17/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo ristorante dopo aver letto qualche recensione e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Piatti molto buoni e personale giovane e gentile. Non abbiamo preso la pasta ma i piatti che arrivavano accanto a noi erano abbondantissimi, per cui se non siete abituati a porzioni maxi, divideteveli! Noi torneremo certamente, se non altro per assaggiare quei primi meravigliosi!

25/06/2025: A trap for both tourists and citizens. I have lived in Lucca for twenty years and I had never been there. We decided to try it with my girlfriend and we immediately regretted it. 20 euros for three quarters of a pizza, one of Arab bread and two cokes is almost a scam, considering that any pizzeria in Lucca charges an average of 8/9 euros for a topped pizza (ENTIRE). In any pizzeria in Lucca, with the same amount, I would have taken two pizzas without problems. Aside from the price, the pizza was not good, which makes the situation worse. Go to Pizzarte or Mi Scialaiu, you spend less, you eat better, more and they also give you tables, chairs and cutlery.

25/06/2025: I go in for a triangle of Margherita pizza and there is none available… in a pizza by the slice… the pizza chef doesn’t even look at me… I go out and say to my wife “how is it possible we don’t have a piece of Margherita??? A woman at the door attacks me… I assume the owner… rude and annoying…

01/06/2025: A little on the edge of the tourist area you can eat an excellent pizza here. The house wine is also of excellent quality. The service is friendly and attentive. A place that is also very popular with locals.

16/04/2025: An absolute tip. We are currently on a pilgrimage on the St. Francis Way and just wanted to treat ourselves to a pizza here in the evening. It was actually the best vegetarian pizza we've ever had. All fresh vegetables - simply amazing. I ate the Pizza Ingo, a recommendation to anyone who wants a heartier pizza. As a starter, the two of us treated ourselves to the starter plate - it tasted just as it looked in the picture - great. And all this with wine, water and espresso at the end at an incredibly affordable price. Everything was rounded off by the friendly and warm service.

09/02/2025: Relaxed chill place, excellent soy cappuccino, surrounded by greenery but also with a closed space on rainy days. In the summer a drink here, an ice cream, are a joy of life. Dogs are welcome. Outside you will find all the parking you want.

03/11/2024: I've been getting pizza from Rugantino for months, always takeaway. Always excellent, good ingredients, light dough balanced between filling and pasta, cooked well. Particularly kind and friendly. Personally I don't find the layout of the room pleasant, but they have a pleasant covered outdoor space.

03/05/2025: Had dinner last night in the company of dear friends from the area. I chose the grilled fish, the others the pizza. Tuscan appetizer with "coccoli", a pleasant surprise. Everything perfect and good. Very good and plentiful fish, I would have also tried the pizza but it will be the next choice. Precise and punctual service, courteous in an environment suitable for everyone, friendly and polite. Nothing to report.... will definitely return!!!!

29/05/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. A great thing is that you can choose the number of croutons you want for €1 (more than fair price) as they are half slices of bread generously seasoned, the meat is excellent (chicken and hamburger) very large also the beer list, as they use the pub next door (Old Prague) the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended 😉.
