10/12/2025: We went to Cantunè di Pezzana, five adults and one child, and we had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive, even to the needs of the little ones. The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared, and plentiful: you could tell they use quality ingredients and that they put passion into their cooking. The service was quick, unhurried, but always attentive. The prices were more than fair for what they offer. In conclusion: a perfect evening, we'll definitely be back!

The view of Her Majesty Monte Rosa is magnificent, and from the restaurant's parking lot, it feels like you can reach out and touch it.
The dishes were of good quality.
I agree with those who would have preferred the roadhouse to have kept its original color, but I've already read other responses regarding the same issue.
An honorable mention goes to the charming waitress who dispensed breadsticks when the table was taken.

14/03/2026: I wish I had found this place on my first day here. The food, ambience, Chiara's great attention to detail and chilled vibe was absolutely amazing. Book in advance, you don't want to come to Alagna and miss this place. We are back tomorrow and cannot wait .. brava Chiara and Giorgio. Hope you are still going strong next year

21/12/2025: We came in for a snack, but right from the start, the owner seemed annoyed and engaged in a loud argument, likely with an employee. Unfortunately, this tense atmosphere continued throughout our stay, making the experience rather unpleasant. It's a shame, because the place is nice and the pastries were good, but the atmosphere and behavior negatively impacted the service. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the owner confirmed his rudeness by charging us without even saying hello.

01/03/2026: March 1, 2026, lunch. There were two of us: we ordered two PAD THAI VEGGIE for €15 each. They were very good, but served in a bowl, and the portions were really small for the price. That price each gets you two pizzas, and we weren't even close to being full. A bottle of sparkling water + cover charge totaled €38!! It was outrageous. We would have liked dessert and coffee, but we probably would have spent €50 for two. Plus, the wait was long, and the cover charge didn't include bread, just a paper placemat and napkin (plus cutlery and glasses, of course). The food was good, but I wouldn't recommend it due to the illogical price/quantity ratio.

This place is a gem in Vercelli, with a friendly atmosphere and background music, where you can enjoy sweet and savory dishes, food and drinks with flavors and aromas you won't be able to do without. 🔝
Mauro is a professional and excellent host who, along with his team, always manages to accommodate my requests and surprise me with some pleasant new treats. 😊 I'm so hungry🍽️🥂

05/02/2026: I had pasta, ravioli del plin al ragu, and a plate of vegetables. The food good, the ragu delicious, the service attentative. But the vibe of the place with the giant projections of newspaper articles and food items in a black-and-white club-like setting was not for me.

17/02/2026: A simple, welcoming, and authentic trattoria. We had delicious appetizers and an excellent panissa, so much so that we ordered seconds. The desserts were delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Excellent value. We'll be back and highly recommend it.
10/02/2026: Excellent food, from appetizers to dessert, with good service, but the place needs updating due to mold. For a full lunch, plan on a good couple of hours.

27/02/2026: I remembered the takeout pizza as one of the best in Vercelli... unfortunately, I have to change my mind. We waited 50 minutes... the pizza was watered down with chunky mozzarella and was cold, like a macaroni, with terrible vegetables... it's just not good. The others weren't any better. I'm sorry, but the price we paid wasn't worth what we ate 😞😞
26/02/2026: Staffeta didn't bring the drinks. I called and explained what had happened, and explained to the staffeta in both Italian and English that he had to go back to the restaurant to get what was missing.
After about 40 minutes, I called the restaurant again and they told me that either I went to get it or they couldn't do anything, and they hung up the phone.
If the app wouldn't refund me, the restaurant's attitude was to steal from me.

07/09/2025: We've been going there for breakfast and cakes for special occasions ever since this bar opened, and I have to say, they're the best in my opinion!!! The ingredients are EXCELLENT quality (the custard is amazing! 🔝) and the staff, Alex and Ilenia, are both professional and always available for a chat.
Highly recommended!!!

08/03/2026: Lake from Salasco. Very pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. We had the Carnaroli risotto with cherry tomatoes and blue cheese: delicious. The staff were very friendly and immediately welcoming. This pizzeria is not to be missed.
06/03/2026: We've been to this place twice and the location immediately feels welcoming and warm...the windows overlooking the lake give it a sense of space and grandeur, the wooden ceilings, the posters on the walls of historic drinks...everything makes sense and has a homely feel...the guys are super kind...and the pizza is highly recommended...we'll definitely be back.

08/03/2026: We booked on Friday for a group of ten, one of which had chairs with food allergies. They were immediately available to meet the customer and offer them the same menu as the other diners.
Excellent food, good service, more than fair prices, small and elegant atmosphere: highly recommended. We'll be back!
08/02/2026: If you happen to stop by without a reservation, you go for the standard menu. In that case, we chose from a few options: well-prepared food, drinks, dessert, and coffee. When you pay, you can't believe the price... We had a great time, they were quick and friendly. Based on our experience, I don't understand what happened to those three who complained. I consider it a local favorite for good, home-cooked food and drinks, rather than going to fast food places... We'll be back regularly in the future.
Then, speaking with the owner, we were told that for holidays or personal events, they can prepare a more extensive and appropriate menu; just make a reservation!
No sooner said than done!
Update: November 2023, for a wedding anniversary, a very good and tasty menu. Appetizers, first courses, second courses (polenta and wild boar), side dishes and desserts, wines, coffee... well-prepared food, super-fair bill.
Ditto for 2025, among the many dishes, polenta and roe deer are fabulous.
