05/10/2025: An unpleasant incident that left me truly perplexed, and for which I wouldn't recommend this place. I went to this pizzeria-restaurant and ordered a sandwich with hamburger, lettuce, tomato, grilled vegetables, and stracciatella. During the meal, some lettuce had fallen onto my plate, and only after I'd finished the sandwich (and I emphasize only after I'd finished the sandwich, if you read carefully; I hadn't noticed before, since the lettuce had fallen onto my plate) was I about to eat it when I noticed a dead bug on that lettuce (and if it's dead, it obviously won't move). It was a bug with legs, not a burnt piece of eggplant, as they would have you believe. I immediately notified the waitress, who went to report the incident to the kitchen. Shortly afterward, she returned, telling me that they'd told her to "don't worry, because they wash it." I don't doubt they wash it, but the fact remains that there was an insect on the plate. It can happen, of course, but what left me most disappointed was the complete lack of attention afterward: no one came to the table to apologize, nor was any kind of courtesy offered (a discount, dessert, any sign of consideration). I paid the bill in full, as if nothing had happened, and that's not at all an excuse to get a discount or anything else, because I don't need one. It's just a matter of knowing how to treat a customer. A real shame, because the place seemed welcoming and the sandwich was quite good—I say quite good because there was more salt than was appropriate… but an incident like that, handled so superficially, truly leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

20/10/2025: It's a very nice and functional bar. The owners are good and very kind. I was able to enjoy a real cappuccino. Why "real cappuccino"? Because, unfortunately, today, quality is being lost in favor of speed and perhaps saving money by using second-rate products. Let's get back to the LOCATION. Very welcoming and well-organized. Here you can find a truly beautiful and excellent variety of pastries. The prices are very fair and the owners are polite, kind, and sociable. Honestly, having a good breakfast at this place is a great satisfaction. Word of Local Guide.

22/11/2025: Normal atmosphere, nothing special. Small pizzeria with a few tables inside, plus a few outside. We tried the calzone and fried fish, both excellent. The fried fish in particular is recommended because it's dry and crispy, and very few pizzerias can do it like this. For dessert, the classic BABÀ was a must, where you can truly taste the flavor of Naples. The only downside is the price (too high), but they did offer limoncello (traditionally made). The pizzeria is recommended.

22/09/2025: I'm truly sorry to have to write this review, but it's simply unthinkable to see someone who simultaneously works as a pizza chef, cashier, and waiter. And unfortunately, that's not the real problem; it's the terrible pizza itself, thin as a wafer and full of flour, with low-quality ingredients. If you're struggling financially but still care about your reputation and your customers, you wouldn't serve this crap.

16/08/2025: Basic pizzeria with semi-self-service... But it's worth it! Delicious pizza... You can even eat two and they won't be too heavy. Claudio is very flexible and will definitely make you happy. They only make pizza. Unbeatable prices... Try it and believe it.

06/12/2025: Once they hire a pizza chef, they'll always be busy! The ingredients are excellent, as is the service. Unfortunately, the dough is to pizza what a vegan is to meat. It's a real shame, because the prices are fair...

24/04/2025: Locale familiare decisamente accogliente, camerieri disponibili e gentili, ma soprattutto simpatico il pizzaiolo-titolare, da cui oltreché la simpatia traspare anche una vera e propria passione per il suo mestiere. Pur essendoci un menù vasto se ne consiglia l’ottima pizza , rapporto qualità-prezzo molto buono.

16/12/2025: Iced coffee (just single coffee and ice) €3.50 I'll leave you to decide, I'd like to point out that there's no table service, just the coffee... and it's mediocre at that.

14/12/2025: The staff were unpleasant and arrogant, not at all friendly, in fact, hateful. The music was too loud, making it impossible to converse. After politely asking for the volume to be lowered, we were ignored and even treated rudely. P.S. (This message is for the staff) Remember, customers should always be satisfied, not mocked.

15/07/2025: Posto bellissimo Cinque stelle, del cibo molto buono e anche il bere. Siamo andati via in fretta, non perché ci fosse qualcosa che non andava, ma soltanto perché i nostri cani piangevano. Bravissimi 🤩😊

19/06/2025: Restaurant atypique à découvrir avec une très bonne qualité de plats typiques toscans mais aussi d’autres régions italiennes . La patronne très accueillante et jonglant aussi bien avec l’italien que l allemand ou le français , il n’y avait pas d’anglais ce soir là … Le service est impeccable . Je recommande avec une mention particulière pour une belle découverte vinicole au travers d’un rosé d’un producteur local ( Scarlino) Le Carpiana .

15/10/2025: We were here in early September. We had a delicious meal, but the upstairs area is a bit dull. It was very busy and there were lots of locals. Service was also quick and attentive. We made a reservation, which was definitely necessary.

05/10/2025: High price, modest quantities, good quality. We ordered three fillets, unfortunately not rare, a tagliata, a tagliolini, a pappardella, and a white pizza with mushrooms. The food itself was very good, but expensive for the price given the quantity. The mushrooms in all the dishes were also excellent (that's what we went for). The atmosphere, on the first floor, was a bit noisy, but the staff was friendly. Recommended, but with reservations.

25/09/2025: The food was quite tasty. Pizza and stuffed foccacia. Everything was served quickly. A carafe of red wine added to the Tuscan atmosphere. A fun way to flush the toilet ;-).

09/12/2025: Today was the Avo Versilia New Year's Eve celebration. About 50 of us gathered for the New Year's Eve lunch. Odilio is a well-known restaurant in Torre del Lago. The location is clean and not very bright, making it excellent for family lunches, business lunches, or groups of up to 60-70 people. We enjoyed a well-prepared, traditionally prepared fish menu. The prices were moderately low, and the staff was friendly. Everything was fine.

17/11/2025: We waited half an hour to order, and an hour to get our pizzas, since they gave priority to takeout orders! This is unprofessional! The pizza isn't as good as recommended...
