03/05/2026: Highly prestigious, meticulously designed ambience, both in the upper and lower rooms. Very elegant and of appreciable quality in every detail. The bathrooms are spotless and tidy. The dishes are excellent, with fresh, tasty products, both the first courses (the spaghetti is truly special) and the appetizers, such as the parmigiana. The wine list is also very comprehensive. Unfortunately, the only downside is the service. Despite the staff at our table trying to remedy the situation, unfortunately, some of our friends' first courses did not arrive. We urged them repeatedly, but after about 35-40 minutes they finally arrived, but the rest of the table had already finished eating. This is why we no longer ordered second courses. It's a shame, we would have happily come again this evening. They need to reorganize themselves better.

We were treated like tourists, without a doubt: 1 bottle of wine, 2 orange juices, and 2 beers Appetizers for 4 6 braciole (braciole) with plenty of sauce 3 desserts €180 - I'd say the bill was more than a little steep, given that in Bari, a portion of braciole (braciole) without pasta should usually be two braciole, not one braciole with sauce for two braciole. Simply a rude way of doing things, e.g., the bread arrived at the end of the appetizer.

19/04/2026: Definitely a total disappointment, it's not "Da Donato" the place is full in every seat and every shift only because it's dragged by the name but nowadays you eat better pizza in many other less renowned pizzerias in Bari, the service is fast but unfortunately through no fault of the people serving them they have to rush and therefore leaves much to be desired in the explanation of the raw materials and they decline to recommend, booked for 6 people they made us sit at a table so small that our legs were bumping between us and the waiters juggled to try not to drop the plates on our heads while we slalom between the tables, a completely unexpected experience.

26/09/2025: Unfortunately, the view is the only good thing about this place. The pizza was soggy, the fried fish was limp, and the fries tasted like fish. The outrageous thing is that a liter of house wine was listed at €8, but I was charged €5 for a glass. When we asked about it, neither the server nor the owner offered any explanation. What a shame... I can't recommend it.

08/04/2026: Very good pizza, even better wine, excellent service, and especially—unfortunately, I don't remember the waitress's name—a slightly built waitress. Despite the language barrier, we got along perfectly. Prices are typical of regional Poland.

08/04/2026: Lovely view and professional attire. On the first glance you'd think it's "touristy". But tourists also must eat. During our lunch 2 out of 5 or 6 occupied tables were from abroad (us included). Yes, this is a place to have a good meal. And locals eat here too :-) So, top taste, scenery and service. Obvio

03/01/2026: The magic ingredients: Good food, tranquility, and kindness!!! ...Da Bruna is a restaurant I've been frequenting for years, and every time I find the same authentic atmosphere. The cuisine is based on genuine products, and you can clearly sense the love for good food and things done well. The restaurant is family-run, and this is immediately apparent: the kindness of the owners is one of its strengths. The pizza is delicious, with top-quality ingredients, as are the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all carefully prepared and flavorful...I've tried them all now. A special mention goes to Rossana, who embodies kindness personified and is also an excellent cook, capable of putting passion and skill into every dish. A place where I can relax and the quality is consistent over time.

08/02/2026: Always happy to return, despite the years, the Giardino di Monsignore restaurant and beach club remain a guarantee of taste, elegance, and excellent value. A little more attention to customer service from the dining room staff would be welcome.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 28/12/2025: I tried this pizzeria and I have to say it was a pretty good experience. I wouldn't call it the best in the city, but the pizza is definitely quality: the dough is light and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to when you're craving a good, no-frills pizza. Fair prices and fast service. A sure thing, even if it's not a miracle.

14/10/2025: First time having this experience. I told them I love for food. So they made that happen. I tasted dishes that I have never experienced in my life. 6 different plates from anti pasto, pizza, pasta and dessert. Wines, beer, after dinner drink. I was there for 4 hrs. I feel in love with the food and the people who call this place they're home. An experience of flavors and love put into the food. 10/10 recommend
