24/04/2025: Locale familiare decisamente accogliente, camerieri disponibili e gentili, ma soprattutto simpatico il pizzaiolo-titolare, da cui oltreché la simpatia traspare anche una vera e propria passione per il suo mestiere.
Pur essendoci un menù vasto se ne consiglia l’ottima pizza , rapporto qualità-prezzo molto buono.

15/10/2025: We were here in early September. We had a delicious meal, but the upstairs area is a bit dull. It was very busy and there were lots of locals. Service was also quick and attentive. We made a reservation, which was definitely necessary.
05/10/2025: High price, modest quantities, good quality. We ordered three fillets, unfortunately not rare, a tagliata, a tagliolini, a pappardella, and a white pizza with mushrooms.
The food itself was very good, but expensive for the price given the quantity.
The mushrooms in all the dishes were also excellent (that's what we went for).
The atmosphere, on the first floor, was a bit noisy, but the staff was friendly.
Recommended, but with reservations.

12/10/2025: I am sure many people appreciate this kind of restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the food looks good, but somehow it didn’t work for me.
The meat dish I ordered, which was one of the most expensive on the menu, was unfortunately chewy and not up to standard. The pizza was thin and looked great, but the taste was average. The pasta, however, was good and they do have a nice selection of wines.
20/09/2025: An endless wait (an hour and a half) in the end they lost the order and we didn't get dinner... terrible

15/07/2025: Posto bellissimo Cinque stelle, del cibo molto buono e anche il bere. Siamo andati via in fretta, non perché ci fosse qualcosa che non andava, ma soltanto perché i nostri cani piangevano.

19/06/2025: Restaurant atypique à découvrir avec une très bonne qualité de plats typiques toscans mais aussi d’autres régions italiennes .
La patronne très accueillante et jonglant aussi bien avec l’italien que l allemand ou le français , il n’y avait pas d’anglais ce soir là …
Le service est impeccable .
Je recommande avec une mention particulière pour une belle découverte vinicole au travers d’un rosé d’un producteur local ( Scarlino)

08/10/2025: We ordered takeout pizza and sat at a table. It's a quiet place with a spacious and welcoming interior. There's also a secluded dining area, which is more... romantic, if you like. Everyone was very friendly. The pizza was good, among the best we've had in the area.

25/09/2025: The food was quite tasty. Pizza and stuffed foccacia. Everything was served quickly. A carafe of red wine added to the Tuscan atmosphere. A fun way to flush the toilet ;-).

04/10/2025: Very tasty, fast service. The place is nice, we got a table in the closed courtyard. We didn't reserve in advance, but it's better to reserve.
It's a popular place, and for good reason.
We weren't hungry, so we stopped in for a drink.
We had an Aperol, but ended up getting pizza and a Milanese schnitzel, which were very tasty.
The hostess was friendly.
We were satisfied.

I've had the pleasure of trying takeout pizza from Pizzeria Il Veliero several times, and I must say it's always been an excellent experience. The pizza is truly delicious; you can clearly taste the care taken in selecting and using high-quality ingredients.
So far, I've always had a great experience with takeout, but the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff has proven to be friendly and polite. This piqued my interest, and I can't wait to try their seafood, too. I'll definitely be back for a full sit-down dinner.
