The presentation of the dishes is impeccable, and the menu is thoughtful without being excessively expensive. However, I found the food a bit overly flavorful, which undermines the quality and flavors of the individual ingredients. The wine list is varied.

03/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant and had a wonderful time: the cuisine uses quality ingredients, and the chef is very skilled at preparing them. We had duck speck and lard with honey as appetizers, followed by panissa, and finally hazelnut cake for dessert. Nothing to complain about; we just wished there was more space to continue sampling other dishes, but the portions were completely satisfying! This place is definitely worth a visit, and if you're even just passing through Vercelli (as we were), a stop here will definitely make your day. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: The quality was barely adequate. We ordered a plate of fries before other diners who hadn't arrived yet, to be brought after the appetizer. It's a shame that they served them to everyone and when it was our turn they told us they had run out... truly awful...

Wood-fired pizza available. Characterful restaurant located in the basement, with exposed brick vaults. Good, fast, and courteous service. Parking on the street or in the former station square. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by for lunch. Ok

The strong point is definitely the large portions and the price: for a small amount you can enjoy a complete meal, with a first course, second course, side dish and bread. It is not a restaurant, so do not expect gourmet dishes, but all the dishes are genuine, well cooked and tasty. Perfect for those looking for a quick but satisfying lunch. The menu is fixed, changes every day and offers different options between first courses, second courses and side dishes. The place is also a bar, so you can have a coffee or a drink comfortably. The staff is friendly and there is parking nearby, which makes it even more convenient for a stress-free lunch break. Excellent solution for those who work in the area and want to eat well without spending too much.

31/08/2025: My son's baptism. Very good food, but a bit sparse. The buffet was a bit lavish, but there wasn't enough for all the guests (I'm not saying seconds, but at least a taste for everyone). We asked for more, and they told us they'd run out. The icing on the cake... I wish! They forgot the cake! No cake, and no photos with it. A terrible impression on the guests.

08/10/2025: Over the years, Croce Bianca has always been a popular trattoria for its excellent value, authentic cuisine, and varied menu. After about a year's absence, I decided to return, confident of the same pleasant experience as before. Unfortunately, I must say that the overall quality has declined, both in terms of the cuisine and the service management. For those, like me, who suffer from severe allergies and numerous food intolerances, the menu is now extremely limited. I chose a crepe with toma cheese and prosciutto: good flavor, but poor quantity. Two small crepes, finished in just a few bites, cannot be considered a main course, especially at a price of 10 euros. The wait times were also excessive at every stage. We waited almost twenty minutes for the crepes, and after finishing our dish, another fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to ask if we wanted coffee, despite having already tried to attract attention. Once we ordered, we waited another ten minutes before our food was served. The service was slow, uncoordinated, and far from the standards one would expect in a place of this type. The wait staff, while polite, displayed a lack of professionalism. The waitress, constantly apologizing, served a dirty cup of coffee, explaining it off as a problem with the coffee maker, when it would have been enough to discreetly replace it. Furthermore, while she addressed the gentlemen in the dining room with the formal "Lei," she addressed my daughter and me with the informal "tu." This attitude, while perhaps spontaneous, denotes a lack of attention: respect, in a professional context, also comes through in language. Finally, when it came time to get the bill, I had to wait about twelve minutes and present my card several times, as the waitress was having difficulty using the POS. Overall, a disappointing experience, made tiring by long waits and sloppy service, a far cry from the welcoming and genuine trattoria that once represented a benchmark for quality and warmth.

25/02/2026: Average-low quality for a quick lunch with a daily menu. Cost just over €10 per person, buttered ravioli and veal with tuna sauce. Don't order wine. Atmosphere: below-average. We ate as a couple.

24/01/2026: Excellent trattoria-style osteria in Campertogno, in the upper Valsesia. Rustic and simple atmosphere. The menu isn't overwhelming, but everything is truly delicious. The platter is generous... First and second courses are top-notch. The desserts are excellent. Truly exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: I came here for a special occasion with friends. We were pleasantly seated in a separate room from the other diners. The food was truly delicious, with dishes appropriate for a farmhouse restaurant, like being at grandma's house. I'll be back during the day to enjoy the view of the hills. Highly recommended!
