11/09/2025: Sayonara is a very popular lunch spot among locals if you're spending the whole day at the beach. There's almost always a free table, and the food comes quickly. Of course, it's not a fine Michelin-starred restaurant, but for a very relaxed beach atmosphere, the food is really high-quality and good. You order using a slip of paper that's brought to your table. You write your name on it and check the dishes you want. You hand it over to the cashier, and when the food is ready, your name is announced, and you can pick it up. I find that quite funny. Sayonara also has its own, not-so-small beach with loungers and umbrellas for rent. Unfortunately, we didn't ask how much they cost because we always stayed at other "Bagnos," such as Bagno Carlo Rossi, Bagno Flora, or Bagno Grazia. The restaurant isn't as busy in the evenings, so if you can't get a seat at the neighboring and very popular "La Caretta" and you're hungry, you can't go wrong here. The pizza Margherita for €5 was our perennial favorite, also available to take back to our vacation apartment. My tip: the swordfish for €13. The house wine is also delicious and, like everything else, absolutely affordable.

08/09/2025: I stopped for a beer with friends, and we got 1 focaccia, chips and croquettes to nibble on, the focaccia is more of a "scrocchiarella" than a focaccia, nice atmosphere and very good beer

20/07/2025: Bella location vicino alla terrazza con meravigliosa vista sul golfo Scarlino-Follonica. Ampia scelta. Ottimi i crostini toscani e buonissime le tagliatelle al cinghiale. Servizio veloce e cordiale . Scarlino e' davvero un incanto e dopo cena vale davvero una passeggiata per un tramonto mozzafiato

31/08/2025: We just had the best macchiato in two weeks of vacation, thanks to the skill of a tattooed, modest, and smiling brunette. The other curly-haired employee was also friendly.

20/09/2025: A restaurant surrounded by greenery where good food reigns supreme. Professional service with a touch of lightheartedness makes it even more appealing. The desserts and pizzas are excellent.

15/08/2025: A very cute place nestled in the greenery of the Torre del Lago pine forest. Fast and friendly service. The tordelli with ragù are simply fantastic, and the pizzas are also very good. Easy to digest and crispy dough. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the dishes, which are truly worthy. Recommended!

22/08/2025: Excellent experience, the pizzas were very good. I came at lunchtime, right after closing time, and they still served. The staff was kind and helpful. Despite an issue with the pizzas, they fixed it immediately without me even mentioning it. Very nice and welcoming place. Perfect.

10/02/2025: I've known this place for years because my brothers-in-law live there, and my husband is from there. I don't like the type of pizza they make, but that's my taste. Otherwise, they make a somewhat 1980s-style cuisine, but the food has always been good, and still is. But the prices are absolutely not! They've gone up way too much. This is just not right.

07/07/2025: 24.05.30 They made such a pizza and carbonara that our ears were ringing! I think it's a family business. A nice cold Peroni beer went with everything. We arrived early, nothing was open yet, around 5 o'clock in the afternoon, but they politely offered us a seat. Other diners were even spreading the tablecloth and looking at us like a pyromaniac at a wet straw. We sat down and could order, and we got it 10 minutes later, since it was just us. The pizza was heavenly, my son licked my carbonara and ate it up. Good place!!!***** And the point: we paid under 50 erika with more drinks for the 3 of us!

11/06/2025: Scrivo una recensione negativa perche sono rimasta molto infastidita dal comportamento del signore alla cassa. Eravamo in tre e volevamo pagare ognuno una cifra diversa ( avevamo da noi fatto il conto, chi offriva da bere , ecc..) ma il signore aveva già deciso che il conto era da pagare in parti uguali. Ho mostrato il mio disappunto ma ha fatto orecchie da mercante e ci ha passato il pos per la cifra da lui stabilita, non ho voluto fare discussioni tanto non voleva ‘sentire’ Per il resto ..ambiente e cibo piu che sufficienti.

07/05/2025: Bel posto, pulito, e ben organizzato. Ho cenato soltanto con la pizza, quindi mi limito a dare solo un breve giudizio.. ottima.. e servita in tempi molto rapidi, dato che era sabato ed era pieno.. Prezzi in linea..

05/09/2025: The food was truly delicious and the service excellent! Highly recommended... my mom can't eat anything with lactose or gluten, and one of the waiters, who remembered it perfectly when we returned the second time, recommended a very, very good and healthy dish. Keep up the good work 🥰

02/06/2025: For several years now, whenever I am in the area, I have been happy to stop and eat at Colonnine. Both the first courses, the meat or the pizza are fantastic. I love eating outside under the portico, but the internal rooms are also special. Fantastic staff who always know how to suggest the right wine. More than fair prices, fantastic service.

17/07/2025: The pizza by the slice is very good, well-filled and flavorful. The ham and cheese filling is superb, with a crispy crust. There's a few tables outside under a small veranda, or a couple of high-top stools inside. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the size of the pieces isn't standard, but you can customize it.

30/10/2025: The food (pizza and pizza by the slice) were better some time ago, but the worst thing was the owner, who was very rude when answering questions.

15/10/2025: We had pizza. It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended. The service was a bit lackluster, but it was okay. We would go back anytime.

27/10/2025: The pizza was nothing out of the ordinary, but fairly priced. My wife wanted to order hot tea, but this wasn’t on the menu. The waitress kindly ordered tea from another cafe and brought it over for us!

14/10/2025: Stopped by by chance... while visiting Volterra. Superb chickpea pizza. Excellent prices. Stop by, it's worth it.
