12/10/2025: The worst experience in gastronomy I have ever had. It started with really bad service, which immediately made it clear that they did not like seeing us. We then waited quite a long time to order. When someone finally came to us, we were told that we could only order three different dishes for the table. Given that there were 9 of us, it was quite difficult to agree. We then waited an hour and a half for our food, and during that time, no one even stopped by our table to order the wine. After an hour and a half, they finally brought the food. Unfortunately, not for everyone at the same time, but one dish after the other within about twenty minutes, so it happened that one had finished eating and the other had not yet eaten. The food was average, but the portion was half. In a completely simple dish like Mozzarella with tomatoes, for which we also waited an hour and a half, we were surprised to find a hair. When transferring the bill, the waiter did not say a word, threw the bill on the table and left. Please, find another restaurant.

21/09/2025: I tried L'Antico Arca pizzeria in Cellamare and was truly impressed. They have a dedicated gluten-free laboratory, managed with great care and professionalism. The owner, Vito, was incredibly kind and helpful: when I booked, I requested that the dough not contain legume flour, and I was granted this request without any problem. We started with speck and mozzarella rolls and some fantastic homemade sgagliozze, not frozen, which were truly delicious. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten: light, soft, crispy, and very digestible. It was exceptional!! Every bite was a delight. Another strong point is the attention to the quality of the raw materials: locally sourced products and organic flours. The owners are welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable: they make you feel at home right away. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for excellent pizza, even gluten-free, without sacrificing flavor and authenticity. Until next time !!

04/09/2025: I'm not from the area, but every time I'm in the area (and I often am), Antico Arco is always a must-visit. Vito, the owner, is kind and helpful, and you can tell he's passionate about his work, along with his wife Angela, who is also the first female pizza chef I've ever seen: incredibly skilled, precise, and with a special touch. The quality of the food is truly top-notch: fresh, locally sourced ingredients and truly delicious pizzas. It's a place I always love to return to.

05/09/2025: Excellent food and fair price. The big sausage is a must-try. The pizza is excellent, a perfect balance between Neapolitan and Bari-style. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

15/08/2025: On August 15, 2025, we had dinner at our friend Nicola's restaurant, Komodo. As always, we had a wonderful time and the food was divine. Our Border Collie also dined with us, featuring bread and cooked ham, and told us he'd like to return to Nicola's restaurant more often. Without us asking, Nicola even had a dog bowl filled with fresh water brought to the table. It may seem silly, but it's not something we take for granted. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. Spaghetti all'Assassina was SUPERLATIVE!!!

04/09/2025: We went last week to eat pizza with the family. Nothing to say about the pizza, it was really excellent!! The only negative note was the expired Coke, which after pointing it out to the owner, she put it on my bill, apologizing but making me pay for it!! Then the pizza chef passed the blame to the owner, saying vice versa that they don't take orders, so he ordered an additional pizza even though we were already seated, but he said it would take 20 minutes... disorganized.

25/09/2025: A local trattoria not for tourists but for local gourmets. This isn't to say it's not a tourist-friendly place, but simply that it should be more popular with tourists thanks to the authentic, local flavors. From the spaghetti all'assassina, served straight from the iron pan, to the panzerotti, the flavors are those of local cuisine, made to be savored, not just looked at. We dined here as guests of friends, and we'll never forget the culinary experience and the friendly service provided by the entire staff, just like the scents of this wonderful land. Don't miss it if you're in Bari!

17/09/2025: Our Italian friends recommend this restaurant to us. The recommended local traditional dishes are panzerotti and assassina, and he also recommended us to try „ patate riso e cozze (potatoes rice and mussels). We enjoyed what we ordered, we also had a Mixed deep fried seafood to share. Everything was delicious, the service was efficient. However it helps if one can speak Italian. We tried our best to give it go…😏

26/08/2025: In Altamura, many people make pizzas. Only a few make good pizzas. Only Stile Libero makes unforgettable pizzas. Add to that Gianni, always kind and polite, a young and friendly staff, and a relaxed, informal atmosphere: it's my favorite place. Excellent quality all round, which perhaps wouldn't be enough without top-notch staff, but here they also have that, what many second-rate, shadowy restaurateurs lack: knowing how to treat their customers well.

13/08/2025: I chose takeout pizzas because you have to book well in advance, as the place is always busy. The pizza is good, a 7 out of 10 considering the city's standards. The staff is a bit squinty if you're not up to par with the place—that is, the typical guy who parks out front in a no-parking zone with his Porsche, a shirt with his initials, and a pocket square. So, the atmosphere isn't for everyone, but only those with the aforementioned characteristics. Otherwise, I recommend it.

06/10/2025: The worst pizza I've ever eaten. Not only was the crust incredibly thin, but it was also burnt. Disaster!!!
