12/10/2025: We ordered a Burrata with local cold cuts (very good), Polpo Salento Style, and Polpo with Ratatouille. Unfortunately, both octopus dishes were quite salty — even the vegetables in the ratatouille. The staff was kind and replaced one of the dishes with pasta at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. However, when the second octopus dish also turned out too salty, we were told it couldn’t be changed because “only one dish can be replaced.” That policy felt strange and not really fair, especially since the food simply wasn’t good. The waiter explained that the octopus was fresh, not frozen, which might explain the difference in taste — but I’ve had octopus several times recently, and it was never this salty. I’m sharing this as kind feedback, because the restaurant itself is lovely, the service was polite, and the Burrata was truly delicious. With a bit more flexibility and attention in the kitchen, it could easily be an excellent experience for everyone.

09/10/2025: We have been in Puglia for 10 days now and in Lecce for 2 and our meal here last night was probably the best we have enjoyed so far. It is a little more expensive than some, but only a little and the extra is so worth it. The staff could not have been more friendly or efficient and the food was exquisite.

04/09/2025: Great, cute place. Young, energetic staff. Very close to the center, we went for breakfast: so many choices, in addition to the pasticciotti, the tettee della monaca are exceptional (the best I've ever eaten!). The bread is also varied and refined.

22/09/2025: We didn't like the steakhouse experience; the pork leg was overcooked, and the Angus steak was a bit tough. I often go to grilled meat restaurants, but there's no comparison. I won't be returning.

05/10/2025: A family-run trattoria off the beaten path... excellent welcome and service... excellent quality and quantity of dishes.... For two, we had two plates of orecchiette, exceptional, a mixed roast, delicious, a side of rye and anchovies, baked potatoes, eggplant with ricotta and tomato, half a liter of local white wine, excellent, and a tiramisu. We were also offered two small bottles of liqueurs... Everything was exceptional, final price 53 euros... Really affordable for the quality and quantity... Highly recommended... The best thing... you can feel the atmosphere of home and family...

29/09/2025: Great food at reasonable prices. For our main course we were recommend to try the slow cooked Donkey Meat in a tomato sauce, which we had with a backed jacket potato cooked in the Pizza Oven. What made the evening especially nice was a very generous complementry Lemonchello & Cherry liquor. (see photo)

12/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant with paintings all around. Good food, and everyone is very friendly. Some seats may be a bit cramped, but the place is cozy.

23/09/2025: We can't say anything about the food because we were turned away. You can make reservations through Google, and the reservation was confirmed. We made a reservation for 6:30 p.m., but we were then told, in a very rude and unapologetic manner, that they didn't open until 7:30 p.m. Truly annoying and not recommended!

26/08/2025: Sunday dinner at 9:00 PM. We ordered a pizza with pistachio, mortadella, and stracciatella, and a pizza with chips. We asked to split them so we could each try each other's pieces, but were told it wasn't possible due to the mozzarella. After waiting over 30 minutes, I asked a very kind waitress what had happened to our pizzas. She replied that they were in the oven. A short while later, she returned and told us that they had run out of mortadella (at 9:00 PM). We made up for it by having salami added. Obviously, the pizzas had cooled down in the meantime (the photo makes it very clear), so much so that they arrived cut in half, as we had requested with the two toppings. The pizza was light and easy to digest. Prices were normal. When I went to pay and was asked how we liked it, I politely complained and was told, "Next time we'll make up for it." Too bad there will never be a next time. We also made a mistake in not changing the pizza.

05/10/2025: We went there on Saturday without a reservation, we waited a bit, not too much, having a table outside because inside was full it was a bit cold, the service was good being on Saturday the pizza a little less considering that we took the Neapolitan dough but the edge was hard not particularly pleasant, however as for the toppings ok I took a cacio e pepe really excellent if it had not been for the edge I would have given 5 stars, fries a little oil if prices normal like the other now Altini.

07/09/2025: We ordered paccheri with lobster, but unfortunately the lobster was empty and the portion of paccheri was really small. The fried calamari and shrimp weren't the best...they weren't fresh, they were frozen. The service wasn't the best; napkins and bread were missing, the base... the waiters were infrequent. It's a shame, I expected more.

27/08/2025: Great for those who want a quick bite to eat. The pizza and puccia are delicious, as are the fries. A set menu with pizza/puccia, fries, and a drink costs about €8. We ended up here by chance with friends and were very pleased, especially with the speed of service and the friendly staff.
