28/09/2025: I only used the bistro services without accommodation. It is located right on the square where I had dinner. I ordered their Quattro stagioni pizza, which tasted quite good and also with beer. The service was quite attentive.

10/09/2025: A restaurant located in Montecatini Alto. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, the food is excellent, and the staff is exceptional. I recommend it to anyone in the area.

15/09/2025: I always preface this by saying 1. I rate considering that the person I rate is putting in (presumably) their utmost effort. 2. My rating is 'relative' to the type of location/restaurant, etc. That is, there can be 5 stars for a campsite as well as for a ***** Superior hotel. Naturally, they have a different 'value'. That said... We wanted to go beyond the current 3.5 reviews, even though, to be honest, they're already a little suspicious (especially given the considerable number of reviews). But considering that our clear and simple goal was focused on a good pizza in a nice setting, we wanted to proceed. Given, basically, the advertised wood-fired oven and that this pizzeria appeared 'convenient' and charming, overlooking the harbor and with ready parking (I'm writing this in mid-September). Result: Simple/rustic setting... appreciable if you like. Without dwelling on some of the details, among which the white plastic chairs that no longer even have speakers stand out... the tablecloths🤦... Pizzas. More than decent. Thin dough that you may or may not like, as opposed to the "thick and fluffy" one. Negative notes. *A: "Have you booked?", a bit indignant upon arrival. Please note... with 80% of the tables empty at the time and remaining that way until we left, it seemed truly unwelcoming. *A final coffee that, if not the worst I've ever had, is certainly tops. Indescribable, unsuspecting. Like a second, maybe third, serving. * The final price for two pizzas + two medium beers + one water + one coffee was close to 50 euros... Not fair. Unacceptable: 6.50 euros for an ordinary medium beer... never seen that before. Undoubtedly a beautiful location, convenient, but never again.

29/08/2025: As you can see from my profile, I'm not usually given overly negative reviews, but unfortunately, we had a rather unpleasant experience here. Knowing the area is very busy, we booked that same evening, but when we arrived, despite several waitresses present, no one greeted us. We were eventually led to our table, next to a rather chaotic and cluttered counter—not exactly a great place. Overall, the place is still nice, rustic, and certainly enjoys a beautiful view of the harbor from above, despite being tucked away from the city center. We ordered a Napoli pizza and a slice of grilled swordfish, which turned out to be breaded and wallowing in a sea of ​​oil; the fish itself had no real flavor. The pizza wasn't the best either; the sauce was very watery and the mozzarella melted in chunks. The food didn't leave a great impression, but what really went wrong was the service. Not just the wait at the entrance, which is understandable, but also (and especially) afterwards: first, no one brings us menus, and then, a long time later, my fish arrives. No sign of the pizza. We even asked for information, but everything was rather vague about the preparation. In the end, it arrived long after I'd already finished the fish, so we ate at different times, which is something that really shouldn't happen. The quality-price ratio, given what we tasted, was absolutely not worth it. Besides the slow service, it should also be said that the girls weren't very helpful.

08/09/2025: If you want to eat well, stop in front of this place... and find another. One star is already too many. Leaving aside the rude and annoyed attitude of the waiters, the real problem was the organization: after more than an hour from ordering, we were asked what we had ordered. This speaks volumes about the restaurant's seriousness. When we asked for an explanation and to finally have our dishes, we were told to wait another 20 minutes. The result? We left without having eaten practically anything.

02/09/2025: Let's talk about the color of the light! We had to wear sunglasses, the light was so cold and intense. The food, however, was excellent!

17/07/2025: The pizza by the slice is very good, well-filled and flavorful. The ham and cheese filling is superb, with a crispy crust. There's a few tables outside under a small veranda, or a couple of high-top stools inside. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the size of the pieces isn't standard, but you can customize it.

14/06/2025: I was looking for a fairly quick lunch spot like pizza, well I wander around and there's the market then I managed to find a nice little place and I go to this squalid place, I go in and I only see 4 trays of pizza with almost identical flavors in the end... I choose a piece of pizza with sausage and I have to say it's really disgusting if this is pizza that I really don't want to go back for ever, I repeat it's a disgusting pizza, I had had a tea and that was the only thing that was saved, I don't recommend it, this place is totally disgusting

22/08/2025: Excellent experience, the pizzas were very good. I came at lunchtime, right after closing time, and they still served. The staff was kind and helpful. Despite an issue with the pizzas, they fixed it immediately without me even mentioning it. Very nice and welcoming place. Perfect.

05/08/2025: A family-friendly place. Enjoy classic cecina. The pizza is constantly evolving, using premium flours. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

12/10/2025: Dropped in for lunch and oh my God they do woodfired pizzas. Also share a Caprese salad. Food was divine, pizzas were on point. Definitely recommend if you're in this area.

20/06/2025: Consigliato da amici, da parecchio tempo volevo provare questa pizzeria. Il posto è semplice, ma carino, anche se purtroppo in questo periodo è penalizzato dai lavori stradali della tramvia. Il personale è gentile e veloce. Le pizze sono superlative, sicuramente tra le migliori di Firenze. Abbiamo preso tre pizze gourmet, tutte buonissime. Impasto leggero, spessore della base e del cornicione giusto, cottura ottima e condimenti di primissima qualità, con profumi buonissimi. Ritorneremo di sicuro.

16/06/2025: Esperienza non molto positiva a Don Fefè di San Donato a Firenze. Il 4 giugno ho organizzato la cena di classe di mio figlio. Eravamo 52 e ci hanno fatto giro pizza + acqua e 1 bibita a 25€ a persona, indistintamente fra adulti e ragazzi/bambini. La pizza non era male. Abbiamo avuto da discutere soprattutto con una cameriera con le meches bionde, perchè alcuni bambini bevevano solo acqua e noi abbiamo chiesto di portare a noi genitori la bibita che non hanno preso i ragazzi e convertirla in birra o spritz. In 2 siamo riusciti ad ottenere questa cosa, il terzo no, perchè secondo loro il numero delle bibite prese dai ragazzi non giustificava una birra in più... 25€×52 e anche se fosse stato non vi ci rientrava di portarci una birra in più? In media non è arrivata una pizza a testa, perchè alcuni erano soddisfatti con 2/3 pezzi di pizza.. e non ci rientrava una birra in più? Esperienza da non rifare! Alla cassa ci avevano detto che non c'erano problemi, ma la cameriera evidentemente aveva più potere e alla fine non siamo venuti via contenti.

05/07/2025: It was a rip off, paid 40 EUR for 1 umbrella and 1 sunbed. Just down the road it is 18 EUR . There is no extra on it to justify the high price, the place doesn't look better as the other ones. No table to put your things on. The bay is small, overfilled and the water is dirty.
