14/03/2026: Why did I give it 3 stars when everything else was excellent?!! An elderly couple, ignoring basic good manners, blared their smartphones and made video calls in a place where background music and quiet were essential to me until a few minutes ago, ruining my enjoyment of an "Elvira" pizza. Disrespect is a sign of an inability to transcend one's own personal interests for the benefit of others, ignoring the presence of diners seeking tranquility. I reported this incident to the head waiter, who replied that it's become a habit. No! I disagree because the rules of good manners, when not expressed spontaneously, should be the rules of a place with such qualities as the ambiance, music, and quality of its products. In short, such behavior by some patrons should not be underestimated by the managers of this place, and I strongly advise them to set rules for their staff so that such rude habits are immediately "suppressed."

26/02/2026: The place is a nice renovated place, very nice, the pizza is not the pizza I expected, it is a simple pizza that can be made very well at home with little topping and also quite expensive, the oven is a gas oven and not a wood oven and the pizza is very far from the classic and unique Neapolitan pizza.... In the photos that you see the pizza, it is not that one

04/02/2026: Exceptional value for money. You can eat well with the 15 euro menu, featuring fish or meat, and a quarter of wine included. Clean atmosphere, very friendly service. Everything perfect.

25/01/2026: Orecchiette alla leccese, horsemeat stew with tomato sauce... It's practically like eating at your mom's or grandma's 😅. Rich flavors and generous portions, super-fast service, and a friendly atmosphere guaranteed. And the profiterole was a fitting end to a low-cost lunch (€20 per person) topped off with the joy of seeing so many young people working hard to give customers the best possible experience. I'll be back.

07/03/2026: The first and last time... I'll explain why... you don't even get to the restaurant before the waiters rush you, asking you questions, even about a very simple salad plate they ask you how it is... dishes that arrive very quickly without considering the time it takes for the first courses, so you don't know what to eat first... Pizza is awful to say the least, soggy dough, indigestible...

08/01/2026: I've been to Porticciolo in Giovinazzo several times, and I must say I've never been disappointed. On one of those occasions, I dined outside on a pleasant summer evening, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Eating there, with the sea air and a peaceful atmosphere, made the evening even more enjoyable. The dishes were truly delicious. We had seafood first courses and raw seafood, all extremely fresh and of excellent quality. You can immediately sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing the dishes, which are flavorful yet well-balanced. The restaurant is very spacious, spacious, and well-organized, with comfortable spaces that allow you to eat in peace without feeling cramped. It's also clean and well-kept, something that always makes a difference when dining out. The atmosphere is relaxing, ideal for both an evening with friends and a more relaxed dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful, always present but never intrusive, and the service was prompt: the wait wasn't long at all, despite the restaurant being busy. The prices are also reasonable and in line with the quality of the food and the seaside location, without being overpriced. Overall, it's a place where you eat well, feel comfortable, and want to return. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent seafood in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in Giovinazzo.

10/03/2026: I had dinner at Il Carbonaio and was very satisfied. I tried both the pizza and the pancotto, a typical dish from San Severo, and everything was truly delicious. The pizza was light and well-seasoned, while the pancotto was rich in flavor and prepared according to tradition. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. Recommended! 😊

01/03/2026: I'd consider this restaurant to specialize primarily in traditional dishes, which are very good. The appetizers and side dishes are tasty. Service is prompt and the quality/price ratio is good.

09/03/2026: I always enjoy returning to Nonno Marcello, a trattoria serving excellent, traditional food. The reasonable prices, warm welcome, and traditional Bari cuisine make it a go-to for simple, quick meals. The pasta alla marinara, eggplant parmigiana, and tiramisu are all excellent. Overall, all the dishes are truly delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend it.

14/10/2025: Excellent local cuisine. Very friendly service. Arrived for lunch at 3 p.m. Fried rice and pasta for the wife, followed by tiramisu, coffee, and water. Around €50. Excellent value for money. Generous portions. We really enjoyed it. I recommend it.

The staff was engaging, actively participating and livening up the evening. They were eager to accommodate our every request with enthusiasm and kindness.
