2024: Il posto ideale per passare un momento conviviale con la famiglia e amici ascoltando buona musica e il personale ci ha dato un eccellente servizio.

The place is nice, well looked after and has recently renewed the menu with new and particular dishes. The menus are water and food proof, printed on plasticized argopet paper, pleasant to the touch. It has a comfortable outdoor terrace. Friendly and pleasant staff. Price a little high, but the raw materials are excellent. The bread with little salt threw me a little.

25/07/2024: Beautiful Italian place with delicious pizzas. Fresh ingredients (even fresh artichoke on the pizza). The tagliata di manzo was also delicious. Absolutely recommended!

19/07/2024: Embarrassing experience. I order and PAY 4 pizzas for an evening with friends. My friend comes by to collect them and they make her repay. 2 different bills for the same pizzas with a difference of 8 euros, I spent 31.50 and my friend 23.50. Embarrassing. I don't thank my friend for the pizzas because I knew I had already paid for them and she doesn't thank me because she knew she paid for them. EMBARRASSING I called the following morning to have the bill redone which didn't add up and to tell them about the embarrassing thing that had happened and I was told €27.00! I mean, but don't you make peace with your brain?!?! Follow a price list right?!?!.... Same 4 pizzas, 3 different people we came across, 3 different accounts. I have no words. End of the embarrassing comedy, we get 31.50 back for the 55.00 spent for 4 pizzas and it ends there. In all senses. Watch out for the math that doesn't add up.

15/08/2024: My last night in Montecatini and I wanted to have a nice meal. I was disappointed here. I got steak but couldn’t understand why I didn’t get a steak knife. Understood when I cut it, a butter knife would have done, cooked to perfection. I ordered the roast potatoes, gorgeous but unable to finish them as I had enough in the steak and crostini to start.

16/08/2024: I'm sorry to write such a review, everyone has to work, but don't take advantage of it with the high prices... Paying 30 euros for 3 take-away pizzas seems too excessive to me... Of which 1 large capricciosa pizza with spicy salami, 1 small one with whuster l' another small one with whuster olives mushrooms... The pizzas are not even as big as traditional pizzas... The dough is really excellent... But this doesn't mean you have to take advantage of the prices...

11/08/2024: Sono stata con mio marito a mangiare la pizza.... pizza, direi più che altro un mollicone! Pizza tipo gomma da masticare, vespe e zanzare sul tavolo.... prezzi allucinanti per essere un locale così semplice e di bassa qualità di pizza! Non tornerò, troppo delusa. 2 pizze semplici, 1 birra media ed acqua... 32 euro!! Roba da pazzi!

18/07/2024: dire che è stata una delusione è dir poco. ordinato tordelli al ragù e ci hanno servito dei ravioli ( ripieno di ricotta e spinaci) con un ragù (lungo) e sciapo. ci chiedono se vogliamo del parmigiano e dopo averne messo un po' sui " tordelli" la cameriera lo porta via!!!!! e se ne avessi voluto mettere un altro po'? ordiniamo poi il dessert.non è presente sul menù (quindi non conosciamo in anticipo il costo ):buoono ma non trascendentale..un normalissimo tiramisù e una sfoglia con crema pasticcera. la sorpresa arriva al momento del conto: ogni dessert è costato 10 euro! forse è passato di lì Iginiio Massari e li ha preparati personalmente?diversamente non si spiega.aggingo per dovere di cronacaa che una bottiglia di acqua san pellegrino da 750ml a 4 euro mi sembra degna compagna dei dessert di cui sopra. che dire? ci siamo sentite prese in giro e " derubate". non si fa così.non ci torneremo.un consiglio:fatevi spiegare cosa sono i tordelli.

08/07/2024: Antipasto commerciale, tordelli e tagliatelle al di sotto dell'aspettativa, cozze ripiene mediocri, trippa mediocre, pollo fritto buono. Ci hanno dato uno scontrino dove c'era solo il prezzo totale e non c'era il costo delle varie voci. Il conto per quello che abbiamo mangiato mi è sembrato alto.
