16/11/2025: My family and I went to Ai Portici during the week, and at first we were a little hesitant because the place is a bit hidden and we couldn't see anyone, but what do they say? Never judge a book by its cover, right? And after reading the reviews here on Maps, we decided to give it a try anyway, and despite our hesitation, we were truly amazed. The service was fast, especially since there weren't many people, but that didn't take away from the experience. The pizza is amazing!!! Lovely, piping hot, juicy, and with a perfect Neapolitan crust, just the way I like it! Being a Neapolitan pizza lover, I found exactly what I was looking for here to feel a little bit like I'm in Naples 😭😍😍😍😍 Overall, Ai Portici is a small and somewhat hidden place, but it's absolutely worth it: excellent quality pizza, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is extensive and the prices are moderate, considering we're in Monopoli! We also had dessert, which was delicious and carefully prepared! I recommend it 😍

16/11/2025: I visited Virgò in Andria and had a truly amazing experience. We started with a selection of carefully selected and flavorful appetizers. The platters deserve a special mention: top-quality cured meats, tender and fragrant, literally melting in the mouth. The pizzas were another pleasant discovery: light, well-leavened, and made with fresh ingredients. The sliced ​​meat didn't disappoint either: perfectly cooked, the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. A place that combines quality, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. Virgò is definitely a place I'll return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

A few meters further, we had the pleasure of going to Imperiale, and even though they also had an open kitchen, it didn't cause any problems. I still don't understand the idea of ​​not being able to eat with my dog ​​like in a normal place.

One of the aspects that struck me most was the attention to gluten-free options: all the dishes served were completely gluten-free, from appetizers to main courses, without any restrictions. A truly rare plus, especially with dishes of this caliber. This was one of the few times I've even been served gluten-free bread so I could enjoy the house-made olive oil: a simple gesture that demonstrates care and sensitivity towards those with specific dietary needs. We followed the house's recommendations for warm dishes, a selection of appetizers that proved excellent: very fresh fish, light and crispy fried foods, and crisp, never overpowering flavors. The red snapper as a main course was the true star of the evening: perfectly cooked, soft and flavorful, with balanced garnishes. A dish alone is worth the visit. The service is impeccable: attentive, knowledgeable staff, always present but never intrusive. Each course is carefully explained, enhancing the experience and conveying all the passion behind the kitchen's work. The value for money is absolutely right considering the quality of the ingredients, the skill behind the dishes, and the overall experience. It's one of those places that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to return, and in our case, we certainly will. A restaurant that combines tradition, flavor, and customer service, even when it comes to gluten-free options, without compromising on quality. Highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality, authentic dinner with attention to every detail.
