16/08/2024: We ate as a family in this place, the pizzas are excellent, you can also choose alternative doughs to multi-grain etc., good variety of toppings in addition to the classic pizzas. The only negative note, we arrived at 8:15 and around 10:00 the waiter came to ask us to leave the table for the second shift, since we had not been warned after a couple of minutes they rectified by apologizing, however we did not There is no such thing as rushing someone who has eaten, spent money and maybe wants to relax in front of a bitter or something else, maybe keep this aspect in mind! Still recommended

21/08/2024: The Carbonella pizzeria is the right place to enjoy a good pizza in Castellana Grotte. They have a wide choice of excellent quality beers, perfect to accompany the pizzas which are always delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. Special thanks go to Gianbattista, who found my car keys in a street near the pizzeria and brought them to my table with great kindness. His gesture made the evening even more pleasant. A place I absolutely recommend!

27/08/2024: Excellent pizza restaurant. Very good quality/price ratio. We ordered: spaghetti with clams, fried shrimp and calamari, seared tuna, and homemade pizza. Everything excellent!! Quick and very friendly service (this is not a given these days). Compliments!

21/08/2024: One of not many options to have a variety of the Italian food (some fusion included) in this area. Nice service, though you better to learn at least some Italian. Food was tasty, but mussels are pretty small here and soup is missing some flavours.

29/08/2024: Nightmarish kitchens!!!...if Cannavacciuolo came they would close it immediately without even trying to save it!!!!...frozen fish cooked badly!!!...high price considering the very low quality of everything!!! ... I highly recommend other places in the area that serve fish of the day at a much more honest price.

18/08/2024: We returned to satisfy our craving for meatballs and I must say that we achieved our goal. The meatballs may not be like my grandmother's but they are good quality. The variety with the related sauces is captivating. Even pizza can be eaten with pleasure. We will definitely be back for a third time.

22/06/2024: The owners are very kind, but there is no table service, you have to set the table and go get the food and drinks yourself. The fried food and arancini are good, but unfortunately I didn't like the pizza, obviously it's a my opinion!

Since the pizza cost €8.50 and you didn't have the change of €10. A €1.50 tip that I would have easily given for good service, but not for an hour of waiting (for a pizza like this). 04/08/2024: very nice location with traditional Salento dishes. The mixed house starter was excellent, very rich indeed. the fried foods and the tripe with potatoes are excellent! super the "devil's balls" (horse meatballs with spicy sauce).
