03/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant and had a wonderful time: the cuisine uses quality ingredients, and the chef is very skilled at preparing them. We had duck speck and lard with honey as appetizers, followed by panissa, and finally hazelnut cake for dessert. Nothing to complain about; we just wished there was more space to continue sampling other dishes, but the portions were completely satisfying! This place is definitely worth a visit, and if you're even just passing through Vercelli (as we were), a stop here will definitely make your day. Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: Over the years, Croce Bianca has always been a popular trattoria for its excellent value, authentic cuisine, and varied menu. After about a year's absence, I decided to return, confident of the same pleasant experience as before. Unfortunately, I must say that the overall quality has declined, both in terms of the cuisine and the service management. For those, like me, who suffer from severe allergies and numerous food intolerances, the menu is now extremely limited. I chose a crepe with toma cheese and prosciutto: good flavor, but poor quantity. Two small crepes, finished in just a few bites, cannot be considered a main course, especially at a price of 10 euros. The wait times were also excessive at every stage. We waited almost twenty minutes for the crepes, and after finishing our dish, another fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to ask if we wanted coffee, despite having already tried to attract attention. Once we ordered, we waited another ten minutes before our food was served. The service was slow, uncoordinated, and far from the standards one would expect in a place of this type. The wait staff, while polite, displayed a lack of professionalism. The waitress, constantly apologizing, served a dirty cup of coffee, explaining it off as a problem with the coffee maker, when it would have been enough to discreetly replace it. Furthermore, while she addressed the gentlemen in the dining room with the formal "Lei," she addressed my daughter and me with the informal "tu." This attitude, while perhaps spontaneous, denotes a lack of attention: respect, in a professional context, also comes through in language. Finally, when it came time to get the bill, I had to wait about twelve minutes and present my card several times, as the waitress was having difficulty using the POS. Overall, a disappointing experience, made tiring by long waits and sloppy service, a far cry from the welcoming and genuine trattoria that once represented a benchmark for quality and warmth.

31/08/2025: My son's baptism. Very good food, but a bit sparse. The buffet was a bit lavish, but there wasn't enough for all the guests (I'm not saying seconds, but at least a taste for everyone). We asked for more, and they told us they'd run out. The icing on the cake... I wish! They forgot the cake! No cake, and no photos with it. A terrible impression on the guests.

07/12/2025: Nice location, but the food quality has gone down... but not the prices... on the contrary! I was served cold zabaglione... that's not possible... and I was also told that maybe they didn't leave it in the microwave for long... it was a parfait, not zabaglione and cookies...

His wife is a ray of sunshine on that terrace, making you appreciate Vercelli from a different perspective! Whether it's a quick lunch or a dinner for 35, Carmine and his wife will always make you feel at home. Never left out, not even if you're sitting at table 1 near the drinks fridge, always with a "treat" like freshly baked focaccia, a joke, a laugh, and everything arrives right after you sit down! What more can I say? Want to eat at a restaurant like at home? At Carmine's! You understand, Ammè! 😉😉😉 Thanks again for everything, guys!

10/10/2025: We had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent - we shared the tagliatelle ragu and an oldeaner pizza plus a chocolate cake. Plus a litre of house wine for €39 which was very good value. The waiters were extremely helpful despite our inability to speak English. This is obviously a favorite place for the locals to eat. Highly recommend.

11/09/2025: Just moved in, so I had to try it. An intimate and private place with limited seating. So if you're looking for a place to eat Asian food and avoid the crowds, this is the restaurant for you!! The gentleman in the kitchen is truly skilled at cooking; you can see he's passionate about it, and above all, he doesn't let you go hungry (the portions are very generous). Everything is made fresh. The sushi and sashimi are made by the lady at the counter in plain sight, with gloves and cleanliness. They're a bit reserved, but they're very presentable. They cook and serve, which is very impressive, considering the fast service and especially having to deal with takeout orders at the same time, because they do that too. The menu is very extensive, offering an all-you-can-eat option. Very reasonable prices! What can I say? I had a great time. I'll definitely be back!! As Borghese would say... 10/10

26/12/2025: It's Boxing Day, and I find myself stopping for dinner at this restaurant...well, I can tell you the food was excellent, the service was quick, and the staff were extremely kind and friendly. An alternative but definitely enjoyable holiday dinner in a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment. I highly recommend it!
