13/01/2026: Very tasty, especially the pizza.

01/03/2026: March 1, 2026, lunch. There were two of us: we ordered two PAD THAI VEGGIE for €15 each. They were very good, but served in a bowl, and the portions were really small for the price. That price each gets you two pizzas, and we weren't even close to being full. A bottle of sparkling water + cover charge totaled €38!! It was outrageous. We would have liked dessert and coffee, but we probably would have spent €50 for two. Plus, the wait was long, and the cover charge didn't include bread, just a paper placemat and napkin (plus cutlery and glasses, of course). The food was good, but I wouldn't recommend it due to the illogical price/quantity ratio.

01/11/2025: I had the pleasure of spending a Friday evening at this restaurant with some friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to their guests' needs. As for the food, I can say that the quality of the dishes was excellent. This restaurant deserves to be recognized: I will definitely be back.

11/03/2026: Do you like authentic Piedmontese cuisine? I mean, bagna cauda, ​​fritto misto, braised meat, ravioli del plin, boiled meat with tongue, and bagnet verd e russ? I'm deliberately leaving out the wines and desserts. Well, if you're in Vercelli, give it a try. I've already tried it twice for lunch. Excellent. PS: Early afternoon conference calls are highly discouraged after lunch.

21/12/2025: We came in for a snack, but right from the start, the owner seemed annoyed and engaged in a loud argument, likely with an employee. Unfortunately, this tense atmosphere continued throughout our stay, making the experience rather unpleasant. It's a shame, because the place is nice and the pastries were good, but the atmosphere and behavior negatively impacted the service. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the owner confirmed his rudeness by charging us without even saying hello.

08/03/2026: Lake from Salasco. Very pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. We had the Carnaroli risotto with cherry tomatoes and blue cheese: delicious. The staff were very friendly and immediately welcoming. This pizzeria is not to be missed.

06/03/2026: We've been to this place twice and the location immediately feels welcoming and warm...the windows overlooking the lake give it a sense of space and grandeur, the wooden ceilings, the posters on the walls of historic drinks...everything makes sense and has a homely feel...the guys are super kind...and the pizza is highly recommended...we'll definitely be back.

08/10/2025: Over the years, Croce Bianca has always been a popular trattoria for its excellent value, authentic cuisine, and varied menu. After about a year's absence, I decided to return, confident of the same pleasant experience as before. Unfortunately, I must say that the overall quality has declined, both in terms of the cuisine and the service management. For those, like me, who suffer from severe allergies and numerous food intolerances, the menu is now extremely limited. I chose a crepe with toma cheese and prosciutto: good flavor, but poor quantity. Two small crepes, finished in just a few bites, cannot be considered a main course, especially at a price of 10 euros. The wait times were also excessive at every stage. We waited almost twenty minutes for the crepes, and after finishing our dish, another fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to ask if we wanted coffee, despite having already tried to attract attention. Once we ordered, we waited another ten minutes before our food was served. The service was slow, uncoordinated, and far from the standards one would expect in a place of this type. The wait staff, while polite, displayed a lack of professionalism. The waitress, constantly apologizing, served a dirty cup of coffee, explaining it off as a problem with the coffee maker, when it would have been enough to discreetly replace it. Furthermore, while she addressed the gentlemen in the dining room with the formal "Lei," she addressed my daughter and me with the informal "tu." This attitude, while perhaps spontaneous, denotes a lack of attention: respect, in a professional context, also comes through in language. Finally, when it came time to get the bill, I had to wait about twelve minutes and present my card several times, as the waitress was having difficulty using the POS. Overall, a disappointing experience, made tiring by long waits and sloppy service, a far cry from the welcoming and genuine trattoria that once represented a benchmark for quality and warmth.

09/04/2026: Last weekend I went to dinner at this place: I had a pizza for a whopping €15, which was bland, with two tasteless shrimp and three cherry tomatoes thrown in haphazardly. My companion had sea bass, and they brought a plate with this simple fillet and two slices of homemade bread drizzled with olive oil, no potatoes on the side, or anything else, for the modest sum of €16. On top of all this, we waited forever to be served, and the place wasn't crowded. Terrible. Never again.
