17/07/2024: Nice campsite, small but functional room, the only flaw was that the bedroom, wardrobes and kitchen were invaded by ants despite being careful to keep everything closed. Quiet camp but too quiet, having a 9 year old child I expected it to be successful between entertainment and children playing a little but in reality this was not the case. Non-existent entertainment except for the 10 minute evening baby dance. A little too flat. Luckily there are a few very nice villages to visit, Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri are closer, Marina di Campo is half an hour away. Spectacular beaches, I would return to Elba but not to this campsite. Positive note relax lots of relaxation. But for children little or nothing.

14/07/2024: We tried the stay in a luxori lodge tent. The tent is beautiful, well organized and spacious. Equipped with a comfortable and equipped kitchenette. Comfortable bed. The only flaw is the heat during the day, despite the air conditioning. In fact, since it was not insulated, the tent sheet overheated and the tent reached an absurd temperature despite the air conditioning at 16 degrees all day. Another flaw is the animation which was entrusted to another company compared to the previous year and was decidedly worse.

15/08/2024: The pizza may be good, but the service needs to be reviewed. When asked for cutlery to cut the pizza into small pieces to allow a 2 year old to eat, we were told that the restaurant's policy is "to serve the pizza already cut so as not to provide cutlery". Beyond the questionable choice of forcing your customers to eat with their hands, having to insist on getting cutlery for a child is certainly not normal.

10/08/2024: Given the prices, the quantity of dough and fillings could be a little more generous. However, the quality is always very high.

04/09/2024: The food came quickly. I had a very interesting pizza variation with pear truffle honey parmesan and walnuts. In principle it's tasty, but after 2-3 pieces you'll have enough. More suitable as a dessert. My friend had a seafood pizza and thought it tasted good. The service is nice, but anything but on point. The drinks were all empty, the pizza was still half there, but no one took a new drink order. Conclusion: it fits, it was okay. However, there are better places.

03/09/2024: We found the food very tasty (great pizza and fresh, tasty seafood) and the service was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The prices are on the menu at the entrance, so I don't understand what other reviewers are complaining about—yes, it's not cheap, but it's a tourist spot and everyone who comes here knows that. We liked it so much that we came back with the whole family a few days later, and again everyone was very happy.

27/08/2024: Buffet aperitif, finally! After searching far and wide throughout Empoli, I'm happy to have found a place that reminds me of the aperitifs of my hometown. Friendly and helpful staff, well-kept interiors, light but pleasant alcohol. The only real flaw was the music outside the club which was really too loud: my partner and I had to move away from the initial position chosen because we couldn't hear each other. For the rest, I recommend!

05/08/2024: This morning I stood there at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to order, with the barmaid pretending not to see or hear me, while "known" people continued to come in and take the order ahead of me. Usually the barmaid in question doesn't shine with friendliness and professionalism, this morning I think the limit has been reached. Even if they pay me to have coffee I won't go back.

03/09/2024: We had a drink and ate a fruit cup. Everything excellent, with the same service.

29/08/2024: Very delicious pizzas and good service. They charge you for the cutlery (without asking, they give you some long breadsticks and then they charge you €6) Otherwise all good!!

13/07/2024: PLEASE NOTE: THE VERY POSITIVE RATES ARE QUITE "OLD" AND RELATE TO THE PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT. I found this place with The Fork which made no mention of the change in management. First surprise upon arrival: there is no beer. Having ordered the pizza, the waiter arrives and tells me that there isn't even porchetta. I change the pizza with one where there was mortadella... but there isn't even any mortadella. The pizzas arrive: the Fornaccio pizza, on the spicy salami side, full of oil. The dough was tasteless and perhaps a little overcooked, it felt like chewing flatbread. In all this, someone from the restaurant was there touching their feet in the room. Last gem: the award for best pizzeria of the year 2015 is hanging on the wall. You do it.

07/07/2024: Nothing to do with the previous ownership! Pizza without flavor and poor quality ingredients. Furthermore, poor understanding of the order. I gave 3 stars to the environment item because it was delivered to your home so it cannot be rated.

23/02/2024: I have known this tasty pizzeria by the slice for 30 years, this is its originality. It is the right size both for a snack and for a takeaway dinner at an economical price, the place is small and charming ♡

10/08/2024: Locale carino ed accogliente, abbiamo preso 2 pizze ( margherita e bologna, con mortadella e pistacchio)…a dir poco buone; una bottiglietta di fanta, una di birra analcolica e un’acqua e per finire due tiramisu’. Abbiamo pagato 50€ Servizio molto rapido e cortese, super consigliato.

05/08/2024: Their classic margherita pizza was solid, and they have a nice location. But if you're in town for a limited time, there are just too many better options (right down the street) to spend a dinner here. We did the "Pizza Experience" for 2 to try a broad sample of their menu, and each successive pizza was a step worse than the one before. After the fried bread pizza, it culminated in a squid ink and blue cheese pizza (???), for which they give you a wet nap for your fingers. Gross. You'd be better off ordering 2 margheritas (or dining elsewhere). The service was friendly enough, but, boy, was it slow! Maybe if you ordered one pizza it'd be all right, but for their premium experience, we were waiting 20+ minutes between courses. They also charge a $3 coperto (service charge) per person, and while I'll say fair enough and readily pay this at any restaurant that brings a slice of bread and some olive oil or other light snacks, they do zilch for it here.

30/01/2024: Le pizze sono un pò piccole come formato ma di buona qualità e l'impasto leggero , le abbiamo prese d'asporto e anche a casa arrivate tiepide non erano male .Consigliato

18/03/2024: Fast, courteous, precise service. This time, it's our second time here, the portions were too small: 4 meatballs in a bowl and 3 very thin half cutlets, almost like wafers. In terms of flavour, however, the two dishes (meatballs in sauce and breaded and fried cutlets with sauce and capers, pizzaiola style) were good. It's a shame though if you're still hungry. Prices in line with the type of restaurant/pizzeria.

28/08/2024: Seafood pizza basically good but the prawn on the pizza was decidedly not fresh with flaccid meat and dark color (I won't tell you what came out when the head was cut). The worst thing was the indifference of the owner, a place to avoid.

21/08/2024: We went last night (4 adults plus a two-year-old): we asked for the seafood risotto which was raw and not mixed with the seasoning (ready-made rice style in a bag). For the child we took a plate of spaghetti with sauce (they only had spaghetti and gnocchi as a choice) which, in addition to being very poorly presented, were floating in the cooking water and sauce, which turned out to be quite acidic. A dish absolutely unsuitable for a two-year-old child, even though the child's age had been pointed out. Furthermore, the house wine presented as still Vermentino was watered down and of low quality. Not recommended

28/07/2024: Cozy place and friendly counter staff. Unfortunately, at 11 he had almost nothing left. Very few sweet pieces, no oranges for a juice, I then asked for ice to put in the juice (of finished orange) and not even that... I hope it was just that day... (Then I want to warn you that if you smoke just behind the corner of the counter... And you can hear it! 😐)

13/07/2024: Veramente vergognoso Le pizze avevano tutte e due e bordo bruciato oltretutto quando glielo hai fatto presente si è pure innervosito PPS se non sai stare al pubblico stai a casa consiglio di un pizzaiolo con 13 anni di esperienza!!!
