18/08/2025: Too bad I can't give it 0 stars. The pizza was awful, probably frozen and low quality. Terrible service: the waitress even made rude jokes in front of my dad. Refine your opinion.

20/07/2025: I stopped in for the first time years ago for no real reason. Since then, it's been a regular stop (even today) on the road between Pisa and Rome. Superb pizza, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a vintage 1980s atmosphere (like all of Orbetello, after all) that I personally find very pleasant. Recommended.

12/10/2025: Definitely should try their chicken and ribs ! There are the normal and spicy chicken (not too spicy just extra spices on top of the chicken) I've tried both and both are delicious and most important thing, very affordable. the chicken is very big, juicy and tender. you should also try their empanadas 😊 There are several fillings, including vegetables. Totally recommend this little gem! Very lovely owner who always smile to everyone around :) And for sure they know how to cook!! They are also open on Sunday! So if you are lazy to cook, especially during weekends, just come and grab some food from here!

27/08/2025: Unfortunately, the new management has completely taken the place's soul away. It's right that changes are made, but the place has completely lost the uniqueness it was known for. :( Update: I visited the place before the holidays. I'm correcting the new management with the changes that have been made to the place.

For me, it holds a special meaning: I've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here, and spent many family dinners—moments I cherish forever. Il Cavallino is and remains a happy place, filled with laughter, music, conviviality, and the flavors that bear Giuseppina's signature: fragrant pizzas, carefully prepared dishes, and that authentic atmosphere that only she has created. 26/10/2025: This was my first time staying at this hotel and restaurant. I'd read the reviews and had been introduced to it by friends. What can I say? The owner was friendly, kind, and helpful, and the staff was courteous and attentive. The rooms were clean, but in need of maintenance, especially the bathroom fixtures. Overall, the 3 stars were well deserved. The price was in line with the services offered. Unfortunately, I can only partially judge the food because I ate the set menu, but the quality was good and the quantity sufficient. A half-hour drive from Pisa isn't a short distance, but staying in the city center and finding parking under the tower would cost much more. Recommended.

22/09/2025: IF YOU KNOW IT, AVOID IT! On Sunday, September 14, 2025, my wife, a friend, and I stopped in Pietrasanta for dinner. We decided to try Trattoria Betty in Piazza del Duomo, and unfortunately, problems immediately began. They seated us at a table with three chairs, but it was set with a central runner for two, and our friend had to eat off the not-so-clean tabletop. We ordered three first courses and two second courses of truly mediocre quality at an astronomical price. A half-fried fish and an off-menu amberjack whose freshness was not shown to us, nor was the weight given. On the side, there were grilled vegetables that looked just like those found in frozen bags at the supermarket. The wine we had chosen from the menu, costing €30, was not available, and we were offered two alternatives that, just from the bill, we saw cost €40. In total, we spent €171, with a €12 charge for three covers. When I pointed out to the owner that there was no cover charge, she began a lengthy and very rude argument, saying that the cover charge doesn't just cover the tablecloth and napkin, but also the use of the table, seating, etc., and that she thought it was fair for a customer to eat on a scratched wooden surface. Perhaps we should have called the Municipal Police to also complain about the lack of transparency in prices, but we decided to limit ourselves to strongly advising against frequenting this establishment.

06/09/2025: We went to this wonderful restaurant yesterday. It was fantastic!! The service, value for money, and the food were all wonderful! We would love to come back!

20/07/2025: Bella location vicino alla terrazza con meravigliosa vista sul golfo Scarlino-Follonica. Ampia scelta. Ottimi i crostini toscani e buonissime le tagliatelle al cinghiale. Servizio veloce e cordiale . Scarlino e' davvero un incanto e dopo cena vale davvero una passeggiata per un tramonto mozzafiato

28/06/2025: Essendo sola a cena ho preso una pizza da asporto, era ottima, non avevo dubbi perché questo ristorante pizzeria è una garanzia...al miliardo per cento... bravissimi

30/10/2025: First time in Pisa. We ordered takeout. The pizza was very good, but we had ordered a specific drink, and instead we received something else. When we called them, they hung up on us several times, probably hoping to rob us. Never again.

24/10/2025: Always ordered takeout, more or less punctual, but we know how Pisa traffic is. Always a sure thing, though, really good pizza, Neapolitan style with a nice, thick, soft crust. The more you order, the more you get: they often deliver a Pepsi in addition to the pizzas, sometimes fried pizza balls (delicious when hot), other times (with 6/7 pizzas) a bite (or 2!!) of Pepsi!! We've never figured out how much things cost, in any case not much, highly recommended!!

08/06/2025: Locale con tavoli anche esterni in pratica un cortiletto sotto le finestre, menù meditteraneo con pizza bassa e croccante, le pizze sono ben cucinate, il personale mi è sembrato freddo e sopratutto distratto, per il servizio e per la location ( siamo in zona campo di Marte ) i prezzi sono esagerati, Margherita 12 euro, imbarazzante i due euro per una aggiunta di parmigiano grattugiato sulla pizza!!!

28/05/2025: Intentamos hacer una reserva en otro restaurante, pero el servicio era tan malo que nos rendimos. Llegamos a FuoriPiazza por casualidad y fuimos muy bien recibidos. El personal era muy atento y la comida era deliciosa. ¡Buena elección!

20/09/2025: A restaurant surrounded by greenery where good food reigns supreme. Professional service with a touch of lightheartedness makes it even more appealing. The desserts and pizzas are excellent.

15/08/2025: A very cute place nestled in the greenery of the Torre del Lago pine forest. Fast and friendly service. The tordelli with ragù are simply fantastic, and the pizzas are also very good. Easy to digest and crispy dough. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the dishes, which are truly worthy. Recommended!
