03/01/2026: Delicious and very inexpensive. Sweetest wait staff, amazing fries, table wine is so ridiculously cheap. Ate here 2 nights in a row because I enjoyed it so much. Also they offer multiple meat options which is almost impossible to find here. Love this place!

25/08/2025: We found it somewhat by chance while on vacation in Cagnano Varano during the week of August 15th 2025, and we returned a second time before returning home. The pizzas, paposce, grilled vegetables, and baked cacio cheese were delicious! The service was attentive, welcoming, and cheerful. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Puglia! 23/08/2025: The pizza of a lifetime!!!!! When my boyfriend and I crave a good pizza, our first thought is this wonderful place, L'Ammiraglio. Exceptional staff: fast, helpful, extremely kind, quality is not to be taken for granted, in fact... practically perfection. In addition to the pizza and paposcia, which I dare say are amazing, the waiters and the pizza chef always have a smile on their face, even when the place is packed. They always manage to cheer you up despite having so many things to do. As far as I'm concerned, a wonderful place, the best. If you have the chance, stop by, you won't regret it. One of the few places that in August (when you can't understand anything) still treats you with kid gloves. Well done, keep it up!!!! (We love L'Ammiraglio and the Americana, not to mention the Bronte, delicious!!!) ❤️❤️

28/08/2025: We're tourists and we tried two pizzas at Max Pizza, along with a Peroni takeaway. We really enjoyed them! The pizzas are very good; they're the best we've eaten so far during our trip. The wait staff and the kitchen staff are friendly and welcoming. 🙂 Thanks!

02/03/2026: A place where the tradition of home-cooked food is combined with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I've been there for both dinner and lunch, and the various culinary offerings are excellent. The pizzas with cereal dough are excellent. The Sunday menu at 28 euros per person is recommended for a quiet and succulent Sunday, as the menu includes no fewer than 10 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, and a side dish with drinks. A welcoming place to visit. ❤️

03/01/2026: Rustic and welcoming restaurant. Mr. Giuseppe is helpful and professional. We ate very well and were served equally well. Excellent ingredients, cooked traditionally. We chose the house menu for €28, which included appetizers, a first course, and a second course each. Drinks included, including liqueur and coffee. It's been a long time since I've had such a high-quality experience at a restaurant! I'll definitely be back!

31/01/2026: A restaurant where you can eat your fill without breaking the bank. Excellent and surprising cuisine for a non-Italian. I recommend the Mamma Ricchetta skattata for €10, which is easily enough for two.

11/01/2026: Recommended by friends, but it was a disappointment. There were four of us; one pizza arrived cold, another had very little mozzarella, and the other two had capocollo cooked with the pizza, which was very salty. Plus, there was no mozzarella along with the stracciatella. Very unprofessional.

08/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with a typical Apulian style. The appetizers, seafood first courses, and fried fish dishes are excellent, all plentiful. The service was good despite the busy Sunday lunch dining room. I'll definitely be back for the pizzeria. The outdoor garden is also lovely, perfect for warm summer evenings.

17/01/2026: The evening begins like this... I call and make a reservation for 9:30 PM for 4 people. They tell me over the phone that the wait is 5 minutes, which is just enough time for the table to be free. I arrive promptly and they tell me to wait 10 minutes. At 10:17 PM, I ask how much longer and they tell me to wait until the table is free since they had asked for the bill. After a long (and unwanted) wait, we manage to sit down at 10:23 PM. The place is nice, with seating near the sea. We order at 10:46 PM. The dishes arrive at 10:52 PM. Very fast service. Excellent sushi and excellent mixed seafood appetizer. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay "Lama di Pietra" white wine, which was delicious, served in the right way and left in the seau à glace (which is not a given). The first courses arrive later: paccheri with monkfish and sagne with almonds, cherry tomatoes, and cod. A few pieces of monkfish were not... Skinless but not bothersome The first courses are also excellent The quantity of fish in the first courses was higher than expected, and therefore generous with the seasoning I would have added a few more paccheri Next came the fried foods The anelletti and shrimp were good For the mixed seafood, most of them were good Just a few were full of bones and difficult to remove We close with the sweet and sour dishes The sweet and sour dishes were good, and the amaro del capo was served chilled in a chilled glass. All in all, the place wasn't bad. The food was good, the price was fair, the service was fast but "cold" (not a bad thing, each waiter decides how to treat the customer), and the bill was reasonable, with bitters offered after checking the order. 4 stars because there's always room for improvement. Keep it up!

22/11/2025: Simply fabulous pizza. Real pizza. Well cooked and well topped. It was our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise. Compliments to the pizza chef 👍👍👍
