14/03/2026: Polite and friendly staff. From the moment we walked in, they were friendly and welcomed us politely. As for the food, I personally had a first course called "gricia" and it was very good. The wait was very short considering it was a weekend, when there are a lot of people who frequent it. As for the place, it's a bit reminiscent of 90s diners. I personally would make it a little more youthful, but that's my opinion, not a criticism. Recommended for all tastes.

18/02/2026: Every year I go to Ceglie for about 10 days. For me, Taverna di Domenicani is the best place to enjoy authentic, quality Apulian cuisine. The ingredients are of the highest quality and always fresh. The catch is the catch of the day. The owner is a wonderful person and truly professional. The service is precise, attentive, and meticulous. The location is central, beneath Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Ceglie. It's easily accessible on foot. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. For us, it's our regular meeting place in Ceglie.

01/02/2026: Everything was perfect, the customer service was excellent, and the owner, Vito Zotti, and his wife, are fantastic. The vast menu offers many gluten-free options, from appetizers to desserts, but for me the pizza is the winner, hands down, the best I've ever had. And this, coming from someone who recently became celiac, is that the taste is so similar to a regular pizza that I felt like I was going back in time. Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: If I could put a zero, I'd put a minus one. The staff was incredibly rude, especially the owner, who yelled at me after I reported a wait of over an hour. Despite deciding to stay, the welcome was terrible, the table still set from the previous dinner, the waiter insulted a friend of mine, the bathroom was filthy like I've rarely seen before, the tap water didn't work, and not even a discount at the register after what happened. Not only is it not recommended, but I hope they also carry out the necessary checks.

The dining room staff proved to be extraordinarily well-prepared: a profound expertise that translates into precious, never banal advice, capable of guiding guests toward pairings that enhance each individual course. It's rare to find such an ability to read a guest's desires and guide them with such gentle and expert authority. The cuisine is a hymn to the sea: The raw seafood is touchingly fresh: red prawns and sweet scampi served on ice, followed by a tartare and a carpaccio that are small masterpieces of balance. The risotto is executed with meticulous technique, creamy and savory, enriched with raw shellfish that enhance its texture. The attention to detail is evident right from the bread: artisanal taralli and a fragrant tomato focaccia that, combined with the excellent olive oil served at the table, pave the way for an unforgettable meal. The sweet finish with the millefeuille is ethereal, a cloud of crunch and cream that leaves the palate clean and satisfied. Everything is excellent, in fact excellent. A place where the Michelin Guide is confirmed not only by the dishes, but by the top-notch service that truly knows how to advise and pamper the customer. I will definitely return.

10/01/2026: A very well-stocked panzerotti shop, but I wasn't thrilled with the dough or the contents of the panzerotti. However, parking is easy, and the prices are average.

07/02/2026: Returning after many years, I thought I'd spend a relaxing day sampling locally sourced dishes. I found myself in a human bedlam with tables and children—lots of children, perhaps too many. I can only imagine our eagerness to eat and leave as quickly as possible. My table was located at the entrance, 4 cm from the other table of other guests. I asked to be moved inside the dining room for a bit more peace and quiet, but my request was denied. If you don't like pumpkin, you're screwed! (I do). Yet there are so many first courses to offer at this restaurant. Applause only for the grilled meat.

01/02/2026: Nothing to complain about the food, especially if you're a carnivore. We made reservations at 9 PM and were seated shortly after 10 PM. Not recommended on weekends.

08/12/2025: Perhaps the best place in the entire province to eat authentically without spending too much, in a characteristic, almost deliberately rural setting that perfectly embodies the essence of central Puglia. These are the places people should go for food, not sushi. Well done, Michele and his father.

24/02/2026: Informal and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. We ordered two puccias. The dough was very good, the puccia thin and crispy, and well-filled. I ordered a Flanders puccia with fior di latte tomatoes, arugula, and prosciutto, and I also added spicy mushrooms. The only flaw was the tomato, which was bland and characterless. Perhaps a little more oil and salt would have been great. The medium portion of potatoes was truly generous. If you haven't tried this pizzeria, it's worth a try, at least for the puccias.

27/12/2025: We stopped by chance for a quick bite to eat and were delighted. Excellent place for self-service pizza or puccia. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous and truly delicious puccia. Friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. 🔝🔝🔝
