17/05/2026: What can I say about a place where you eat well with genuine, zero-mile products? The appetizer was excellent, featuring local cured meats and cheeses. The first course was mega herb ravioli with a sauce that would make you swoon with pleasure. The polenta uncia...the smell alone made me faint...extremely good. The second course featured divinely prepared meats...and to top it all off, overlooking Lake Rimasco...it was a perfect lunch. Thank you, and well done.

16/05/2026: We haven't made any reservations yet... 🙄 I'm calling to ask about the menu and availability for Sunday lunch, since we're a group of seven and we're meeting at the nearby flea market tomorrow (Sunday). A waitress answers first, and she was about to explain, when suddenly a woman, who, if I understand correctly, is the owner/manager of the restaurant, picks up her phone. She's very agitated and starts replying in an annoyed tone... that all her dishes are traditional Piedmontese. And immediately after I tell her we'll be meeting at the market nearby, she almost starts scolding me, saying if we'd shown up at two, we wouldn't be able to eat. Then, continuing, she also accuses me of not even going to eat after making reservations!?? 😶 I can also imagine why many of them make this choice 😂, but obviously I don't approve of it because I don't think it's fair to the restaurant owner... it's not done! 😇 I never let it happen. Anyway, after the question: "Do you want to book?" and my response: "Not at the moment... I'll talk to the others and call you back," I hadn't even had time to finish the sentence when I heard someone say over my voice: "Good morning, good morning"... and she hung up on me while I was still speaking🫪 I had just had time to say that I wanted to know how the menu was structured, just to explain to the others. Now I can understand that at the end of the service you might be very tired and a little stressed and that you perhaps need to rest your mind a bit, but now you, who are reading this, can also consider why you've lost the desire to try that restaurant. Luckily, there are many others in the area who offer this wonderful traditional Piedmontese cuisine and you eat very well there too... 😑

11/05/2026: I went yesterday after many years. The food is always excellent and plentiful. Beans, agnolotti, and mixed fried food appetizers. One of the best. You can eat everywhere. Thanks for everything, you're fantastic.

23/04/2026: I was there with some friends of mine a few days ago, the pizza was very good as were the fries, we waited a bit but the place was full so I expected it, the staff were kind and helpful, the place was welcoming and well kept, a more than positive experience

05/05/2026: We stayed at this mountain hotel and had a truly positive experience. The property is in an excellent location, close to the center and the ski lifts, in a picturesque area below the river: the sound of the water is a wonderful sensation... And with everything within easy reach. We felt at ease right away, starting with the friendly and professional welcome over the phone... The hospitality continued throughout our stay. The rooms are truly beautiful, tastefully furnished in perfect mountain style, and the small spa is ideal for relaxing after a day outdoors. The breakfasts are also excellent, generous and high-quality. Across the street from the hotel is a beautiful traditional restaurant, very convenient and highly recommended.

26/04/2026: A chance discovery. 2 minutes from the Santa Rita Clinic in Vercelli. Inside the small Cesar's Airport. Very satisfied. I've been there for lunch and dinner for 5 days...👍 Excellent quality/price. Excellent pizza. Very kind staff. The owner, Mrs. Filippa, is very kind, professional, and passionate about her work....she's quite busy because this place is quite busy.... All the staff deserve applause...for the quality of their work...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Absolutely recommended 😉🎷

25/04/2026: Granted, I'm not in the habit of writing negative reviews because anyone can have a bad night, but there's a limit to everything! I booked a table for dinner at 8:30 PM for three people—my partner, my son, and I. They asked me if the veranda was okay, and I said yes. But when I arrived, the veranda actually turned out to be a porch with mosquito nets, which, at 18 degrees, wasn't exactly comfortable for eating. Everyone was wearing jackets... I arrived promptly at 8:30 PM, as is my habit. At 8:45 PM, we ordered a chef's seafood appetizer and two pizzas, as well as still water, a quart of white wine, and a Coke for my son. The seafood appetizer was served at 9:15 PM, and my son and I didn't get any pizza. We waited in the cold until 10 PM, at which point I decided to leave. Tired of waiting, my son and I, both cold and hungry, decide to leave. I go to the register to pay. I tell the cashier to forget about the pizzas because I've decided to leave. The cashier tells me he's sorry and that the bill, minus the pizzas, is €27, which I pay. But to top off a wonderful evening, he doesn't even give me a receipt. And just to be clear, I wasn't alone at the register when I paid... PS. The biggest annoyance, besides the cold, was seeing tables of pizza served before us!

20/10/2025: We stumbled upon this bistro by chance, arriving after the kitchen closed. They welcomed us very kindly and let us have lunch anyway. The place is well-kept and very elegant, and the dishes are delicious and different from the usual. The homemade desserts looked very inviting. I only tried two biscuits, but they were very good. Highly recommended.

21/12/2025: The place is a bit dated and a bit dull; I'd recommend playing some background music; it would change the atmosphere. As for the food, I have to compliment the chef; everything was truly delicious. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in the area. Congratulations.

13/12/2025: A truly lovely restaurant! We had a wonderful meal: generous, carefully prepared, and truly delicious dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. The owner is definitely an added bonus: she's super helpful and friendly, and makes you feel right at home. A truly positive experience, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: This is my favorite Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Vercelli and the surrounding area. Prices are still reasonable, and the atmosphere is small but welcoming. Lots of choice, and...nothing, I just love it!

03/06/2026: Basta (the owner) made us a delicious and very filling paella. The pizzas are also excellent. Last time we tried the sea bass and it was delicious. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is clean, with good air conditioning, and the service is friendly and fast.

02/12/2025: Everything was excellent, the tartare and tailgata quiltá/best price in the area… My friends had the burgers and were completely satisfied. The only shame was the long wait, but otherwise, very good.
