28/12/2025: Authentic food with old-fashioned home cooking. We waited very little and ate a spectacular risotto and a perfectly prepared fried fish platter. If you're in the area, definitely try it. Excellent.

06/12/2025: Excellent dinner, very polite and knowledgeable staff. Welcoming and clean place. The chef was lively and friendly, very approachable. Truly satisfying.

22/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant. The service was poor. The staff were friendly but not in tune with the food. We had a long wait before and after, with a dirty plate in front of us for far too long. Two and a half hours for two appetizers and two first courses. Off-menu dishes include daily specials, which are announced by the waitress, so be careful with the price. Pici with lobster cost €32, with a cover charge of €3 for two cutlery and paper napkins. I don't recommend it.

22/10/2025: Our first experience during the Covid period was recommended by friends, offering takeout. Since then, we've tried several dishes: baked fish with potatoes, salt-baked fish, cockerel al mattone, and a special (Livorno-style cod) that can be ordered the day before. All dishes are expertly prepared with expertise and skill. Excellent value for money.

10/11/2025: Livorno is known for its good food, and this is further proof of that. This pizzeria in the historic La Venezia neighborhood certainly lives up to expectations. Good pizza, fast service, and average prices. We dined outside, but there's also the option to eat inside. Recommended.

25/01/2026: The first time I went, the food was delicious, but they'd lost our table's order, and everything arrived very late. They were mortified, and didn't want to be paid! Such gentlemen, with attentions that don't exist elsewhere! We went back, and everything was top-notch.

05/01/2026: I'll start by saying that I've worked in the restaurant business myself, so I'm familiar with the rules regarding hours and overtime. BUT, walking into this place (practically the only one open in Portoferraio) in early January around 9:30 PM and being looked at askance is definitely not a pleasant experience. The pizza was very good, BUT we hadn't even had time to sit down before the lady rushed over to ask if we already knew what to eat. We asked for a list, so she brought us the menus; less than two minutes later, the aforementioned lady returned and annoyedly asked if we'd chosen. Since we weren't ready yet, we asked for another minute. After two minutes, we heard her yelling at the pizza chef, "Hey, the guys haven't ordered yet!" Meanwhile, she headed over to us, who, fortunately, had already decided what to eat. Fast service, the pizza was good, but the heating wasn't there, and there was an unwarranted rush, as the entire staff was sitting on their hands and it wasn't even 10 p.m. We weren't even asked if we'd like dessert, but instead asked if we'd like coffee (obviously to clean the machine), which we declined. I got up to pay and came across the same old woman who was yelling, "I'll bring the bill to table 7 now," as if to say we had to get up and go. I paid and we left. Next time, we won't be back, even if it's the only one open again.

08/01/2026: Truly excellent and large pizza.....finally a pizzeria that still makes pizzas and focaccias as big as and bigger than the plate.....very tasty, fresh and high-quality ingredients....extensive menu and very good house wine....excellent desserts too....warm, modern and clean atmosphere.

11/09/2025: Not recommended. Terrible experience. Dinner with friends, too bad that so much time passes between the first course and the last one that the first course is already in the cafe. Not to mention the appetizer "seafood salad" if you can call it that, there is absolutely nothing seafood about it, they got the name "garden salad" wrong on the menu.
