27/07/2025: Apart from its prime location this place is just a tourist trap. No italian person working there. We had three different plates of pasta and they were tasteless. The tartufo in one plate was like eating a chewing gum. Totally disappointed! Will never go there another time.

23/07/2025: You can tell a lot about an establishment by their restroom. Unfortunately, we had already ordered when I saw the filth and stench. Our steak was pure fat, and the Tuscan soup was all bread. I asked for a box to take the food to our hotel because I felt bad wasting it, and the Romanian manager said it’s not possible. She was awful and rude. I’m only giving 2 stars because our Moroccan waiter was wonderful. There are so many wonderful real Italian restaurants in the Piazza, avoid this one!

23/03/2025: Environment without heating temperature, I don't know but we ate with our coats and a fish starter "il tegamaccio" and both ran away to another restaurant. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night

30/06/2025: Ok la vista, sei direttamente sulla spiaggia e sul mare ma i prezzi sono eccessivi! 22 euro per una frittura di mare SCARSA sono troppi! Per non parlare dei gamberetti in saor.. non cattivi ma 6 gamberetti per 16 euro. Non torneremo.

23/05/2025: Nous avons pris des pizzas et pâtes aux truffes et peperoni. Excellent et prix aussi 77€ pour tous. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

27/07/2025: Abbiamo optato per un filetto alla griglia che ha lasciato molto a desiderare..... stracotto e insipido..... a mio modo non sarebbe neanche stato il caso di portarlo.... abbiamo speso in 5 €. 175,00 per 4 spritz, due bottiglie di acqua un piatto a testa di cui un primo ed un maialino di latte, quattro contorni (che sei obbligato a prendere in quanto il piatto viene portato esclusivamente con tre foglie rucola), tre dessert e quattro caffè.... stracaro......

27/07/2025: Cena per 2. un antipasto misto coi salumi del triglia e li vai sul sicuro e un tagliolino al tartufo un po indietro di sale a mio gusto e quindi chiedo a uno dei camerieri di poter avere al tavolo sale e pepe, ma mai mi sono stati serviti. Come secondo un maialino al forno, non un granché, secco e palesemente riscaldato, fuori caldo e interno freddo, e un filetto al gorgonzola ,buono , da bere una bottiglia d'acqua ,una di vino frizzante della casa ,2 birre icnusa 33cl e poi 4 amari (2 a testa).... totale € 130,00!!!! Roba da matti!! Servizio gentile ma poco attento ,a tratti confusionario. il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto sbilanciato a mio parere,a questi prezzi si mangia in pianura coi piedi nella sabbia!!! Sconsigliato!!!!

12/08/2025: Even in a seafood restaurant, there's no sparkling wine. The first courses are nothing special, and the fried fish is €16 for four squid rings, two octopus, and four shrimp. We ordered the much-vaunted sea bream, and a sea bass arrived, dried out because it had already been passed around the tables. When it arrived, we were told the sea bream was sold out. Later, they said the inexperienced waiter made a mistake and mixed up the dishes at the tables. After complaining, we were told that if we didn't like it, we could go somewhere else. I don't recommend it.

14/08/2025: There's no choice...just pizza. I asked for fries, but they don't even do those. I, who can't eat gluten, had a plate of bresaola, arugula, and parmesan for dinner, which they charged me €15. The table outside where I was was completely broken and full of wood splinters. I'm sorry, but I definitely won't be going back.

09/08/2025: Unfortunately, this place is absolutely run down. It may have been nice once, and the location, including free parking, isn't bad, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. The tables were dirty, the service was incredibly slow, and they even forgot an order, but that can happen, especially if the manager is in charge. He should invest a little money in cleaning and keeping the place safe, which has great potential. The pizzas were mediocre, nothing groundbreaking. But I was really shocked by the play area. Not only is 90 percent of it unusable, but children can't be left unattended there; the swings are broken, there are pieces of broken wood with large splinters, cables hanging down, and everything is very dirty. The lighting system was there... once upon a time. In the dark, children are at serious risk of injury. It's best to avoid it, given the state of the place; it would be a miracle if they had insurance.

02/06/2025: For several years now, whenever I am in the area, I have been happy to stop and eat at Colonnine. Both the first courses, the meat or the pizza are fantastic. I love eating outside under the portico, but the internal rooms are also special. Fantastic staff who always know how to suggest the right wine. More than fair prices, fantastic service.

16/04/2025: Here you can find typical Tuscan specialties such as sbriciolona, ​​pennette al Chianti, stewed wild boar... A stone's throw from Santa Croce is the typical tourist restaurant with a small space on the street and a large, spacious interior. However, some details regarding the food are not convincing. As an appetizer I took the sbriciolona with cherry tomatoes... The sbriciolona, ​​it was pointed out to me by the person originally from Florence who was with me, that in reality it is finocchiona (the same but much thinner). For the second course I chose an entrecote with green pepper, a good part of which was almost inedible as it was all nerves. I forgot the house wine... sold as Chianti it tasted, in my opinion, rather watered down.

29/08/2025: Nice location, nothing to complain about, but a TERRIBLE experience. We ordered pasta with clams and found a not-so-small stone inside. Since we're quiet people, we ate it all anyway, expecting a banal apology and maybe even a free dessert. Moral of the story: when paying, we asked for a small discount for the mix-up. The very rude guy was annoyed that we could request the dish and gave us a €1 discount as a joke. I don't recommend it.

28/08/2025: The owner (or whoever is constantly bossing his staff around) spends more time explaining to guests that it's a restaurant, not a café, than actually caring about service or hospitality. On top of that, it's extremely loud, and chairs and tables are constantly being moved around, making a relaxed meal completely out of the question. If you're into involuntary entertainment, you're welcome to check this dump out – everyone else should steer clear.

10/08/2025: We ordered four pizzas for delivery. I arrived on time, but the pizzas were inedible. They were completely burned on the bottom, and the top was completely stuck to the cardboard box lid. We were forced to reorder from another pizzeria. I strongly advise against this pizzeria.

29/04/2025: Pizza e fritti lontani anniluce dalle bontà napoletane. A parte questo, personale scortese (anche verso i bambini!). Ma soprattutto veri truffaldini: già in strada ti attirano con offerte allettanti (del tutto disattese), sul menù mettono un prezzo che poi non corrisponde al conto (scemi noi a non esser tornati indietro a protestare ma avevamo fretta). In più il classico “non funziona il pos” quindi pagamento solo contanti… insomma, una fregatura da evitare!

27/08/2025: I agree with all the disgruntled people who have spoken out about this restaurant, which should close down because it's such a disgrace to Italian gastronomy. Servers who don't speak a word of English, don't understand your order, and serve you dishes that are almost exactly what you wanted, even if the ingredients are changed. And they have the nerve to charge you for the dishes they took back because of their mistake. They threaten to call the police... what a joke! Absolutely avoid it; it's truly an insult to Italy; they only have a terrace, which unfortunately traps too many tourists.
